LILIANA POV
If hatred could kill, Alexander Winston will be six feet under by now
Liliana Williams stared blanky at her reflection in the elevator's mirrored wall. Lips painted ,hair curled ,dress pressed , everything looked perfect ,yet nothing felt right.
How could one man be infuriating ...and so impossibly magnetic ?
He wasn't just her boss ,he was the Alexander Winston the CEO of LILLY and LACE .
Ruthless, brilliant and Completely unaware of the chaos in caused inside her
It's just a job,she remained herself as the elevator dinged.
She stepped out of the elevator the smell of coffee filled the hall way , she stood in front of a door with a sign "The boss" she gluped and knocked on the door waiting for a response.
"Come in" came out a deep, muscular voice
She walked in and was amazed at the beauty of the office,well arranged book and files everything seems perfect
"You aren't going to stand there and stare" came out the deep muscular voice again.
"Good morning sir" she bowed
He gestured her to come closer
She walked closer and sat down on the chair,he passed her a file to read.
"Read it carefully" he said
She took the file and started reading, after reading the file she signed her name.
"Be here always by 7:00am" he stated
She nodded slightly
"Words miss Lilana" he said
"Ok sir" she said
He nodded slightly"You can leave now, my PA will show your office and will teach all you need to know " he said
She turned to leave ,her heels clicking softly against the polished floor ,but something about his gaze on her back made her spain stiffen . Was he always this intense , or was it just her imagination running wild again?
Outside his office a young woman with warm eyes and bright smile was waiting .
"You must be miss Williams! I'm Trisha , Mr Winston's Personal assistant."Come with me, I'll will show you around".
Liliana follwed her through a glass corridor that overlooked the city skyline . The entire floor looked like something out a luxury magazine , minimalist ,sleek and intimidatingly perfect.
"You're lucky ", Trisha said as they stopped at a door with Liliana's name already on a golden tag.
"Most people don't even get a meeting with Mr Winston, let alone a direct conversation ".
Lucky? That wasn't how Liliana felt
As they stepped into the office ,she was greeted by soft lavender scent and sunlight pouring on through the window . Her desk was spotless , a brand new laptop sat on it with sticky notes nealty placed beside it .
"I'll send the orientation files and daily schedule ". Trisha continue ."And...a little tip Mr Winston's hates lateness more than a bad coffee
Liliana nodded , hiding her nerves behind a small smile .
Once alone she sat at her desk and let out a deep sigh. Her fingers grazed the smooth surface of the table before pulling open the laptop . The welcome screen blinked at her like an invitation or a warning
She thought she was ready for this . She had prepped , planned,and promised she wouldn't fell apart in front of him.
But now that she was here under the same roof as Alexander Winston it was different. Everything felt too real . Too dangerous .
Her phone buzzed beside her . A message from her best friend
"You got this, Lil's. Don't let some fine faced billionaire throw you off".
Liliana smiled
