New York, In a Warehouse 10:11 pm

"Kill that bitch!" an angry thug shouted to his men, who obeyed his order.

BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAMBAM BAM BAMBAMBAM BAMBAM BAMBAMBAM.

A 27-year-old woman with black hair and light eyes, wearing a white T-shirt, a black leather jacket, semi-tight jeans, and black boots, was kicking a table to use it as a barrier against the bullets that hit it.

-"Ugh fuck, what a mess" -Jessica Jones, private detective, thought with a serious expression on her face.

How did she end up in this situation? Let's just say the detective has been on the trail of the New York mafia, better known as the Maggia, led by a man named Hammerhead, for some time now. She's been following him for a few months, leading her to this abandoned warehouse in the city.

She knew she was playing a dangerous game. Even a certain Hell's Kitchen lawyer offered to help her if things got out of hand, but the brunette laughed in his face and denied the help with rather sweet words. Now she finds herself in trouble.

"Shoot! Just shoot!" the boss said, keeping Jessica busy. "We have to get the cargo out of here!"

In the end, he found the place, seeing a truck loaded with drugs firsthand, but he wished he'd used more orthodox methods when entering and hadn't kicked down the door so hard, creating a pitched battle between a handful of men and a single angry woman. Hearing them load their weapons, she saw her opportunity.

"Take this, you sons of bitches!" Jessica exclaimed, standing up and pushing the table with her foot hard, causing it to crash into four guys who screamed as they saw a table fly towards them and crash into a wall, cracking it in the process.

What these idiots didn't know was that after an accident involving chemical compounds, she had acquired a lot of strength.

The thugs were quite scared because they thought the woman was some kind of freak and that the more they shot, Jessica blocked the bullets with some object or another, making it difficult to hit her.

"Idiots," Jessica muttered to herself.

"What are we going to do?! The bitch just broke into our workplace," said a thug, reloading his gun.

-Let's get out of here, I won't die for that woman -The other scared man answers and was about to leave if it weren't for another thug who grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and crashed into the ground, making him groan in pain.

Don't be a coward!! We have to get the job done or else the boss will kill all three of us he said, quite annoyed, letting go of his shirt.

Jessica just snapped her fingers with a Machiavellian smile and a smile that promised pain.

-Don't run away! You'll only feel this tomorrow.

Several guys continued shooting until Jessica, taking a large concrete pipe, threw it towards the group of guys who started shooting again, along with them was the boss in charge of the warehouse who paled at seeing the Hulk-like strength of the woman.

"TAKE COVER!" the chief shouted as he jumped to the side and watched in horror as the tube plunged into the ground, sending several of the screaming men flying.

The chief just backed away from the ground as he watched in horror as his men scattered, but then he bumped into something behind him and looked up to meet Jessica's unimpressed stare and quickly turned around.

-"HE'S A MONSTER!"-the guy thought, but Jessica grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up like he was a doll.

"What do you want from us, woman?! D-Don't you know who you're messing with?" he yelled at the woman, who shook her head slightly.

"I know who I'm messing with and it's not like I care," Jessica replied in a serious tone that gave the man a few chills.

-Let-Let me go!!! Please don't kill me, I'll give you everything you want, but don't hurt me -said the manager, quite scared.

"First I want to know where the idiot who hired you for the job is hiding," Jessica said, slamming him against the wall without removing her hand from the thug's neck,

-1-1 can't do it if I say it, he's going to kill me-He answers haltingly since he was short of breath.

To which Jessica only tightened her grip.

Something worse will happen to you if you don't speak up now!

The guy was about to speak, but then a red and blue figure came through the warehouse window and landed in the faces of two men who were about to shoot the detective in the back.

"Here's Spidey!" exclaimed the figure in a red and blue spandex suit with a spider in the middle. "Oh? How could they start without me? Break the spider's heart."

"It can't be the spider!" A thug exclaimed angrily, pointing his gun at the aforementioned man.

"What the hell are you doing here?" the other asks, not understanding.

-Answering your two questions, gentlemen, I was passing through the neighborhood and heard some loud gunshots Spidey said and then looked at the brunette-Miss, don't worry, I'll take care of the guys, in the meantime go to a safe place.

That comment left the detective perplexed, and a few questions popped into her mind: first, who was this clown in a Halloween costume? And second, what was he doing here, interrupting her investigation?

Her thoughts were interrupted as a few thugs suddenly appeared and Jessica assumed that the guy in charge of transporting drugs was the one who called them.

