Adrian looked up from the papers on his desk "What did you say?"
"The White group sent us a sample of design for the px-6" Sean reported
Huh? Elena? As far as he knows, She wasn't the type interested in computers and all stuffs talkless of creating a design for his company?
Sean too was as surprised as his boss, even though Elena White was the clingy type, she had never made an attempt on helping the Black Empire like this. It greatly was surprising
"Good, we should also prepare to launch ours tomorrow" Sean nodded
"Send back a message of appreciation...or should I do that myself" Adrian doesn't look like he was instructing an order better still whispering to himself.
Well, this one wasn't surprising to Sean as he is aware of his boss love for the White group daughter but also was good at masking his true intentions
"I would surely send them our appreciation"
"Sure, you should do that" Adrian answered as he turned his head back to his work. After Sean leaft, he rested his elbow on his desk his fingers rubbing his chin showing he was deep in thought
'Elena...you sure have changed and it is sure amazing...what do I do with you?'
He couldn't help but think of when she has asked to cutt off their engagement and suddenly she came back saying they should get married. What was this little kitten scheming?
He took his phone sending her a message
"Let's see how she reacts to this" He smirked as he went back to his work

"Make sure this time we get them sign the contract with us"
"Yes ma'am"
"You can leave, I would call you when I need you"
Instead of leaving, Megan still stood standing "Miss White?"
"What is it Megan?"
Observing the expression on Megan's face, it was obvious that she was a little hesitant in what she was about saying but the lady sitting elegantly on the chair behind that desk didn't notice as her attention was on what she was doing
"Mrs. Black has asked to see you for dinner tonight" This made Elena look up from what she was doing, "Adrian's Mother?"
Megan nodded. Elena knew why she was being called, but she had now made up her mind to eventually marry their son so there should be no problems
"Okay...prepare the car in the evening, would her son be there too?"
"Seems like she only asked to see you"
Elena chuckled "No problem" At that moment, her phone tinged showing she had a message, her brows were raised, since she had came into this novel life, she hardly got any message from anyone. That phone was just to pass time playing games
"You have a message, ma'am" Her assistant informed her but Elena wasn't ready to read any message, who would want to message her...or maybe her mum but right now she wasn't ready for that woman...
Sensing her boss wasn't ready to check her message, "I would take my leave then" Megan left...
