The Cruel Words That Ended in Sorrow
It all began in a vocational high school located in a small village, a little far from the city.
In the 12th grade of that school, there were six students who had been together since kindergarten. They were:
Imel: the pretty girl, a little flirty
Vanny: the tomboy, but smart
Susi: the talkative one, but rich
Rehan: the cold and composed class leader
Darma: the childish one
Rizky: the quiet one
That Saturday afternoon, a teacher entered the classroom carrying a stack of white envelopes in his hand. He sat at the desk, placed the envelopes on top, and called Rehan to the front.
"Rehan, please hand these out to everyone," the teacher said.
Rehan took the envelopes and distributed them one by one. After that, the teacher spoke again.
"Inside the envelope, you'll find a letter for your parents. It's about our upcoming school farewell trip to the mountain peak, where we'll be camping for three days and two nights. Please give this letter to your parents. Ask them to check the box 'agree' if they allow you to go, or 'disagree' if they don't. All signed letters must be returned by Monday."
The teacher paused for a moment, then continued,
"This data is important so the school can prepare transportation and all the equipment needed for the trip."
After delivering the announcement, the teacher left the classroom.
