In an American orphanage 'The bloom', children were running and playing in the yard. A little cute African girl walked up to them clutching a doll tightly in her arms
"C-Can..I join you guys?" Anna asked shyly, her head lowered suddenly they all stopped playing and walked towards her a young girl stepped forward without hesitation, she pushed her making her fall to the ground
"We don't allow new kids to play with us go away!!!"
Anna sat alone watching the others play happily she stared at her doll which had a stain of blood on it face.
Just then, two Korean adults entered the yard with the orphanage's matron Mrs Rachel.
"As you can see, Mr and Mrs Lee this orphanage is thriving due to your generous donations I didn't expect you here today, if I had known, i would have asked the children to sing for you in appreciation" Mrs Rachel said with a concerned voice
"That won't be necessary Mrs Rachel " Mr Lee replied calmly his handsome face serene
"We just wanted to meet the children tod....." Mrs Lee suddenly froze. Everyone turned to her in confusion
"What wrong honey?" Mr Lee asked suddenly she placed her hand on his mouth
"Shush.." Mrs Lee eyes locked on the little girl sitting alone with her doll . Slowly, Mrs Lee walked over and sat down beside her.
Anna looked up startled to see a beautiful woman smiling at her
"What's your name, little one?" Mrs Lee stared at the cute little black skinned girl with doll like eyes she was mesmerized by her cuteness
"Annabella" Anna whispered
" Why aren't you playing with the others?"
"They don't want to play with me" Anna looked down and hugged her doll tightly"I miss mama and papa" she looked up with her doll like eyes filled with tears.
Mrs Lee chest tightened,her own eyes brimming. She forced a smile
" Mama and papa also miss you too let's play together okay"
Mrs Rachel froze, horrified seeing Mrs Lee almost in tears she knew how Mr Lee really cherished his wife who will dare to make her sad
"Actually Mr Lee" Mrs Rachel explained nervously "Anna was only brought to this orphanage yesterday. She lost her parents in a car accident two months ago she was the only survivor and she just got discharged from the hospital yesterday and she was brought here i... I'm sorry she made your wife sad. I'll take her away...."
Mr Lee raised a hand, silencing her
"It's been Six years since I last saw my wife smile like that. How old is she ?" Mr Lee asked
"6years old sir "
"Perfect"Mr Lee smiled as he watched his wife laughing with Anna.
Soon, Mrs Lee carried Anna and walked up to them
"Honey, I want to take her home" Mrs Lee said with shinning eyes
ONE MONTH LATER
Yuna was officially adopted into the Lee family they gave her a new name;Yuna meaning "to blossom" she flew with them to Seoul, south Korea.
As their car drove through the gate of a massive mansion, Yuna's eyes widened in awe. The grand house looked like out of a dream. Inside she met a handsome 11 year old boy
"Yuna this is your brother Min ho" Mr Lee said proudly
Min ho walked forward, mesmerized by her cuteness with a smile he gently took her hand
"Hi. I've been waiting for you"
TWO YEARS LATER
Yuna lived happily with the Lee family. But then Mrs Lee decided to move to America to build her business there, she decided to take Yuna with her.
At the airport Yuna cried bitterly, clinging to her brother
"I'll come to America every month I promise" Min ho said wiping her tears away
Yuna nodded sealing the promise with a pinky swear, she gave her dad one last glance before her mother carried her away. That was the last time she saw South Korea
TEN YEARS LATER
A young lady with long braids ran through the empty street early in the morning, her headset blasting "ON" by BTS suddenly she tripped and fell.
"Ouch! Eomma told me not to run today. God, I hate when she is right" Yuna muttered touching her scraped knee which was bleeding already.
"I guess today is really inauspicious as she said. Koreans and their superstition" Yuna rolled her eyes and got back up she set her headset very well on her ear and limped home.
Inside, Mrs Lee was cutting some fruits in the kitchen she looked up to see her adorable daughter staggering
"Did you fall?"
"Unfortunately yes. You might have been right about skipping the run.
Yuna sighed and sat on a stool stealing a piece of fruit with a fork.
Yuna stared at her beautiful mom she couldn't help but wonders again: why had she left Korea to settle in America. Why she had left her husband and her son. Only five times in a year her dad and her brother visits them in America sometimes he leaves earlier while her brother stays longer especially during summer holidays, it's not like they both had a fight or something'
"Eomma aren't you going to the company today?" Yuna asked, it was unusual to see her mom home in the morning
Mrs Lee hesitated, guilt flashing in her eyes "I... I'm not going today"
"Is something wrong mom?" Yuna was worried
"Oh, nothing I just need a rest"
"That nice am heading to Bethany's house soon. We should hang out before the new semester starts Yuna smiled heading to her room.
As she left, Mrs Lee phone on the table rang, she picked it up.
"Have you told her yet?" A deep voice asked
"I will today" Mrs Lee whispered sadly

