Chapter 17 - 17

The next day, a piece of news suddenly appeared.

At four in the morning, Stark Industries was attacked by Terrorists, and all the offices of Stark's top management were destroyed, but fortunately there were no casualties.

The identity of the Terrorists is currently unknown.

As soon as this news came out, many people in New York who didn't know the truth happily started gossiping.

Some believed it was retaliation for Tony Stark, the Chairman of Stark Industries, previously announcing a foolish decision.

Some believed someone wanted to take the opportunity to bring down Stark Industries, so they launched an attack at this time.

Others mocked Stark Industries' defense system for being useless, unable to find any trace of the attackers after being assaulted.

It could be said that early in the morning, countless New York citizens had a humorous topic for breakfast.

If it had been before, many people would certainly have been heartbroken by the attack on Stark Industries.

Because many people held shares in Stark Industries, if Stark Industries' reputation was damaged or its valuation fell, they would be distressed for a long time.

But now they had all sold their shares, and the more miserable Stark Industries was, the happier they were.

Harvey had already woken up at eight in the morning and was eating his first meal of the day.

His eating habits were one meal in the morning, one at noon, one in the afternoon, one in the evening, and a late-night snack.

When Harvey saw the news, he knew that Tony Stark had already begun to act.

However, Tony Stark, despite having many ways to get what he wanted with minimal loss, chose a method that was somewhat inappropriate.

But Harvey thought about it carefully and understood that Tony Stark had just made the Iron Man Armor, so he hadn't fully adapted to the power and how to reasonably use his abilities yet.

Although Iron Man's Armor was just the beginning, the destructive power it caused was still extremely astonishing, almost equivalent to a personified advanced fighter jet.

And after continuous improvements, Iron Man's power was simply not something human technology could contend with.

However, this powerful force did not make Tony Stark turn dark and go down the path of a villain, all thanks to the incident in Afghanistan.

Harvey finished breakfast, changed into the God of Death cloak that completely covered his face, and then decided to go to Afghanistan to take a look.

Although Tony Stark had obtained evidence against Obadiah Stane, Tony Stark should still go to rescue the people of Gomira in Afghanistan first.

After all, that was trouble created by Stark Industries, and Tony Stark, as the one in charge, needed to deal with it.

To win over Tony Stark, he needed to make more preparations.

So Harvey activated Void Awaits, and his body directly disappeared into the void, leaving his home.

Harvey's current speed reached Mach 4, and if he transformed back into Void Predator Kha'Zix's Shadow, Harvey himself didn't know how fast he would be.

However, he didn't need to use such a fast speed at the moment, quickly heading to Afghanistan, a place he had been to countless times in recent years.

Afghanistan was currently in a period of war where the strong preyed on the weak, and Terrorists ran rampant; it was a place where people truly walked around with guns and cannons.

Many mercenaries died in Afghanistan every year, but it was undeniable that Afghanistan was still a paradise for mercenaries.

There were also some mercenaries who acquired large quantities of weapons and directly transformed into Terrorists on the spot.

In comparison, New York, known as Hell's Kitchen, had the Military suppressing things, so at least on the surface, it wasn't as extreme.

With Harvey flying at full speed at high altitude, it only took about two hours to reach Afghanistan.

So Harvey arrived at this familiar land, where the smoke of war permeated the air, and everywhere was a living hell.

Harvey saw these sights without any change in his expression.

In his previous life, Harvey greatly admired Superheroes, who possessed various superpowers and had good intentions, saving countless lives.

But while Harvey admired them, he himself did not want to become a Superhero.

Because the initially rescued would consider being saved by you a great kindness, feeling grateful to you.

But after saving many times, once a strong person became a Superhero in the eyes of others.

Countless people would believe that protecting and helping them was some kind of obligation, and then stand on the moral high ground, believing it was something you should do.

As if forgetting that Superheroes do not necessarily have an obligation to save all beings.

The saying 'with great power comes great responsibility' is merely a rhetoric used by the weak to morally bind the strong with words.

Don't you see that most of the strong individuals in the Universe act according to their own moods?

Why haven't they been morally bound? Because those who tried to morally bind them were destroyed by them.

As a strong person, Harvey also did not want to be morally bound by the weak; he only wanted to live freely according to his own will.

He could rescue or even help the weak, but he would not do so out of some obligation, but because he wanted to, even if it was just on a whim.