Speaking of which, that guy was no longer there, to the woman's surprise, who still didn't believe that the person who was going to reveal Hammerhead's location would escape her, which made her angry and she hit the wall with her fist.

And all because of that red tights guy.

-Seriously, miss, you should leave here, this place is not safe-said the arachnid standing in front of the woman

Jessica stared at the spider with white eyes, she laughed lightly and then took Spider-Man by the shoulder and squeezed him tightly and the spider then felt true terror when he saw the detective's dead look.

-I don't know who you are nor am I interested in your cheap hero game or whatever you're doing-Jessica said while her murderous gaze hit Spidey in the face-Explain to me, how will I fix the mess you made?

-"Oh shit" -Was the thought of the century of the spider who was sweating cold.

At that, Peter's spider sense is activated, warning him of some danger and it was the thugs who started shooting, which Spidey pushes Jessica to the ground, managing to evade the bullets. Now the problem was to stop them, which the spider would take care of.

-I, um, excuse me, but I can't answer you. I have to take care of the bad guys. -Spidey said, getting up from the ground to shoot several spider webs at the guys' guns.

From there he snatches them, so he kicks a thug hard, knocking him to the ground, but one of them hits Spidey, who doesn't expect that. Spider-sense, where are you?

Meanwhile Jessica was secretly watching the spider who was having some difficulties in defeating the thugs and she deduced that he was not someone trained and that he was new in the business.

-"Don't tell me he's just a rookie," the detective thought before leaping into action.

"You have the right to remain silent!" Spidey exclaimed, sending one flying before receiving another blow to the back of the head, "Ouch."

The spider waited for more, but then she heard grunts and the sounds of clean blows. When she opened her eyes, she could only watch in disbelief as Jessica battled three men. They literally couldn't handle her.

One received a kick in the balls, another had his nose broken with a headbutt, and the last one had his hand twisted, causing him to let out a cry of pain, only to be silenced with a punch to the nose that ended up breaking it

There Jessica connected glances with the spider.

"Oh no" Spidey thought as he saw Jessica approaching him.

-"Oh no" Spidey thought as he saw Jessica approaching him.

The arachnid takes a few steps back but ends up stumbling a little, even sa the woman took him by the shoulders and then pushed him against the wall and Peter felt a slight pain in his back but he didn't care about that.

At his front was a woman of immense strength, he couldn't believe it! And he thought she was just an ordinary citizen caught in the crossfire, but boy was he wrong. Now he felt more afraid than he had when he fought against Toomes, aka the Vulture.

The woman had a somewhat gloomy yet penetrating look, making Spidy unable to articulate a word, apparently he was in trouble without realizing it.

-"How is it possible that a woman like her has that strength?"-Peter thought with that question in his head

"Tell me, brat, what are you doing out of bed? Aren't you late to go to sleep?" Jessica asked sarcastically, and the arachnid gave a fake cough.

"I'm not a brat. I'm 30 and a half!" Peter said, believing she would believe him,

"It doesn't help your case," the detective said. "Let me be blunt, why did you ruin my investigation?"

Oh, that was bad.

"I had no idea you were involved in an investigation! I thought you were a kidnapped woman, and I jumped in without thinking."

Jessica just laughed somewhat incredulously at what she was hearing, What kind of joke was this?

-For Jesus Christ's sake, you're seriously more of an idiot than I thought-The black-haired woman spoke- I wasn't kidnapped, I was solving a case that I've been working on for 3 months and you just ruined it, I really appreciate it.

The arachnid didn't know what to say to that and just looked down for a moment, feeling guilty about what he had just done. Once again, he had done something stupid, but it wasn't his fault. How could he know? He was just a teenager.

-Bu-But there are several guys here who can surely tell you something-The spider answers, sounding a little more animated.

The detective just shook her head, staring at him so coldly that it gave the boy from Queens a bad feeling, and he saw how she pointed at the knocked-out thugs on the ground.

"Those idiots aren't the person I'm looking for, they're from another gang," Jessica replies seriously. "And secondly, the person who was in charge of this dump escaped from my hands when you showed up..."

-I-I'm really sorry, miss-Said the arachnid getting up from the ground-"I screwed up again" Thought the spider scratching his head now pondering what to do.

"Sorry? Don't tell me that's the best thing you can say," Jessica said, annoyed. "You've ruined everything! What a nosy kid."

"Hey! I had no idea what was going on, my bad, the spider defended himself, arms crossed.

-"Ugh, what am I going to do now..." The detective said in her mind, now pondering what the next step would be after today's fiasco.

"We could help her find the guy she's looking for," Spidey said with that enthusiasm he had.

.