LATER IN THE AFTERNOON
"Curfew at 6 p.m...!" Mrs Lee yelled as Yuna left the house
"Mom! I'm not a kid!" Yuna pouted slamming the door "oops that was a mistake mom!" Yuna yelled from outside
Bethany's house was only a five minute walk from her house when she got there Bethany hugged her tightly
"What's wrong with you? we met yesterday" Yuna laughed
"I just can't live a day without my bestie" Bethany said, dragging her to her room
They sat on the bed,chatting and snacking Bethany suddenly asked
"How is mom?" Yuna's face darkened
"She's acting strange there's something she is not telling me, I think she forgot I can read her mind, in fact she has been acting strange since we came to America
"Hey, don't think too much, if something is wrong, she'll tell you eventually" Bethany reassured her
Hours passed, and Yuna dozed off
At 7.p.m, she suddenly woke up
"Oh my God, the curfew!" She jumped up knocking several snacks on the floor falling.
Bethany also waked up rubbing her eyes she sat up.
"Bethany fuck I slept off mom will really be angry" Yuna scratched her hair, grabbed her phone and gasped...dozens of missed calls and texts
"What's happening why is there so many people texting and calling me"
"What's going on?" Bethany asked checking her phone
"People are talking about you in the class group chat I can't seem to figure it yet..."
Suddenly a news alert popped up on Yuna's screen. She clicked it.

Yuna face darkened
"What the hell is this?"
Her phone buzzed with messages;
'Yuna are you guys really loosing everything?'
'Why did your mom sell it?'
'Are you okay?'
"Bethany I have to go home now I will text you later" Yuna panicked, and grabbed her shoes
"What is going on?" Bethany was confused
At Home
As Yuna entered, she found her mom at the dinning table, downing glass after glass of wine she moved closer to her.
Mrs Lee suddenly dropped the glass cup on the table and sighed
"I thought I told you to be back by 6," Mrs Lee said bitterly, not even looking up
"Mom, is it true? What people are saying online?
Mrs Lee looked up slowly, her face weary. "Yes"
"What!!! You sold your dreams, your hardwork, everything. For what exactly?And I didn't even get to know about it"
"I'm sorry,Yuna. It's already done. We are moving back to Korea next week"
Yuna froze, I'm not going back to SK. You raised me here. My whole life is here my friends are all here am happy in America I don't wanna go back" Tears welled up in her eyes
"We're moving back. That's final"
"You know I shouldn't say this but you are heartless you don't even care about your daughter's feelings? Maybe it's because I'm not your real daughter! You suddenly left Korea without dad or Min ho and you never told me why. Don't I deserve to know the truth too?"
Mrs Lee wasn't expecting those words from Yuna, her hand trembled. Tears spilled down her cheek.
Yuna gasped regretting her words she rushed to hug her mother, "I'm sorry mom, I didn't mean that"
"No, Yuna I should be the one to apologize. I wanted to tell you but I couldn't bring myself too. I planned to tell you when you come back home today but everything just happened suddenly. Mama loves you so much, Yuna, I'll do anything to protect you, your brother and your father"
They held each other, sobbing quietly
Back To Korea

At the airport, Yuna and her Mom walked gracefully, pulling their suitcases.
Yuna wore a short white Chanel dress, black ankle boots and sunglasses. Mrs Lee wore a sleek black suit with matching shades.
Back to South Korea again to create new memories. They had decided even though what had been lost, they would arrive in style.
Yuna still couldn't figure out why her mom sold her company, it's not like the Lees were facing bankruptcy.
Suddenly, A loud scream erupted in the arrival hall.
"There he is!"
A group of fan girls holding banners came running
Yuna, lost in her thought snapped back to reality as the crowd of crazy girls rushed toward her. "Shibal" she muttered before she could even move, one of them bumped into her hard. She lost her footing and began falling backward. Everything was slowed down

Yuna shut her eyes, bracing for impact. But instead of a cold floor, all she felt was a warm embrace. Shocked, she opened her eyes and looked up at the stranger who had saved her. Her heart skipped, it was just like Bethany always said
But her sunglasses slipped down her nose, she finally saw his face
Her expression darkened.
"You've got to be kidding me..."
