The Origin Plane
The arena was silent.
Valeria Dawnroot stood tall amidst the broken ground of the final battlefield, radiant with golden runes of light still swirling gently around her form. Her silver hair floated in the air, her breaths calm yet heavy from the battle.
Across the sky, the fabric of the world shimmered as a single presence descended.
Kai.
His arrival silenced even the winds. Reality itself seemed to bow.
He hovered above the stage in a robe woven from starlight and eternity. Galaxies reflected in his eyes, yet his expression was soft.
He looked down at Valeria with calm approval.
"You fought with purpose, restraint, and brilliance," Kai said, his voice echoing like a divine bell across the entire inner universe. "For that... you are worthy."
He raised his hand.
A beam of pure white descended—a condensed crystal of Origin Light, glimmering with timeless power.
"This is the Origin of Light. Not a law, not a concept—the source itself. I grant it to you, Champion Valeria, as the first to bring balance and harmony through victory."
Valeria's eyes widened. Her knees buckled. She fell to the ground, tears shimmering in her eyes.
"...My Creator," she whispered, placing her forehead to the floor. "To be honored by your hand... I, Valeria Dawnroot, vow to serve you for all my days. My light belongs to you—now and forever."
All across the universe, her words echoed.
Every race. Every champion. Every being… watched in awe and adoration as Kai gently placed a single finger on her forehead, blessing her with the Origin of Light. Her aura exploded in brilliance, and the glow of her ascension lit up the sky.

Moments Later – The First World
Kai stood alone now, gazing over the expanse of his first world.
A flick of his hand. A ripple in the void.
The world expanded.
From a floating continent to a world as vast as a solar system—a thousand times greater than it once was. Moons formed, seas widened, mountains reshaped themselves into godlike spires.
And yet... it still felt unfinished.
Kai stared at it for a long moment.
"I never named this place," he murmured.
Then a gentle voice filled the air—Ema, the ever-loyal system spirit.
> [Ema: Before, you could not. Your Origin Bloodline was sealed. Now… it is yours to name.]
Kai smiled.
"Then let it be called…"
His eyes glowed. Reality froze.
"The Origin Plane."
The moment he spoke, the universe reacted.
> [System Notification: The Origin Plane has been named.]
[It shall now reside at the center of your Inner Universe.]
[All creation will orbit the Origin.]
All beings in Kai's inner universe dropped to their knees, swept by an overwhelming wave of reverence.
They didn't need to be told.
The Creator had named his Throne.

> [Ema: At this level… you are the tutorial.]
Kai chuckled. "Let's begin work on the other planets. I want life on them—evolution, culture, growth."
> [Ema: Of course, Creator. I'll begin modeling ecosystems and evolution trees—wait.]
She paused.
> [Sophie Silver is currently outside your house. She's… ringing the doorbell.]
Kai blinked.
"…What?"
He turned toward the outer world's interface, where the surveillance cam blinked.
Sure enough.
Sophie stood at his front door, awkwardly pressing the bell over and over again, holding something behind her back.
Kai sighed… and smiled.
"Guess it's time I stepped outside for a bit."
The Origin Plane pulsed behind him like a living sun—newly named, newly expanded, its infinite potential stretching across the inner cosmos. But now, Kai stood once again before the modest door of his Earth home.
Ding-dong.
The chime felt oddly nostalgic after rewriting reality itself.
He opened the door.
Sophie Silver stood there, flame-touched hair cascading down her back, her silver eyes wide—but disciplined. She wore the uniform of a top-tier academy student, but the aura around her screamed something else entirely: diplomacy mixed with danger.
Kai raised a brow. "Sophie. What do you want?"
She exhaled, then stepped forward. "Everyone's seen the footage, Kai. The fight with Elren Voss. The way you moved, the power you used—it's gone viral across the awakened world. Every major faction is either terrified or intrigued."
Kai leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. "And you?"
"I'm here on behalf of the Silver Family."
He blinked. "To spy?"
"To recruit," she corrected. "My grandmother, the High Matriarch, believes you could change everything. She sent me personally to extend an offer."
"And if I say no?"
Sophie hesitated. "Then others will come. And not all of them will be as... diplomatic."
Kai said nothing.
Sophie stepped closer, lowering her voice. "You don't understand what you've stepped into. The Council, the cults, the Orders—they're all watching. The Silver Family can shield you. Train you. Give you resources. Influence."
She paused. "We're not just offering you power—we're offering you safety."
Kai looked into her eyes—flickers of sincerity, fear, ambition.
"And what do you think, Sophie?"
She glanced away for the briefest moment. "I think... if you join us, the world might survive what's coming."
Kai's silence was deep—like the pause between seconds in a stopped clock.
Then he turned slightly, letting the door stay open just a crack. "Come in. We'll talk."
Sophie stepped into the small living room, her eyes briefly scanning the space. Neat, minimal. There was no trace of the godlike being who had shaken the world's power balance. Just Kai—barefoot, calm, unreadable.
She sat on the edge of the couch, straight-backed like she was in a war room.
Kai poured himself water. "You said your family wants to recruit me. Why send you?"
She folded her arms. "Because I've seen you before anyone else did. I was there when you awakened. I felt it."
"That doesn't answer the question."
Sophie sighed. "Because I'm not a stranger to you. And because the Matriarch believes I may be the only one you won't vaporize for getting too close."
Kai sipped his water, then sat across from her. "Flattering."
Sophie leaned forward. "Let me be clear, Kai. The Silver Family isn't trying to own you. We can't. But we can help you. If you join, you'll have access to classified training grounds, ancient law archives, even sealed flame cores from the original Anok bloodline. Resources most awakeners only dream about."
Kai tilted his head. "And in exchange?"
"A name. An alliance. You wear our crest, and the world assumes we're on the same side. That gives you protection... and us, prestige."
Kai smiled faintly. "So I become your shield—and your banner."
Sophie didn't deny it.
"You're being honest," Kai said, leaning back. "That's rare."
"I'm being practical," she replied. "This world doesn't treat anomalies kindly. You're not just a powerful student, Kai. You're a walking threat. To some, you're a weapon. To others, a god. The factions won't wait forever to see which."
He stood, gaze distant for a moment.
"Tell your Matriarch," Kai said, "that I appreciate the offer. But I don't align with houses. I build legacies."
Sophie stood as well, her expression unreadable.
"That may be the same thing in the end," she said softly. "Whether you accept or not, the Silver Clan will watch. And I—" she hesitated "—I will stand with you. When it matters."
Kai nodded, his voice cool and certain. "Then I hope you're ready. Because everything changes from this point on."
Outside, the world stirred with tension.
And behind Sophie's departure... others were already drawing near.
