Chapter 5 - Jealousy
As dawn approached, I stirred awake, sunlight slipping in through the curtains. The sheets were crumpled, cum dried on it as I looked over to my side, I saw Xavier, still naked from last night encounter, looking like a carved statue of war and temptation.
My heart raced as I remembered every detail of last night, wondering to myself, was it him.... or his wolf. Xavier stirs awake, but instead of tenderness, his coldness was back like an ex.
"Get ready and dressed. Your training starts at 9:00am sharp. I won't have you being here useless" No mention off our intense encounter, like it never happened, I was furious, both embarrassed and hurt.
He stood up, his muscular, glorious naked body on display as he puts his clothes on.
"Don't be late. The training grounds are just over the balcony, you'll see it" And just like that he stormed out.
"Jerk". Getting up, still naked as I looked in the mirror, the hickeys on my back neck, collarbone and breasts, his finger bruises still on my thighs, but damn, I felt satisfied. I walked to the bathroom and took a long shower.
I walked out to pick an outfit for the training. Thanks to Maya and her many clothes.
I felt so sexy wearing it, maybe he would notice me, no, no, I shook my head, If he was going to ignore me, then I would too.
I walked out with confidence into the hallway, until I heard the cleaners giggling and whispering. Warriors glancing at me and smirking as if they already knew.
Some of the cleaners whispered "Is that Alpha's new toy? She's pretty though" I felt anger.
And I stormed past them to the training grounds. And I was surprised to see quite a lot of people there, training in pairs, hitting, kicking, punching, and then I saw him, and like a idiot, I started blushing,
He was wearing sleeveless shirt, his muscles bulging, a chain on his neck, catching the sunlight. His hair perfectly styled.
When he saw me, he took in my outfit and for a split second, I saw desire in his eyes and then like that, it was gone.
I walked over to him, standing right infront of him, my hands on my hips, as the others training looked at us, it was almost like everyone knew we'd had s*x, information spread so fast around here.
I crossed my arms, looking at him "So Xavier? What do I do now?" He growled in my face "It's Alpha for you. You're no less than those who call me 'Alpha' so you call me Alpha, not Xavier, got it?" I was raging, how could he be like that after he railed me raw.
"Yes Alpha.... I got it". He stepped closer, fixing my position and balance for fighting, I threw a punch, it hitted him and he didn't budge, instead, I got my hand hurted. "Jesus!? What are you? Steel!?" I could see he supressing a smirk. "Punch me." He ordered.
I punched, over and over until my fists were a pile of jelly, he punched me back. Just a single punch, It sented me flying, as I hitted a tree, wailing in pain, but no one helped as I clunched my back.
We kept going, I punched and punched, and it did nothing to him. He punched me and I got hurt, just a small punch, and I got hurt. This continued until he gave up. I was weak. Too weak to him"
"You're just a pile of flesh, all skin and no bones! You're a damn wolf! And you can't even throw a single punch! Useless!" He yelled harshly in my face as I felt humiliation. My cheeks burning as I held back angry tears. He stormed off, angry and frustrated.
The other trainees continued their training as I sat under an oak tree, my legs curled up to my chest. After training hours, the trainees left. As I continued sitting under the tree.
Suddenly something caught my eye, someone was training alone on the training grounds. And I recognized him in an instant. It was Jayden. Xavier's beta.
I took off in a rush to him, panting as he turned to me. "Whoa princess, slow down, why the rush?" Still panting, I answered him. "I need you to train me. Pls, I really need this, I'll also return the favor! I promise!"
He laughed and said, only on one condition, I looked up waiting as he answered. "It's a question. Rumors have been going around that the Alpha slept with you. Is it true?"
I blushed deeply, "Y-Yes, it is..." He pumpfisted. "I knew it!" I answered impatiently. "Now can we train?" He nodded, smiling.
As we start training, I was loving it, learning it step by step, punch by punch, balance by stance, patience was helping me. As he touched me to straightened my posture and step.
Xavier watched from the shadows, jaw clenched - jealousy flashing in his eyes, but he hides it.
When I and Jayden finished training, I thanked him. "Jay. Thank you so much. I'm so grateful! You've helped me a lot! We'll continue tomorrow right?" He laughs "Sure princess, see you around".
He grabs his bag and walks back towards the pack house, as I grab my water bottle.
When I turned around, I saw Xavier approaching, standing far too close as he speaks in a mocking tone.
"You're sloppy"
I snapped back. "I'm learning".
"You think you can protect yourself by training with my beta." He scoffs. "You wouldn't last a day if you don't let me teach you the hard way"
I glare at him. "Maybe I don't need your help. Maybe I want him to teach me. Maybe not everything should be done the hard way." He leans down, whispering in my ear, I'd like to see you try to 'learn'."
He walked away and I was raging mad, I took a deep breath muttering to myself. "We'll see about that"
Later in my room, I was undressing, when I heard slight movement, his voice slipping through the door, rough and hungry.
"You can hate me all you want, but I know you crave me.... us". And then his footsteps faded away as he moved away from the door.
I was left breathless, torn between attraction and anger
