And so, Veronica and her new Government tag along head back to the inter-Galactic Gate, but what they didn't know is that in front of the gate they were about to stumble upon ...
"A Shelf? ... you took me all the way over here... just to show me a bunch of bookshelves." Faith chants irritably.
"Brru it's not just a bookshelf ya dummy! The portal should beee, hmmm I don't know... Behind The FRIGGIN BOOKSHELF!!! 😤
"Oh Yea right, why didn't I think of tha"—
Faith's rambling suddenly comes to a sudden stop as she for some strange reason struggles to move the bookshelf...
"Huh that's weird, I thought I was stronger"
She then does a goofy laugh out of a joke she made, at a still really bad time. And then after like 2 seconds, she realized, and she stopped laughing.
...
And then 2 seconds after that she rambles on again.
"Anyhoo, um, so what are those two books doing on different shelves, someone should really organize those for real"
"OH WILL YOU STOP WITH THE JOKES, I DONT WANNA JOKE RIGHT NOW!!!", Veronica out of nowhere starts yelling at the top of her lungs and pounds her hand on the first shelf, breaking that first shelf into pointy wooden chunks and having the first book, (the only book on that specific level of the whole shelf) fall onto the floor and opens up as the gravity of the fall catches up to it (of course).
But once it opens, her whole life will change with time... Literally.
And it opens, and all of a sudden Veronica realizes there are no pages, just the front and back of the covers and a — "HOLY GUAC, IS THAT A FRIGGIN HOLOGRAM", shouts Veronica as she gasps with some kinda excitement for once in this story.
Then Faith has to (of course) say somethin stupid:
"Okay so, lemme get this straight... you get excited over a hologram, but you don't like portals to other worlds?? "
"Brru my Friend Literally died because of that "CooL PoRtAl tO AnoThA wOrLd" and not gonna lie, I would probably cuss at that stupid hologram if it had killed my friend but it CAN'T, cuz Holograms, Can't TOUCH PEOPLE YOU LITERAL CRAZY EXCUSE FOR A GROWN ADULT!!" 😤😤😤
...
Faith then just responds with,
"So are ya gonna pick up the book or what?"
Veronica the replies accepting that she's the kid and Faith is somehow, still the Adult...
"Alright yea, whatever, I'll pick up the dumb
Book"—
As she picks up and holds the book for about a second or so, she sees a vision of her saving her freind somehow, and running from something and then quickly snaps back to her reality, to the fact that her Friend is still literally dead.
Gone. Nada, Nothing. But still not forgotten...
After her quick vision, she starts to get curious about the other book on the shelf so she opens it, and sees a vision of..., her burying her friends dead corpse, and saying goodbye!??
"What kinda sick, twisted, techno books are these??" Shouts Veronica as she suddenly hears a weird robotic voice coming from the two mysterious books.
...
"Choose. a. book."
"Choose. your. FÂ AÂ TÂ EÂ . "
...
"Wait, hold up." Veronica says loudly with confusion in her breath.
...
...
"what?"
