Kai sat in his divine palace, the envelope from the Awakened Council still open before him. His mind drifted, replaying the last seven days like a cascade of memories. Though in the outside world barely a week had passed, inside the Origin Plane, time flowed differently. Seventy thousand years had poured into his inner universe, and it had grown far beyond his early imaginings.
It was no longer just a collection of Law Worlds; it had expanded to the scale of a small galaxy cluster—a domain housing 10,000 galaxies, each teeming with billions of civilizations. Ema had explained the structure to him: the universe was divided into sectors, filaments, superclusters, galaxy clusters, galaxies, star systems, and planets. His first galaxy, birthed shortly after his discussion with Ema seven days ago, contained the Origin Plane and the six Law Worlds. He named it Primordial Galaxy, a fittingly flashy title for his first creation.
But the universe had not grown in scale alone. Kai had tested and honed every aspect of his abilities. The Origin Creation skill had evolved under his relentless practice, its capacity to spawn and shape life, matter, and laws far exceeding what he had first imagined. He had created the Origin Knights, primordial protectors of the inner universe, their power ranging from God King to Origin Deity levels, with Valeria Dawnroot standing as the most potent being of all—second only to Kai himself.
Beyond that, Kai had forged entire races to inhabit his universe: Celestials, Oroboros, and other mighty civilizations, each with unique power systems, philosophies, and potential for growth. Planets were categorized now, based on their strength and potential: Low Tier (Levels 1–3), Mid Tier (1–3), High Tier (1–3), and Legendary/Supreme worlds, giving the civilizations and their laws an organized framework for progression.
Kai had also been scouting powerful abilities from mortal media—manga, novels, and legends—seeking inspiration for his next creations. From that, he had conceived two of his greatest masterpieces: Heal and Deal, and Cleave.
Heal and Deal: A defensive-offensive hybrid. Near-immortal, it reflects all forms of damage inflicted upon the user back to the attacker. No matter the scale—physical, magical, cosmic, or even conceptual—the damage reverses.
Cleave: A katana summoned from Kai's own soul. Its power grows with his mastery:
Cleave Level 1: Compresses an entire planet into the size of a katana, which Kai can summon to strike anything.
Cleave Level 2: Compresses an entire solar system into the katana, wieldable and capable of cutting through nearly any barrier.
Cleave Level 3: Compresses an entire galaxy, including all laws, concepts, and phenomena within it, into the katana.
Cleave Level 4+: Expands to larger cosmic or abstract structures, with strength limited only by Kai's own power and will.
These two abilities alone made Kai feel the weight of his own divinity. The inner universe had expanded exponentially, and his statistics—never before fully checked—had grown beyond what he could easily comprehend. Just imagining his full potential sent a shiver down his spine, though he would delay seeing the precise numbers for now.
