"So did Sincere and Kristian like the place?" I asked as I sipped my tea.
I always thought drinking tea was such a white person thing. I know I'm not exactly the darkest girl on the planet, but I was surely raised in the ghetto. Nobody drunk tea in the damn ghetto. But somehow, someway, Natalie got me addicted to drinking hot tea.
"Hell yeah they liked it. Kristian wanted to stay." Natalie answered. "Oh and Jaylie's gotta thing for Kris, I believe."
Jaylie blushed. "What he's just cute, that's all."
"Yeah right, I know you dreamed of him last night."
"Ugh, shut up." Jaylie threw a pack of tea at Natalie. "I don't dream of a thing but money boo."
"Your so unbelievable." Natalie said while shaking her head with a laugh.
"Guys." I butted into the conversation. "Darion finished inside me yesterday."
Natalie's smile faded fast as hell. I didn't expect her to be mad, but she certainly was. She told me to take things slow with Darion, instead I gave her the impression I was doing the opposite. Darion didn't finish inside me last night, in fact we didn't do it at all.
After he ate me out, we just laid down together and talked about things. We talked about movies, clothes, music. We spent that whole night just conversing. The only reason I said he finished inside me, is because I was just thinking of if we had a baby together.
"Bitch what?" Natalie replied, after a minute of silence.
"I said-"
"I heard what the hell you said, I'm trying to figure out why the hell it happened!"
"I don't know, it just did."
"Why the hell y'all always fucking? You sure he loves you, or does he just love your pussy?"
"What, of course-"
"And how the hell are you able to fuck like this? Don't yo damn pussy hurt girl? Do you ever get sore?"
Jaylie was laughing. "Chill Nats, let her have a billion dollar baby. Shit, I wish I was."
"Shut up Jay." Natalie rolled her eyes, she tried suppressing her smile.
"I was joking." I admitted. "We didn't even have sex yesterday. Oh, and yes my damn pussy does get sore."
Jaylie laughed even harder, God I love that girl. Her personality amazed me, it always had since we first spoke to each other. Her attitude, was just as priceless as Sincere's smile to me.
"See Nats, no reason to take everything so seriously." Jaylie said through laughs.
"Yeah, whatever." Natalie replied. "What you doing for your birthday next month?"
My birthday was next month. I wasn't thinking about my birthday, especially with everything that was going on. But I did tell all my friends I wanted to go on a cruise this year. My birthday would be perfect timing.
"We're going to the Bahamas." I answered.
"Awe, hell yeah." Natalie was very fascinated by my answer.
"Cruise?" Jaylie asked.
"Yep." I replied.
"I hate boats."
"Why?"
"I'll get sea sick. Fucking ocean and their nasty ass fish."
I giggled. "Aww poor baby, then you can take a plane there."
"I'll be fine. I'll stay here."
"We're leaving on the day of your birthday?" Natalie asked.
"Sure."
My birthday was in less than a month. Just a couple weeks actually. My plans for a cruise were already made, but I forgot to let those plans be known to everyone. I spoke of it to my family back in January, but nobody thinks about that. It was New Years and I was drunk, nobody probably believed me anyway.
"Do me a favor," I started. "Make sure everyone is aware of it today for me. Tell Taveraz and Cora, see if their kids can come. I'll call Uncle Star and see if Tashala and Starla can come."
"Okay," Natalie nodded. "I'll do that now."
"Thanks sis."
I pulled my phone from my back pocket. It's been a little minute since I talked to Uncle. I don't want to tell him what's going on with Darion. Not yet, I want to save it for later. I dialed his number. It rang for awhile, but he finally answered.
"Hello?" Starlin said.
"Hey Uncle!"
He suddenly laugh. "Got yo ass, leave me a voicemail homie!"
I hung up the phone in disgust. I forgot he had the most insolent voicemail ever. Jaylie looked at me confused, her smile crooked.
"You good?" She asked.
"Yes." I said. "I'm good."
I put my phone into my back pocket again. Then I left the commons, I was in the elevator alone as I went up to Darion's room. I stormed into his room, attracting the attention of everyone in the room. Darion, Ethan, and some white chick I didn't really recognize all glared at me.
"What? You act like you seen a damn ghost." I said attitudinally.
"Rose, welcome." Darion spoke sweetly.
"Don't you fucking sweet voice me."
"What's wrong sweetheart?"
"Don't sweetheart me either. Who's she, your new bitch?" I nodded my head to the girl sitting on the end of the bed.
Ethan laughed softly, he stopped when Darion looked at him though. Darion put down the notebook in his hand and walked to me. He was probably lecturing them over something. Being the genius he always is when it comes to business.
"What's your problem?"
"Nothing, leave me alone."
"You obviously want attention."
"I don't want your anything."
He grabbed me by my arm and pulled me into the lobby room outside his door. He closed the door behind him and pushed me into the elevator door. I gasped, I was shocked by how hard he pushed me. It reminded me of the first night we met.
"Don't fucking push me like that!" I ordered, then pressed the elevator button.
I know I was being difficult, I'm always difficult. That doesn't give him the right to push me though. He didn't answer me when I spoke to him. He stayed in silence, until the elevator door opened.
I rushed in, but he got in with me. I ran back out, then he grabbed me. I pushed his arm off of mine. He let the elevator door close behind him. He grabbed both my arms and pinned me against the wall.
