Veronica welps in a shocked sort of whisper as the robotic voice in the books repeats its sentence...
"I. Said. "
"Choose. A. Book. To. Choose. Your. Fate. "
"Okay... but what does that mean??" Veronica Questions the strange voice echoing from the covers of the dusty (sci-fi like), future books.
"What. I. Mean. Is."
"Hold. A. Book. For. 7. Seconds. To. Choose. That. Book."
And so, for some strange reason, and without hesitation even though she had just barely discovered these new weird books just now,
She holds one of the books for 7 seconds. . .

"You have Chosen, The "s a v e h i s s o u l" route. Once "T h e S h e l f ." Opens up, Please continue through the Doorway..."
The Robotic Voice then changes to a tutorial voice for a moment as the strange shelf slowly but surely opens.
"By the way! Just a heads up. Since the doorway on the other side is on a very steep cliff, This verrry carrring Shelf has provided a stair way made out of the sturdiest shelves in the universe, for you to walk on of course. Anyhoo, safe travels, and we hope you are able to save ur friend and walk through the shelf again soon! 😎👍👍"
The Eerie Shelf then comes to a complete Stop after it slid itself to the left side of the still kinda weird doorway to another world...
"Okay, not gonna lie... that last robot voice was ...kinda corny.", Faith says as she turns to Veronica in front of the now open doorway.
"I know right", Veronica replies, surprisingly agreeing.
They then, walk through the doorway...
And just for once in these last several hours, Veronica, is starting to gain some sort of (and if not, a lot of) ...
