Moira's POV:
" How dare you question me like that! Did you all forget who the Alpha is! Do you need me to remind you all!" Zayreen's deep growl resonated through the ground making everyone to cower and take a step back.
His Alpha aura is radiating off of him in waves and every single wolf present in here forced to submit to his Alpha power.
Zayreen's wolf has came front but he didn't shifted.
" My pack's safety comes first and I will never jeropdise my packs safety. These rogues are harmless and iam going to help them, if anyone have a problem come front and talk to me." No one dared to come forward but rather took another step back. Their heads hanging low in shame and fear.
Zayreen didn't stood there for long and stromed off.
This is my chance to talk to him and maybe this is a bad idea. I don't like to be someone's problem and seeing how his pack is questioning me is not sitting right with me.
Maybe i should look help from somewhere else.
" Iam going to talk to the Alpha. Go back to the room, Layla." My last sentence came out as warning and she knows not to take it lightly as we can't trust these people like they don't trust us.
" Is it a good idea to go after him when he is angry and fuming?" Layla asked, worry evident in her eyes.
" I will be fine, Layla. Go back to the room and don't come out till I get back to the room." I turned around and to find Zayreen stroming into the woods and disappears.
I started walking towards the path Zayreen took and I can smell him through the path and this way I can find him.
As i entered the thick woods, there is no sight of Zayreen anywhere but his scent is intense around me. I walked some more into the trees and saw him standing near a tree and his back facing me and he is breathing so hard, his hands are clenching and unclenching.
" Zay…Alpha!" I stopped myself from calling him by his name. I don't have any right to call him like that.
His head snapped towards me, his eyes are still shining golden and his wolf is still in front.
" Leave!" His nostrils flared, he turned his body around and stood there like a stone not moving.
" I want to talk to you." I know it's stupid to still stand there and talk to him but iam stupid.
He stalked towards me slowly like a predator. My head is screaming to trun around and run for my life but my body froze to the ground.
" He looks so hot." My wolf groaned, literally salivating. This is not the right time to admire him when his eyes screaming murder.
In an instant he is infront of me and he slammed my body to a trunk of the tree. He didn't leave any gap between our bodies, they are practically glued to eachother.
" Didn't I tell you to leave? Why don't you listen!" His face moved towards my ear and his breath tingled it.
" I..I…" iam opening and closing my mouth like an fish who is gasping for breath. His closeness is consuming me and I can feel myself getting aroused by his scent and touch.
How did I become this wanton?
" I can taste your arousal on my tongue." It's not Zayreen who is talking but his wolf.
" Z…Zayreen, I will leave if you give me some space." Iam stuttering like an idiot and feels embarassed that my body is having this reacting to him even when I knew that he is already mated.
" You lost that choice the first time I told you to leave." He purred, skimming his lips along my cheek to my neck sending shivers down my body.
I pressed my thighs to stop the ache between them but it's of no use.
" This is so wrong. You can't just touch me and come near me, Zayreen." I put my hands on his chest and tried to push him away but he didnt budge even an inch.
" Why is that, love?" His sharp teeth bit on my skin making me arch my body into him more. My breathing turned heavy and i'm panting hard.
" Y…You have a mate and I don't want to be the third person who will…." His loud angry growl shut me up, arousal replacing fear.
" How dare you talk about her like that! You are nothing but a Rogue. Stay in your limits." Zayreen's words pierced through my heart and my wolf growled inside my head.
" Move." I roared, pushing him away with all my strength and this time he fell back on the ground.
" I maybe a Rogue but i deserve respect and i value the bonds created by moon goddess, so help me, I will rip your throat if you disrespect me again like this." Zayreen's eyes turned back to their normal color. His jaw set tight and he is still on the ground looking at me like i'm kicking him.
" Moira! I didn't mean like that, I'm sorry." He raised from the ground and moved towards me but he took a step back keeping some distance between us.
" Don't come near me, Alpha. I came to your pack for protection and that's it." I didn't let him say anything more before I turned around and stormed off from there leaving him behind.
Zayreen didn't follow me, a part of me was angry that he didn't follow and another part of me feels like it's for best.
Whatever we had was just wrong and unfair to his mate.
I don't know how much i walked or where I turned but I lost my way to the pack house.
There are thick trees surrounding me and the darkness started seeping through the cracks of those trees. An eerie feeling started creeping through me like someone was watching me but the moment I turned around, no one was there and the feeling vanished.
" Am I really lost! Ugh! I can't believe I lost my way." I grumbled, already feeling too tired to walk. I don't know if I can even get out of this mage.
I stopped at a place trying to find the right path to walk. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear nor feel that someone was behind me but when I realized it's too late and that someone put a cloth over my head and put me in a headlock.
My hands instantly went towards the hands which are choking me through the cloth and it's hard to breathe in it.
I tried to buck off and kick whoever was behind me but they had the upper hand with the bag around my face.
I felt that the person had tied a bag around my neck and pushed me on the ground, straddling me and beating the shit out of me.
Punch after punch landed on my face and I can't even tell if it is a female or a male. I tried so hard to fight back but it's no use.
The weight of the person vanished from my body but the relief didn't last. I felt the kick to my ribs making me curl to the side but the person kicked my back too making me whimper in pain.
After some more kicks and punches everything stopped, it felt like the air stopped too. Every single part of my body aches and i'm so helpless that I can't even breathe properly.
I think this is my last breath I'm taking right now. I don't know when I lost consciousness as I was in and out of it but at last I lost to the pain.
