Chapter One
"Why have you asked us to come here, King Ragnarok?" inquired High Lady Chen Tavia as she eyed the King of the Goblin Nation before her and her family as her Lord husband was right beside her. However, her milk chocolate colored eyes locked onto her other daughter's child from England, Chang Cho and raised her eyebrow further as she noted the child within her arms.
"We are in need of your assistance, Honorable grandmother." uttered Cho with a hard swallow as she hoped her mother's family agreed with her and helped her.
"With what darling, Cho." inquired Lady Chen Sudoku as she eyed her niece carefully with concern but was curious about the covered up infant in her arms and knew it was not her niece's child.
"You are all aware of High Imperial Lady Hela Potter-Black-Peverell, you are?" spoke Ragnarok as he eyed the Chen's and watched as they glanced at one another before they nodded their heads.
"Of course we are aware of who she is. Not just England owes her debt. The entire world owes her a debt for bringing down Voldemort." spoke Lord Chen Kudia as he glanced at his father as the man narrowed his eyes with a calculating look in them.
"The child, Cho holding, has something to do with the High Imperial Lady." commented High Lord Chen Kazier as he folded his hands onto his cane and eyed them all on the cold side.
"Allow me to explain everything." nodded Ragnarok as he glanced at Cho as Draco moved protectively standing beside the female holding the infant in her arms.
~
"May I see her?" inquired Sudoku as she motioned to the infant but smiled as her niece and Lord Malfoy shifted some with protectiveness. "I give my word, I will never harm a child." she nodded with a soft tone as her niece came forth and held out the child to her. "Oh my, she is going to be a little heart-breaker when she grows up uh?" she mused softly as she looked down at a fair but extremely beautiful little girl with already dark crimson almost blood red locks forming on her head and just knew her eyes would be a shocking piercing green. She smiled as her husband came over with a curious look on his face and nearly snickered at his smitten look including the looks that flashed over her father in law's and mother in law's faces as well.
"Will you take her in as your own? Will you give her the childhood that my cousin never had? Will you protect her and care for her as your own?" inquired Draco with a firm and soft tone as he looked at one of the most powerful wizarding families in China.
"She will need to be blood adopted into our family." commanded High Lord Kazier with a tone that said he will be obeyed as he glanced at them all.
"Of course. However, because she is the last Heiress of the Potter, Black and Peverell families. She will need to be raised as such as the High Imperial Lady would have wanted. No arranged marriages may be signed for her either. She is to have everything given to her that was denied to the High Imperial Lady." nodded Ragnarok as he glared hard at them all as they glanced at one another before offering nods.
"We do not arrange marriages in this family anyways. Courting periods are done." nodded High Lady Chen Tavia with a small smile as she knew her youngest granddaughter was going to be extremely pleased to not be the youngest anymore.
"Well, Jin-er will be very pleased to not be the youngest anymore." chuckled Lord Chen Kudia as his youngest was constantly pouting at being considered the baby at 4 years old.
"Oh, she comes with three very overprotective House Elves. They are called Dobby, Winky and Kreacher." spoke Cho with relief that her family was willing to take the little girl in her arms and once more felt her heart break for her once friend, wishing things could have ended differently.
~
"Mei-Mei?" frowned 4 year old Jinyang as she stared at the little thing her mama was holding and inched forward with an eager look. "She's sooo pretty! Like a Xuè Jīnglíng (Blood fairy)!" she gasped as she reached over and gently touched a cheek with her small finger.
"That she does sweetheart. Her name is Chen Yao, Lady/Heiress of Potter, Black and Peverell families. It's going to be your job to look out for your baby sister." smiled Sudoku as she watched as her youngest daughter squealed softly with delight.
~
"Is she safe, my love?" inquired Astoria as Draco came walking into their manor and swallowed hard as he nodded with a tired look. "It was the best option. We could not take the request in her growing up here…we know what they would have tried with her. Hela, would have wanted it this way and you know it." she reassured her fiancé as the man swallowed hard once more.
"I know Ria, I know. I just wished it didn't have to be this way. I will make sure though she knows where she comes from and who her parents were." nodded Draco with a determined look on his face as he knew his soon to be wife would agree with him on this.
~
"Girl who lived/Woman who conquered death at age 19!"
"High Imperial Lady Hela Potter-Black-Peverell died and was survived by her infant daughter!"
"The Girl Who Lived, Heiress missing! Goblins refuse to answer for the protection of their client!"
