Chapter Two
"Uh?" muttered Chen Yao as her piercing viridian emerald green eyes were locked onto her phone reviewing a message plus a contract sent to her account for Smiling.
"What's uh?" demanded Chen Jinyang as she moved to where she was hovering over her sister's shoulder and peered at her phone. She narrowed her eyes as Yao tilted it for her to be able to see the screen better, so she could read with her. "I thought you said you did not want to become a Professional Gamer, because you had no interest in potentially coming to hate something you love to do?" She inquired of her little sister before her eyes became near slits as she was reading through the contract.
"I did say that yes, because I am not interested in playing the OPL professionally. However, I am sending this contract to Jun-Ge along with Yeye as well, because the very essence of it offends me. I am tempted to go down to that Head Quarters for ZGDX myself and rip out someone's magic from their very core." snarked Yao as her eyes flashed dangerously as she eyed the contract, ignoring as the air thickened and rippled with danger from magic.
"Do so because I am tempted to help you. I bet we could even get Dobby, Kreacher and Winky to help us as well." smirked Jinyang with a glint in her eyes as she glanced away from her sister's phone and looked into her Mei-Mei's displeased eyes for a moment.
~~~~~~
"Rui."
Rui froze at hearing the low dark cold male voice of ZGDX"s residential Ice Cold Captain otherwise known as Chessman or Lu Si Cheng, from behind him. "Yes?" he asked as he turned but swallowed hard as he noted that his eyes were more colder, darker, and assessing than they normally were.
"Would you mind explaining, why I was, not even five minutes ago, notified that a meeting was being called at HQ due to the fact that my father received a…very displeased to say the least message from Chen Jun, on the very offensive contract that was sent to their client as an offer to join ZGDX as the starting Mid, when Ming retires by you on the orders of Ceo Bao?" inquired Sicheng in a deceptively soft and icy tone as his eyes flashed dangerously towards the frowning manager and noted his slightly pale look.
"The only contract I sent out was to Smiling and it was perfect." protested Rui with a frown on his face but swallowed hard with fear as a cold sweat broke out on the back of his neck as he could feel the rise of dark powerful magic in the air coming from the man before him.
"I want the contract sent to me now. It was obviously not as perfect as you say it was considering Chen Jun is promising, not threatening, but promising to rip ZGDX apart legally and magically due to your so-called perfect contract." commanded Sicheng in a low controlled dark tone as he glared hard at the man before him with ice in his eyes. He ignored as the others came walking over with alarmed looks on his words as his magic flared creating an icy feeling in the air.
"Rui-ge, what have you and the board done?" demanded Ming with a glare because he would wring the man's neck if his and the board's actions dared to screw them over from landing Smiling as their new Midlaner because he had to retire after the upcoming Spring Finale due to his wrist.
~~~~~~
"Before I do anything, Mei-Mei. Do you have a desire to join ZGDX?" inquired Chen Jun as he eyed his youngest sister. He watched as she tilted her head with a thoughtful look on her face before she turned her piercing viridian emerald green eyes onto him.
"Not as a Professional E-Sports player. Why do they need one when they have a perfectly good one is my question right now. Why is Yu Ming retiring? Find out for me please, Jun-Ge. If it's something like an injury, I can probably heal it myself either with my magic or a rune, so make that offer to him. He is after all my favorite player and member of ZGDX. However, if they are in need of a Coach, D.A or Healer personally for the team? I would be interested in those. Plus it would give me an excuse to put some of my degrees to work." nodded Yao as she spoke with a thoughtful look flickering over her face as she glanced to brother as he tilted his head before nodding in agreement with her words.
"Grandfather was thinking the same thing. He does not want you playing as a Professional E-Sports player because how toxic fans can get over their favorites. However, Grandfather has also said he is not keen on you staying alone in that base by yourself with it filled with nothing but males. He will want you to take Dobby, Winky and Kreacher with you if you go to live there and probably order another female to be housed there as well, one of ours." warned Jun of his little sister as she nodded before she looked amused with a deadly glint echoing in her eyes.
"Yeye, has forgotten from the research done? All the males in that base are wizards and none of them but one, probably, would even be able to withstand my magic. Plus if they got out of hand? I can just hex, curse or prank them." smirked Yao as a chaotic amused dark look reflected in her eyes.
"Homicidal Gremlin." muttered June with a fond look to the female as she winked with a larger grin on her face. "Just remember no evidence and call either me or Qiang first if you need help with cleaning up." he warned the favorite sibling of their elder brother, who was also the Heir Apparent to the Chen Family.
"But you love me." sing-songed Yao with a wicked smile on her face as her brother chuckled at her with a nod of his head.
~~~~~~~
"You seem to be taking this personally…much more personally than one would for a client of theirs, Chen Jun." commented Ceo Bao with a cooled tone as he stared at the man before he paused as something cold, dark and amused flashed in the man's dark eyes.
