In the Purple Spirit realm there was a huge battle under way. Countless cultivators and Cultivator sects were fighting for the right to enter a secret realm that is mentioned to have a Immortal artifact.
The Heavenly sword sect with multiple powerhouses at the Celestial Realm had a firm grip over the battle. Soon other powers realized continuing like this would wouldn't work.
As a final attempt to get through the heavenly sword sect, the Dark shadow pavilion requested for assistance from other powers. Obviously no one here would dare to believe in the words of the Dark shadow pavilion but their words held some merit.
If the current situation continued it would end with the Heavenly sword sect being the only ones gaining access to the realm which would make their already formidable power explode.
Soon some forces stopped fighting and turned their attention to attack the Heavenly Sword sect but even under this pressure the Heavenly sword sect didn't sway and held strong.
This caused many people's expressions to frown as they realized they didn't have the power to own this secret realm and offending the Heavenly sword Sect any further would only lead to their downfall. It seemed the Heavenly sword sect was destined to ascend after gaining full control of this secret realm.
This caused many forces to depart with a unresigned expression.
Soon the Heavenly sword sect was the only force remaining.
They suffered many casualties but it would be worth it all as long as they utilized all the resources in the secret realm.
Soon the Sect set up a base outside the realm for the injured cultivators and to set up a transportation array to their headquarters.
The uninjured continued forward.
As the secret realm was searched many resources were found which put a smile on the faces on the sect members.
Soon they approached the Center of the secret realm, the deeper they went in the higher concentration of spiritual energy.
Soon they found the pagoda created by the creator of the secret realm. Inside the pagoda holds a trial and it is said the successor can gain an immortal artifact becoming unparalleled.
Soon the many young talents of the sect entered wanting to win honor and glory for their sect.
There were 10 floors and to earn the creators recognition all one must do is reach the top.
Soon the genius of the Heavenly Sword Sect Ye Fan reached the 10th floor in a domineering manner and passed the tests set by the creator of the realm.
He was transported before a large throne room with a man who appeared ethereal sitting on the kings seat.
"So it appears I've found my successor" Said the man.
"I greet the immortal master!" Ye Fan says while bowing lightly.
"Haha I like your attitude inheritor" Said the man.
"This one appreciates the immortal's kind words" said Ye Fan.
"Come closer my inheritor" the man said with a smile in his face.
Ye Fan with a smile on his face approaches the man believing this is when the Senior will depart the techniques and information of the realm through memory transmission.
As Ye Fan approaches, the Man's smile suddenly turns extremely eerie with the slits of his smile tearing enlarging his smile even more.
At this Ye Fan notices something is extremely wrong and tries to hurriedly step back but alas it was too late.
As the man's hand reached Ye Fan it suddenly expanded becoming very large and wraps around Ye Fan.
Ye Fan tries to fight back against this trying to use his spiritual energy to form a barrier around himself but before his barrier
Can even form he notices that his flesh is melting and is becoming part of the man's hand with him gradually losing consciousness.
"What a spledind treat" the eerie being says laughing loudly.
Ye Fan as the Strongest talent of the Heavenly sword sect had very strong potential and was almost guaranteed to become an influential figure in the future.
This causes his spiritual energy and flesh to be extremely refreshing and helpful to the eerie being.
Soon after the seeing that nobody else passed the trial the eerie being decides that nobody else is worth consuming directly and activate a giant array that goes from the center of the realm to the outer edges.
This causes the members of the Heavenly sword sect to freeze and realize that something is going extremely wrong.
The higher ups realize that this is a refining array and with a frightened expression on their face rush to the exit of the realm but alas they didn't to make it in time.
The refining array was activated turning all the cultivators in the secret realm into a blood red liquid and drift towards the center of the realm.
After absorbing this, the eerie being decides its time to leave and destroys the secret realm with a bountiful harvest.
The Remaining cultivators outside the secret realm notice that something went horribly wrong inside the secret realm and try to enter but before they do the entrance begins forming spatial cracks signifying the core of the secret realm has recieved irreversible damage and the the destruction of the realm is imminent.
With looks of despair they wait outside the realm but even after the realm collapses nobody has exited leading them to believe everyone inside has inevitably perished.
Through the array the sect master and several elders arrive and try to deduce what has occurred inside the realm and as they do they start to frown. This was a trap set by an anomaly
Anomaly's are beings that arrived from outside the jurisdiction of the heavenly dao and exist only to cause damage to it .
They realize how unlucky they are as this realm only allowed people in the Third Realm to enter which led them to believe the owner was trying to find a successor.
Little did they know this was all a plot to devour their talents and Ruin their Sects foundation.
