Lucy stood up "I was entering the class after submitting my project to the teacher and I met Magdalene bullying Sarah, she was about pouring milk on her and it hit me because I happened to be entering the class at that time" she explained, her gaze on the floor not daring to look her brother in the eyes
"And what did you do?"
She bit her lips "I - I hit her"
"Apologize for hitting your mate, Lucy" She raised her head up, honestly speaking, she hadn't expected her brother to ask her to apologize
Turning to Magdalene "S-sorry for hitting you" she tried smiling at her but failed, oh how much she hates her!
Adrian then turned to the two girls "Which one of you is Sarah" Of course, he doesn't know them
Sarah raised her hand up, it could be seen that she was really bullied, her arms had red marks and her hair was looking disfigured
Adrian asked Magdalene to then apologize to Sarah for bullying her in which she did and then he took his sister's hands taking her away from the office outside. After reaching his car, he went to the other side and entered, Lucy's trembling hands opened her side of the car and entered too, she kept her gaze on her hands which were on her laps
"Please can you not tell Dad and Mom?"
"Why would I do that" Adrian asked as he started the engine not sparing his sister a glance, he might pamper her like a little sister she was but he had always warned her on hitting her classmate, it was the same as bullying. And the fact that he had to come down to her school himself made him more furious
"I know I did something wrong, please forgive me brother"
"A wrong doing deserves a punishment" Lucy sighed, this was what she was avoiding.
Again, she won't be allowed access to her phones and tabs including laptops, that was always her punishment
"Okay, I would accept the punishment but promise not to tell Dad and Mom, please"
Before he could reply her, his phone rang, he connected it to the car's speaker before answering the call
"Speak!" It was Sean
"Mr. Chairman, Liam's group has shifted the date of their launching. It would be happening tomorrow not in two days"
Adrian's gaze darkened "Leave it, Sean, tune your attention to the design team and make sure they finish up faster"
"But sir, what about Liam's group, the moment they launch their laptop before us, it might cause problems for our company's sales"
"How many percentage of loss?"
"About two percent sir"
"Leave it"
"But..."
"Leave it, Sean, focus on creating a new design" He hung up the call
"Brother needs my help?" Lucy of course had been listening to their conversations, the call was on speaker
"What can you do, Lucy?"
"Never judge a book by its cover, brother, I might be able to do many things" she showed off her fingers which made Adrian chuckle
"Wanna try?"
"If brother permits" Adrian then turned the car the other way round, he had wanted to drop his sister home and go back to the office but since she said she wanted to try, then why not allow her?...