.

"Excuse me? I'm sorry, but I don't work with children and idiots like you," Jessica replies, not at all in agreement with the idea. She liked working alone, and she wouldn't put a minor at risk; it was too dangerous.

"I'm not a child, I'm already an adult," Peter said with some annoyance in his voice, something that not even the woman believed at all.

"Your voice, your physique, and your inexperience give you away," Jessica said. "You must be around 15 or 17 years old to fit the profile I created for you."

-"How did she do it?!" Spidey thought, his eyes wide open. He was amazed at how this woman had guessed his age without even seeing his face. It was incredible.

"I'm not offering you my help believing that you can't find them," the spider explained. "I just believe that two heads are better than one."

"I refuse. I won't bring a child into this." The brunette tacitly denied. "It would only complicate things."

"I'm not a kid! I stopped an arms trafficking ring that was running for over five years, so that should be enough on my resume for you," Spiderman declared.

Jessica stared at his face with a dead look, she was now analyzing what to do seeing that the spider was so stubborn about wanting to interfere with her work.

"No, so go home because I'm sure your parents must be worried," Jessica said, turning around to go to the exit, but the arachnid got in front of her.

Seriously, that stupid kid was very insistent and he didn't even know the word, the brunette thought.

-Please, miss, so I can fix the mistake I made - Spidey said in a pleading tone - And if we manage to catch that guy, I promise not to interfere in your life anymore and leave you alone.

-Tsk shit-Jessica clicked her tongue and sighed, were all teenagers this stubborn?- I wouldn't recommend you do it, it's dangerous.

I know Spidey explained. But... it's not even because I want to fix my mistake, I just want to help you because I know that when we stop these guys, I know we'll be doing everyone a favor, so please, let me help you, miss.

Jessica fell silent again, something the boy said didn't really move her because it was corny, but she had to give him credit for being someone determined.

"Okay, now you're in, but you'll do what I say, and without protesting, understood?" Jessica said, crossing her arms and looking at the spider boy with seriousness in her eyes.

Peter just raises his fist in victory, to Jessica's puzzled look, who thinks she made a bad decision and that she would regret it in the end, but seeing her spider powers, maybe it will help her.

-Wohoo!! Seriously, thank you, miss. I assure you I won't let you down. -Peter said with some emotion, and it was quite noticeable.

-Whatever...- Jessica muttered as she left the place-See you...

"Wait!" the spider exclaimed, causing the detective to turn around, annoyed.

"What?" the woman asks.

.... Your name is? - Spidey said sadly and the woman just rolled her eyes.

"You're joking, aren't you?" Seeing the spider shake its head, she simply shook her head and sighed. "Jessica Jones, private detective."

"And I'm Spider-Man," the spider said, puffing out his chest proudly. "Or just Spidey. Nice to meet you, Jess."

-If whatever you say...I'll contact you later if something comes up - Jessica said in a disinterested tone as she walked towards the exit.

"Okay, I'll wait for your call!" he shouted, seeing that the woman had left the place.

Wait a minute, what would I call him if I didn't have his number? Now I was beyond screwed. How could I have forgotten that detail? I was sure they might never see each other again, and that all his offers of help had been in vain.

-(sighs) Since I think she can do it alone and she's super strong-He said to himself and shoots a spider web leaving the warehouse.

The arachnid was on the roof of a building near the warehouse where the shooting occurred and met Jessica. He looked at the time and saw that it was 11 pm.

-Damn...I have school tomorrow and I have to go to sleep - Spidey thought-Well the spider will take a long rest, it has been an intense night...

Later.

Spider-Man, just like a spider, went to his apartment, where thank God his Aunt May was asleep, opened the window of his room and climbed up the ceiling, to fall to the ground like a cat and take off his mask, showing his brown hair, half sweaty from the intensity he experienced today.

Geez, what a crazy night And it wasn't that bad, today he met a woman whose investigation he ruined and now she had offered her help to fix what was damaged.

-Well... I just hope this doesn't bite me in the ass-He thought as he fell face first onto his pillow and fell asleep instantly, seeing that he had school tomorrow.

Unaware that it would only be the beginning of a series of events that would initiate a sort of Batman and Robin-like working relationship between him and Jones.

Hell's Kitchen, Jones' Office 11:36 pm

"That was a disaster," Jessica snorted in her office, finishing her second beer to try and force herself to relax after a series of cursed events.

All because of a hormonal boy at a sleepover, she snorted, Jessica had heard rumors of a spider-boy who stopped an alien arms trafficking ring a while back, but she hadn't imagined she would run into him in any capacity,

That was pure chance, and now I was analyzing what to do.