"Let me go, you fucking asshole." I demanded, but he enjoys ignoring me. "Darion let me go now!"
That's when he put his hand into pants. Why is everything so sexual with him? Natalie was right, he had to be in love with my pussy. That had to be the reason why he was fingering it at that moment. I moaned his name, I told him to stop. So he fucked me harder.
"Damn it baby!" I tried to get away, but hesitated.
"Stop acting up!" He finally spoke, his voice was loud and commanding that I jumped in fear.
"Okay baby." I surrendered. "Okay baby, I'll stop. I'm sorry."
He stopped fingering me, then took his hand from my pants. My heart was racing, felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. I felt as if it sounded like popcorn popping in the microwave.
I took me by my hand and walked me into the bedroom. Ethan and that other girl just sat there waiting. They must had thought Darion was beating my ass, because the face that chick wore was shocking. I was going to question her and tell her to change that facial expression before I change it for her, but Darion spoke before me.
"We were discussing what we're going to do in our meeting next week." Darion said, his voice raised and deep.
Damn I love his voice, especially when it gets so deep. When he's angry, it's the very best. He snapped at me, attracting my attention.
"Don't fucking snap at me." I said rolling my eyes.
"Pay attention baby girl."
"Okay." I almost said daddy after my okay, but stopped myself. I probably should had said it, just to fuck with the chick next to me. So I did it. "What meeting daddy?"
Darion smirked. "With the President, next week."
"Oh, okay. I forgot baby, I'm sorry."
"Your fine Rose." Then, he finally introduced us. "This is Tampa."
What kind of name is Tampa, I really do hope it's not her real name. I looked at her for a moment and nodded. She nodded back, I'm glad she didn't want to do any hand shaking crap.
"Tampa, anything you want to tell her about yourself?" Darion offered.
"No thanks." She declined, I thanked God.
"Well next week in D.C, we planned to handle things nicely with the President. He's going to be pissed if we decline, but I truthfully don't fucking care. He's going to decline every offer I give him, as if I have no authority over my own creations. So, therefore it may heat up. Just stay calm and go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens." Darion said. "This meeting can disband now, stick to the script."
Tampa and Ethan left together. Darion stretched, followed by a yawn. He was tired, it was distinctly plain to see. I asked him if he would come lay in bed with me, he replied with a unexpected no.
"Why not?" I asked him.
"I've got a lot to plan out Rose, will you just hold off on me for a moment please."
"Excuse me?" I sighed. "No what, never mind. I'll let it go."
"Good." He said shaking his head. "Come with me."
Darion led me into the elevator. He pressed the button that said BL, all the way on the button.
"Below level, correct?" I asked.
"Exactly." Darion answered.
"This should take years, from the very top to the very bottom."
He chuckled. "Perhaps."
It felt like it took awhile. The elevator stopped on different floors and people got in and back off on another floor below the level they were already on. This happened a few times until we finally reached the lowest level of the building. Finally, the elevator door opened exposing the lowest floor.
It was dark, the light was dull. The little light that did come from the ceiling was red. It was something straight from a horror movie. There were steel doors ahead, closed shut. I felt like nobody ever came down here, ever.
Darion swiped his I.D across the scanner beside the steel doors. After the scanners light turned green, the steel doors opened slowly. Darion continued walking, I followed and listened to each step we took. It was so empty down here, we could hear echoes of anything that made a noise.
"I like the attitude of your friend Kristian." He said softly as we finally stopped walking, in the middle of a dark room.
"Yeah, he's a very lowkey person." I responded.
"Exactly, that's why I brought him down here after he told me he would like to join us."
"What?"
Darion switched on the lights. They were bright, they illuminated the entire room. My jaw nearly dropped. There were so many foreign guns against the wall. I've never seen these weapons in my life, they must be something Darion didn't give to the military.
"What is this Darion?"
"This, is the revolution. Pick up a weapon, aim it at me."
I grabbed the closest gun to me. When I touched it, it turned blue. I smiled as I lifted the weapon. Colorful guns now, how exciting can Darion get. I aimed the gun at him as he ordered and noticed the small screen below the aiming scope. It read, "Hostile, gunlocks are off."
"What the hell?" I questioned.
"Tap the button on the side." He nodded to the right side of the gun.
I did as he told, the gun itself spoke. "Your target is hostile, gunlocks are off. Fire when ready."
"Holy shit." I covered my mouth, this fool made talking guns.
"Watch this." He said, then raised his I.D higher.
"Your target is a friendly, gunlocks are supplied." The gun's robotic lady voice spoke again.
I damn near laughed my ass off. This is crazy, how more scientific can Darion get? I pulled the trigger to the gun, it didn't shoot.
"So what stopped it?" I asked him.
"I programmed these weapons to only work for my people only. Meaning, I program everyone's dna onto the guns. If your finger prints aren't recognized, the gun will turn red and soon self-detonate in your hands." He explained. "I call these, smart guns."
"Your so damn crazy. This is smart, but what do you need these for."
"In case anything goes wrong with Mr. President."
"What?"
"What don't you understand?"
He wasn't serious, he couldn't be serious. He made these weapons to use if something went wrong with the President, meaning if he had to go into full out war with his own country. This pushed me, this threw me off too much.
I threw the gun across the room. I yelled at him about how stupid he can act. Then I turned my back to him and walked to the elevator.
"Rose!" He yelled at me.
"Fuck you, we're done! Your a fucking psychopath!"
