Akari awakens on the shores of a lake, with no memory of how she got there. She’s found by Professor Laventon, who brings her to his home in Jubilife Village. Akari soon learns that this world is not the world she once knew. Pokémon are feral monsters that can and will kill - or worse. Women are second-class citizens, viewed as objects for housework and, most importantly, breeding. How did Akari get here? How will she ever get home?
