Tony Stark quickly arrived at the venue of the charity ball hosted by Stark Industries.
This was an upper-class ball, with handsome men and important figures dressed in expensive attire, as well as many young, beautiful, and alluring women.
Tony Stark's arrival immediately drew the attention of countless people.
After handing his car to the valet, Tony Stark scanned his surroundings, casually responding to those who greeted him, looking for Harvey Anberaka.
He wanted to talk to Harvey Anberaka again, to understand how much the latter knew about him.
Unfortunately, Tony Stark did not see Harvey Anberaka.
So, Tony Stark could only go find Obadiah first, wanting to ask him why he wasn't informed about this charity ball.
The two exchanged a few words, just as Tony was about to go inside to question Obadiah further.
An audi r8, accompanied by the roar of its engine, drifted gracefully to a stop by the roadside.
In New York, while bustling, the cars of the upper class are mostly recognizable.
The arrival of this silver audi r8 immediately made most of the people present aware of who its Master was.
Among them, Tony Stark had specifically investigated the other party, so he naturally knew who the Master of this car was.
Soon, the car door opened, and a black-haired, black-eyed man with a tall, handsome figure stepped out of the car.
"Directly appropriating 3.5 billion U.S. dollars in liquid capital, and instantly becoming one of Stark Industries' shareholders."
"From now on, there will be one more person among the socialites."
Some people who knew more information also discussed in low voices upon seeing the man's arrival.
"He's actually attending the evening party?"
"He didn't bring a female companion this time, did he?"
Some young and beautiful women, upon seeing Harvey Anberaka's arrival, were incredulous yet eager.
Although Harvey Anberaka had attended Tony Stark's press conference last time, this was undoubtedly Harvey Anberaka's first appearance at an evening party.
And such charity balls generally require a female companion; if one is lucky, they might spend the night together.
Tony Stark stood on the steps, his gaze meeting Harvey Anberaka's.
Tony Stark didn't waste words and walked straight up.
"Rumor has it you don't attend these kinds of events. Although an invitation was sent to you, why did you come this time?"
Tony Stark came before Harvey and asked.
"There should be a lot of good food here. Coincidentally, I received an invitation and had nothing to do, so I decided to come and take a look."
"And I feel you probably want to talk to me right now, so I came."
Harvey showed a slight smile upon hearing this.
"Then do you have time to talk to me?"
Tony Stark heard the certainty in Harvey Anberaka's words and did not deny it.
"That depends on what you want to talk about."
Harvey did not give a clear answer upon hearing this.
"Let's go inside and talk."
Tony Stark glanced around from the corner of his eye and said.
Harvey nodded in agreement and walked in with Tony Stark.
The two conversed as if they had known each other for a long time, igniting the gossip of many people around them.
Coulson saw that Harvey Anberaka had actually come, and was talking to Stark about something unknown, so he decided to find an opportunity to talk to Stark.
"Why did you suddenly buy shares in Stark Industries?"
Stark and Harvey entered the venue together, going directly to an unoccupied balcony outside the ballroom.
"The reason, of course, is that I want to earn more money."
Harvey looked at the night view outside and said calmly.
"So I'm asking, why are you suddenly optimistic about Stark Industries again?"
Tony Stark heard this evasive answer, his tone like an interrogation.
He couldn't figure out this question, so he could only understand it through Harvey Anberaka.
"With your mind, it shouldn't be difficult to figure out my reasons for doing this, right?"
Harvey heard this, turned his head to glance at Tony Stark's chest, and said meaningfully.
"Who told you?"
"Obadiah?"
Just that one glance made Tony Stark feel as if he had been completely seen through, his eyes narrowed, and he immediately guessed, tentatively speaking out the most probable name.
"Disposable trash that can be erased at any time, not worth my association."
Harvey said calmly upon hearing this.
"..."
Tony Stark heard a sense of disregard in Harvey Anberaka's tone.
This wasn't an act; he could feel that Obadiah Stane, in Harvey Anberaka's eyes, was like an insignificant nobody.
However, Obadiah Stane had cooperated with the Military for many years and was a prominent figure in America.
What was Harvey Anberaka's confidence in saying these words?
"I have no grievances or grudges with you; I'll pretend I didn't hear any of this."
Tony Stark didn't think much of Obadiah Stane internally, but the latter was from the same generation as his father and was one of Stark Industries' veterans.
So, while he didn't necessarily respect Obadiah Stane, he also didn't consider him foolish, and their long-standing relationship was still decent.
Based on his investigations into Harvey Anberaka's background and origins, if Obadiah Stane were to know that Harvey Anberaka looked down on him so much, then Harvey Anberaka would likely face a devastating blow.
Although Harvey Anberaka made Tony Stark very uncomfortable, it must be said that the two actually had no real animosity.
"You're actually trying to keep it a secret for me? That's really appreciated."
"As a thank you, Tony Stark, I can give you a hint. Are you interested in hearing it?"
Upon hearing Tony Stark's words, the indifference and calmness in Harvey's eyes instantly melted away, and a slight smile appeared on his face.
"This time, I'm not asking you; you want to say it yourself."
Tony Stark heard that Harvey Anberaka wanted to give him a hint, so he kept his guard up, clarifying the relationship beforehand: I'm not asking you, you're insisting on telling me.
"Of course, this is just a thank you gift."
"Aren't you investigating who deliberately kidnapped you?"
"Trust your intuition, and be careful of the other party."
"After all, even trash can cause some trouble."
Harvey saw Tony Stark frantically trying to distance himself, afraid that he would think the other party was asking for a favor, and spoke.
"How... how do you know I was kidnapped?"
Tony Stark heard "trust your intuition" and a name surfaced in his mind, but he quickly reacted, almost shouting the question before immediately lowering his voice.
"I'm a bit hungry; I should go get something to eat."
Harvey glanced at Tony Stark but didn't answer. Instead, he rubbed his stomach, spoke to himself, and walked into the ballroom.
Tony Stark watched Harvey Anberaka walk through the ballroom, heading straight for the table laden with food, with many questions in his heart.
However, Harvey Anberaka's current location was clearly not suitable for him to continue talking with Harvey Anberaka.
So, he was forced to temporarily suppress the doubts in his heart and also walked into the ballroom.
This is the first of three updates today.
