Chapter 1: The First Wish

The flashing red and blue lights cut through the midnight rain, splashing against the walls of a deserted alleyway. Sirens wailed behind him, growing louder with every desperate step. His sneakers slapped against the puddles, soaked through, heavy—but he didn't dare slow down.

"Stop right there! Hands where I can see them!" a voice barked from behind.

The boy—Boris—kept running. His chest burned, lungs screaming for air, but adrenaline drowned out the pain. His mind raced faster than his legs.

Damn it… this is bad. Real bad.

All because of that power.

He never asked for it. One day, it simply awakened. The ability to make any wish reality. No conditions. No limits. The first time, it was an accident—wishing he wouldn't be late to school, only to find himself teleported directly into his classroom. The second time, it was on purpose—wishing he could ace an exam, and suddenly every answer filled itself in.

At first, it was fun. A secret. His secret.

But power like this never stayed hidden for long.

The world noticed. And when the world noticed, so did the authorities.

Now, he was being hunted—not as a boy, but as a weapon.

"Subject is heading east! Don't let him get away!"

Boris' heart thudded in his ears. He darted into another alley, but it was a dead end. A tall wire fence blocked his path. Beyond it, the night city stretched endlessly, but for him, it was just a cage.

He spun around. Silhouettes closed in, armed and alert. The pounding of boots echoed closer. He was cornered.

"No… no, no, no!" His breath came out ragged. His hands trembled.

Think, Boris, think! You have the power. Use it!

The problem was—he didn't know what to wish for. Freedom? Disappearance? Another teleport? Each choice had risks.

Then, through the storm of panic, a memory surfaced.

His favorite anime. His one true escape since childhood. The adventures of pirates, dreams, freedom, and the endless sea. One Piece.

He had spent countless nights marathoning episodes, rewatching arcs until dawn. Every line of dialogue, every character's dream—it all carved itself into his heart. He wanted that world. Not this cold, gray one where powers made him a target.

His lips moved before he could stop them.

"I wish… I was in the world of One Piece."

For a second, nothing happened. Just rain, sirens, and the closing footsteps.

Then, the world bent.

It was like reality itself ripped apart around him. The air folded inward, colors swirling, his body dissolving into pure light. He heard the cops shouting—then their voices vanished into static.

And Boris fell.

---

When he opened his eyes again, sunlight blinded him.

Warmth. Not the artificial glow of city lights, but genuine sunlight, spilling across his face. The air smelled of salt and sea breeze, mixed with something wild and alive.

Slowly, Boris sat up.

He was on a beach. Golden sand stretched beneath him, and waves rolled gently against the shore. Seagulls cawed overhead. Palm trees swayed in the distance.

For a long moment, he simply stared, breath caught in his throat.

"No way…" he whispered. His voice trembled.

He pinched his arm. Hard. Pain shot through. Still there. Still real.

Then, laughter bubbled out of him. First a chuckle. Then uncontrollable, giddy laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHA! I did it! I actually did it!" He threw his head back, arms spread wide. "I'm in One Piece!"

His heart pounded, but this time with joy. He jumped to his feet, spinning around. Every detail confirmed it. The bright, almost cartoonish vibrancy of the world. The strange, oversized flora. Even the odd shapes of the clouds drifting lazily in the sky.

This wasn't Earth anymore.

He fell to his knees, overwhelmed.

"All this time… I thought my power was a curse. But… it's not. It's a ticket." His hands dug into the sand, trembling. "A ticket to my dream world."

Boris stood again, fists clenched with determination. His mind raced through the possibilities.

He could meet Luffy. Zoro. Nami. He could sail the Grand Line, see Sky Islands, walk among giants. He could live the adventures he had only watched from a screen.

And with his power? He wasn't just another pirate. He could be anything. Stronger than an Admiral. Smarter than Vegapunk. He could carve his own legend.

But then a thought froze him mid-celebration.

"Wait… where exactly am I?"

The beach stretched endlessly, with a small village visible in the distance. Wooden houses, smoke rising from chimneys, people moving about.

His eyes widened. The style was familiar. Too familiar.

"No way… is that… Foosha Village?"

The little port town where it all began. The place where Monkey D. Luffy grew up. Where Shanks once stayed.

Excitement surged like fire in his veins.

"This is it. This is where it all starts."

He grinned, eyes sparkling with determination.

From a runaway in his own world to a dreamer in another, Boris had crossed the threshold. No longer hunted. No longer caged.

Now, his adventure was only beginning.

And in the world of pirates, freedom, and dreams… his wish would carve a new story across the seas.