"Yes, in fact I am taking this personally. In fact you can say my entire family, especially the men in my family are taking this farce of an offensive contract that is clearly compiled by a misogynistic male, who thinks he is sly and he would be able to trap a female, personally." scorned Chen Jun darkly with ice coating every word as everyone tensed up this further as Bao had already been put through the ringer by Lady Lu herself and Heir Lu. "Want to know why my elder brother, grandfather and father, especially the first two are seconds away from ending your life by challenging you to an honor bond due to the death?" he asked in a light soft tone, however, the look in his eyes was anything but.
"Who is Smiling exactly to you, Mr. Chen?" inquired Ming in a respectful tone as the man's lips curled into a cold dark smirk.
"Smiling, just so happens to be my youngest sister, Chen Yao, the Chen Family's Crimson Princess. Your board insulted a high born lady. You, Ceo Bao and Xiao Rui insulted a High Born Pureblood lady, who is the youngest Lady and daughter of the Chen Family. So again give me a reason on why my family should not destroy this company and you Bao, considering ignorance is not an excuse." answered/informed Jun without mercy and took great pleasure in seeing the color drain from the man's face along with the other board member's face that had helped him with the contract. "That goes for you as well Mr. Su. My grandfather is ready to declare a blood feud with both of your families and not to leave out, that my youngest sister? Chen Yao is seconds away from finding you both and ripping away your magic from your very cores herself. She was very displeased to be presented with such a contract just because she is a female. Words of advice? Don't get on her bad side anymore than you already have…her temper tends to be worse than Qiang's." he taunted as he knew his baby sister would not hesitate to kill both men. He was amused as he saw the brief spark of interest in the Lu Sicheng's eyes
"You want something, what is it?" demanded Lan of the male as she was going to kill both damn bastards for this…because the Lu family was the majority shareholder? This was a smirch on their honor mostly. She could feel her son was beyond furious as his magic was hovering over his skin in a dark cloud of simmering rage.
"We want this…."
~~~~~
"Seriously?!" groaned Yao as she glared heatedly at Jun as the man was sitting there and ignored the others in the room as she glanced at the paperwork. "I never said I wanted to owe a piece of ZGDX, you ass! Much less 34% of the bloody company!" she groused at the amused man as she sent him a small stinging hex, causing him to yelp with slight pain and glare at her as he rubbed his thigh where it had hit him.
"It's a good business opportunity. After all, Jinyang has recently purchased YQCB to run as she wants to be able to protect Ai Jia better." offered Chen Qiang with a brief dark amused look at the female as she huffed as she wrinkled her nose.
"I suppose it's not. At least Griphook, would be pleased at another promising venture that will fill my coffers even more." contemplated Yao as she walked over to the fire place with a humming tone as she stood before it. "Did they accept my offer of healing Yu Ming?" she asked her brother, but tilted her head as she felt her grandfather's magic shift.
"Yes in fact High Lord and High Lady Yu, have offered their appreciation in friendship and alliance, if you can succeed where all others fail." offered Chen Kazier with a proud tint to his tone as he gazed at his granddaughter as she hummed with a nod of her head.
"I won't fail. If magic can not do it? Runes can. Some healers are bloody idiots. If they would just broaden their minds? There's a whole other world of magic out there especially in runes. There is a reason why one of my Masters is in Runes." nodded Yao as she turned to face the others before her eyes softened as they landed on her familiars, a full grown white Kneazel and a near full grown gray striped one. She had Da Bing, since she was child because of her outbursts of magic and needed help to settle herself. However, that had only lasted for a time because it not only spiked but also became much more powerful, when she had gone through her maturity, which led her to finding and getting Xiao Cong, her second familiar. Which shocked but pleased her family because to have two familiars and at such a young age? Meant, she was extremely powerful.
"Good, we will be heading to the ZGDX base tomorrow, be ready. I am going with you. I wish to have a word with Heir Lu and that manager." nodded Qiang to the youngest of them as she perked up eying him with a tilt of her head.
"I am going to have to help you get rid of a body?" asked Yao curiously as she had no issue with that considering she loved/adored her elder brother more than anything. Besides, it would not be the first time she has had to do so and would not be the last.
"Not this time…well maybe, you never know, little bit." smirked Qiang with a dark amused look as she nodded her head to him with her lips quirking up into a smile.
"Be on your guard. Don't forget that Jian Yang is a part of the industry." warned Jinyang as she was sitting beside their mother drinking tea and scowled some.
"I will not be held responsible for my actions/reactions to him. Seriously, I think he needs his bloody head checked out, since I have never shown interest in him and he is nowhere strong enough to bond with me. Plus…I have never even hung out with him. I met him once and that was at Ai Jia's birthday party 4 years ago!" hissed out, Yao as a dark glint flashed in her eyes as her magic spiked over her skin. She smirked as both of her Kneazels perked and approached her with rumbling purrs of comfort for her but shot her family members glares as if they were the cause of her anger and her magic spiking.
