Pain! A boy freshly 6 years old writhed around in his bed, clutching his head, tears flowing from his eyes screaming. A young woman barged through the door to his room in a panic.
"What's happening" the voice echoed throughout the small room. Not knowing what to do she held the boy tight, slowly but surely the writhing stopped and his body went limp. Her eyes widened until she checked his breath and let one out herself. Laying him in his bed she sat next to him affectionately running her hand through his onyx hair.
An hour later the boy rose, eyes opening a door to the abyss, subconsciously he snuggled up to the woman, until he jumped.
'What's going on, where am I' looking around the barren wasteland of a room he started to remember first came memories of a man named Dylan who died in a head on collision with a truck at just 16 after finishing his GCSE's, he wondered how his family and friends would react. He could imagine his mum crying, his dad comforting her, his little sister wondering what was going on. He was scared for them, would they be fine without him, how much trouble would his friends get in without him, he had always been the mature one In the group stopping problems before they arose.
"Are you okay" a concerned voice ring throughout the room.
This triggered the onslaught for the second set of memories, luckily there were only 6 years of them. He was called Uchiha Akane son of two chunin level parents who had been devoured by the beast known as the third great ninja war. The concerned woman was named Uchiha Amaya, she was his aunt a 21 year old civilian who ran a dango shop. Looking at her he felt the love from the previous boy or maybe him? He didn't know maybe a mix? He didn't feel like he had taken over the body it felt natural despite his original body being 2 feet taller, he could only ponder this later.
"Are you okay" she repeated again and again with increasing anxiety, he had been zoned out for an entire minute.
"Yes auntie just my head hurts... Like a lot" placing his hands back on his head.
"Well at least it's not as bad as before, you nearly gave me a heart attack."
"What even hap" his legs gave out from underneath him. Swiftly Amaya caught him before he could fall and placed her hand on his forehead.
" A fever" she muttered.
Another 4 hours had passed and Akane rose once more
"Lay down and don't speak" Amaya commanded
Instinctually his body complied used to such orders in the past. She removed the wet towel and checked his temperature again, he was fine. " Alright sit up if you want just not too quick you might pass out again"
Basking in the golden light from the open window the phoenix rose again.
"What time is it" he grumbled
" 12:00" Amaya quickly replied "you should be more awake you've had 14 hours of sleep."
He snickered and kicked his feet off the bed groggily waddling with zombie like grace "I'm going to freshen up."
Amaya shook her head "make sure you're out in time for dinner."
Akane breathed in even in his bedroom he could smell the meal like it was next to him. He saw the boy in the mirror shudder in delight a grin across his young face, his cheeks were full of baby fat and yet he still had that classic Uchiha handsomeness, his hair stretched to his shoulder blades surrounding his head, the spiky fringe protecting his forehead, his eyes swallowed all light and his skin was clear and pale, his grin widened thinking about the future.
" Dinners ready"
Instantly he sprinted to the kitchen with the speed of a fighter jet and arrived at his chair with a sonic boom from his stomach, whatever happend in the morning had starved him. Clink. A bowl was placed in front of him and Amaya sat down.
"Thanks for the food"
Within minutes both bowls were finished, content with life for the time being Amaya started a conversation.
"You planning on going to the ninja academy, it starts in 4 months."
"Really whats the date?"
"It's 22nd of January your birthday was three days ago, do you need the year as well maybe your age."
"No it's Konoha year 51 and I'm 6"
"Well done you might graduate early if you're that much of a genius."
"Coming from someone who couldn't graduate"
"Alright you win, if you're done go rest up we don't want that fever to come back do we."
He quickly agreed realising he had a lot to think about.
