Chapter 3 - Trouble
I rushed into my room, closing the door, I locked the door like my life depended on it, I was trying to stay away from trouble, yet I kept calling trouble. I heard footsteps, heavy, deliberate, stopping right outside the door.
I was so scared, I wanted to jump out of the window. And then I heard his voice. "Pull that fucking stunt again, and I'll kill you myself" And then silence, he left, just like that....
I stayed silent for a few moment, before opening the door slowly, as I stepped into the hallway, what was I doing, I was just going to get my self killed.
I past by a door, and then it opened and someone pulled me, I screamed as I realized it was Maya.
"Oh hey.... Maya, you scared me" I said, slightly shaken. She answered a huge grin on her face "Sorry! Merida, I need you to do me a favor"
I raised my eyebrow wondering what it was. "Go on." What she said shook me.
"I'm sneaking out to a party ok, and I need you to go with me. Plssss?" My eyes widened as I stepped back.
"What? No. If your brother finds out, he'll kill us. ME! he literally hates me" Maya giggled, like actually giggled. I was annoyed "Did I say something funny"
She shook her head and said "Pls? Take it as.... a way to have fun, I promise you, the party will be fun"
I thought for a while, needing to relieve some tension. "Fine.... but I have no dress to wear" She squealed happily. "Say no more!"
She pulled me into her walk in closet, and gave 3 choices to pick, they were all so gorgeous.
All the 3 dresses were on fire, red, violet and black, the red screamed elegance and decency, the violet talked style and essence, and the black talked sexy.
I was so drawn to looking at it, the black dress had cuts and was so sexy and revealing, I chose that one and Maya squealed "OMG! You'll look so good in it. Hurry, Hurry! Try it on".
As I putted it on and walked out, Maya dramatically fell to her knees "God, You look so sexy! Wish my brother could see you right now, he'd practically lock you in his bedroom till he knot you"
I blushed "Maya!" She giggled as she got up and wored her dress.
We sneaked out of the window, it was late, 12:30am midnight. As we sneaked out, and we didn't see his piercing gaze from the window at the top of the building.
When we got to the party, It was bustling with people, some kissing, others drinking and dancing, Maya dragged me to the dancefloor as we started dancing, she suddenly disappeared, and I walked to the drinks table and drank.
As a cute guy approached me, flirting with me. "Hey beautiful, What's your name, I answered him smiling. "It's Merida..." He smirked "Wow, nice name, it's beautiful. Would you like to dance?" Without waiting for my response, he dragged me to the dancefloor, as we danced and laughing.
I was indeed having a good time. The room suddenly fell too hot as I went outside for air, as I turned around to go back inside, I saw two huge men with creepy smiles on their faces. With sharp tools holding them.
I stepped back. "W-Who a-are you?... What do you want from me?..." One of them licked his lips disgustingly, as they conered me in, tears welled up as I begged them to let me go.
As one of them grabbed my arm, pulling me close to him, I heard a deep, commanding voice "Boys?... step away from the lady. Now" They turned around and saw a man as they recognized him, they scurried away.
As he stepped into the light, I realized how handsome he was. "Are you ok?" He asked with concern. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine, thank you so much...." I answered grateful for my life. "Would you like a ride home?" I nodded, since Maya had already left. Probably with some guy.
As we neared the pack house, he asked with amusement. "You live here? Wow, must have been tough getting in"
I smiled "Yeah, real tough..." as he dropped me off at the gates. I stopped him. "Hey! I forgot to ask, What's your name?" He smirked and answered "I'm carl" "I'm Merida"
I brush a strand of my hair back, blushing. "Could I have your number...?" He immediately gave it to me, I waved him goodbye as he drove off.
I grinned widely like an idiot sneaking in slowly into my room, breathing in air as I looked up towards my window, there he stood, shirtless, standing by the window, looking out the window.
I felt a shiver run down my spine, I was doomed.
He turned around, his gaze raking over my body, making my legs clench. "So, I took you in. And you decided to lure my sister into sneaking out with you right? Answer me!" He yelled into my face as I shrinked back, terrified, he backed me up until I hit the wall.
He punched the wall beside my head and I whimpered. "A....Alpha? T-That's not what happened" He leaned down to my eye level, his hot breath on my face, as much as I was terrified, he looked so fucking hot.
"I don't need your shitty explanation. I'll hold you responsible if anything happens to Maya".
His arm wrapped around my throat, squeezing as he leaned down, I closed my eyes, waiting for what he'd do next.