He would do it because he wanted to, not because he was instructed by others or morally bound.

When Harvey arrived in Gomira, a figure in a handsome, red and gold Armor was fighting the Terrorists.

However, Iron Man's every move had some obvious pauses.

It was evident that Tony Stark lacked combat experience at the moment, and his use of various weapons seemed not smooth enough.

But even with slightly insufficient combat experience, the gap in technological combat power still allowed Iron Man to kill the Ten Rings Gang Terrorists without much trouble, rescuing a group of people from Gomira.

Just as Tony Stark finished the battle, a chilling aura seemed to drop the surrounding temperature by several degrees.

"Sir, a life target has been detected a hundred meters above the southeast direction."

Tony Stark looked up in that direction and saw a figure completely covered by a dark cloak.

"Jarvis, can you detect his identity?"

Tony Stark's pupils contracted as he saw the figure floating in the air without any support, and the sensation emanating from him was incredibly dangerous; he quickly asked.

"Detecting... Detection failed... Identity unknown."

Jarvis also detected it and found that his database had no information related to this figure.

"As a human, to be able to create such a thing, your mind must be quite excellent."

At this moment, Harvey spoke, his cold, chilling voice echoing in the sky.

The voice was like a cold wind, making people's scalps tingle involuntarily.

Many of the people in Gomira, even the crying children, were so scared that they stopped crying.

"Is that a compliment to me? Well, thank you very much, I'm very confident in my mind too."

Tony Stark's body also rose into the air, reaching a hundred meters high; he didn't know whether this person was friend or foe, but since the other party spoke, he naturally returned the greeting.

"You can interpret that as a compliment to you."

"However, the technology you create is only relatively powerful compared to humans."

"Looking at the Universe, your technology is still far from enough."

"You are still too weak now."

"I hope that the next time I see you, you can invent something that makes me feel even more novel."

Harvey looked at Iron Man and said.

As his voice fell, Harvey's figure disappeared into thin air.

Tony Stark saw the figure instantly vanish, his eyes narrowing as he immediately said, "Jarvis!"

"Sir, no life signs of that unknown entity have been detected; it's as if he completely vanished."

Jarvis also understood Tony Stark's meaning and immediately activated his radar to detect, but the result was that he did not find the other party, reporting with a hint of apology.

Hearing Jarvis say he couldn't detect the other party, Tony Stark's heart sank.

Although the voice of this unknown figure made him feel a chill down his spine, Tony Stark could hear a hint of approval in it.

However, Tony Stark was complimented on his mind, but he wasn't happy at all.

Because he had never heard of such an existence on Blue Star.

There was actually a sentient being in this World who could fly in mid-air without the aid of any power.

This made Tony Stark feel as if he had accidentally opened the door to an unknown World.

Whether this was a good thing or a bad thing, Tony Stark didn't know yet.

However, Tony Stark remembered the other party's evaluation of his technology, that it was too weak compared to the Universe.

Does that mean the other party knows the Universe very well, or is the other party an alien?

It made sense; his proud artificial intelligence, Jarvis, hadn't even discovered the other party's trace.

Only when the other party appeared did Jarvis suddenly inform him that the entity had appeared.

He didn't even know if the other party had just arrived or if he had been watching him rescue Gomira.

It seemed he had stumbled upon a new World, and facing such an unknown entity, Tony Stark felt not excitement, but rather anxiety.

Who exactly was the other party? Was he a creature of Blue Star? If not, then what was the other party's purpose in coming to Blue Star?

After thinking, Tony Stark was startled to realize how little he knew.

Immediately, Tony Stark returned with a heavy heart.

He still had some things to do; he had to completely deal with the trouble that was Obadiah Stane.

After he finished these things, he would investigate the existence of that unknown entity in detail.

Harvey watched Tony Stark float blankly in the air, seemingly lost in thought, before leaving Gomira.

Harvey knew that his identity had already left an impression on Tony Stark.

Next, as long as Tony Stark was interested in understanding, the impression would deepen, and he would learn about the Void, this unknown place.

The purpose of this trip had been achieved, so Harvey also returned.

The most important thing to win over Tony Stark was to leave an impression.

As long as an impression was left, given Tony Stark's constantly thinking and truth-seeking personality, they would definitely meet again.