Although to be honest, Jessica being a detective and her job was to solve cases, she sat up straight and then took out a folder with the name "SPIDER-MAN"

That brat may have ruined his investigation, but he awakened something. dangerous he hadn't realized, and it was Jessica Jones's curiosity.

-You'll see, little bastard, I'll find out who you really are... - The woman told herself as she typed on her laptop looking for more information about the wall-crawler and she won't sleep tonight.

He was looking at reports and some news about the arachnid, which were many, but there were only a few images of the boy being seen by people, apparently he was someone reserved when it came to cameras.

He also entered Clarin publications where a certain Jonah Jameson, only hurled insults at the arachnid. Honestly, he was a grumpy old man, but in the end, it's not like he cared about the young hero's life either.

He drank a third beer, continuing his investigation, and the more he searched, the more he learned about the feats he performed, and to Jessica's surprise, he discovered something very interesting.

There were some videos at the airport in Germany where Captain America was fighting Iron-Man, but he wasn't interested in that fight, but rather in Spider-Man's, where he was seen tangling the legs of a certain Giant-Man to knock him down. He showed another video where the spider, so to speak, humiliated the Winter Soldier and Falcon.

"Interesting..." thought Jessica, who was now wondering how those videas got on the Internet. "Let's see...bingo..."

Jessica leaned back in her chair and smiled slightly.

Midtown High School, 10:00am

Peter Parker yawned for the umpteenth time in his sleep. After a long night, the last thing he wanted to do was go to class and endure Flash's insults first thing in the morning.

-Ugh, my luck sucks" Peter thought, complaining, scratching his eyes.

The boy looked at the time on his cell phone to see if there was anything interesting, but nothing. He was in biology class and to be honest, he didn't care much since he actually knew almost everything.

Next to him was Ned, his best friend and the man in the chair, who was looking intently at the class, and behind him was Michelle Jones, who was drawing some things in her notebook and apparently drawing Parker's face without realizing it.

On the other hand, Flash Thompson was playing pranks, bothering one of the students as he usually does every day, Peter just prayed that classes would end so he could go out on patrol like Spiderman.

"I wonder what Miss Jones is doing?" Peter thought, staring at the blackboard, even though he wasn't paying attention to the class. "And that Hammerhead guy sounds dangerous."

-Psst Pete hey are you okay? - Asked the low voice of Ned Leeds, Peter's best friend, the brown-haired boy just nodded with a grimace.

Ned didn't seem very confident in his answer but didn't elaborate on the matter while Peter was really bored.

He looked out his living room window at the outskirts of the city only to choke when he saw a dark-haired female figure wearing a black leather. jacket, semi-tight jeans, and matching boots.

"WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?!" The brunette thought now with his mind going a mile a minute watching Jessica Jones with an expression of curiosity and half disgust at seeing the school.

"Mr. Parker, what if you paid attention to your reading instead of the window?" the teacher asked, and some people laughed at Peter's expression when he was caught.

"S-Sorry." Peter squeaked as he turned his gaze to Jessica's figure, who was yawning boredly until she raised her eyes to meet Peter's, making his heart freeze.

She smiled in a Machiavellian way and her spine felt an imminent chill.

"Because I have a feeling something bad is going to happen?" Peter thought, staring at the blackboard, trying to ignore the woman. Jessica still hasn't stopped staring at him.

I had no idea what she was doing standing there, maybe she was looking for someone else who studied here and it was just a coincidence that she was in the same school as her, if it has to be that, what else could it be?

-Calm down, Peter, don't panic, maybe she's here looking for someone else, it's not that bad-He said to himself-Anyway, she wouldn't recognize me because I wore my suit last night...it's impossible for her to know who I am.

Peter was sweating cold and just hyperventilating, his hands were sweaty and there were a thousand unanswered questions in his head about why that woman was at his school, if her white knuckles were any indication of anything.

The reading of the material continued but the poor pubescent boy could barely concentrate, he dared to look at the window again only to feel his eyes dilate with panic when he saw how Jessica had a photo of Spider-Man but it was a blurry image of him during the civil war, one where his back was shown but he didn't have his mask, the camera hadn't captured his face at all but then he saw how the woman's lips moved.

"You're Spiderman, aren't you?"

-"impossible..." The brunette thought, coughing slightly, drawing attention, but everyone ignored him and continued with class.

To avoid problems, the boy decided to make a move that would make him miss class, but he didn't care; outside there was a woman who knew his identity and didn't want to answer several of his questions... all he could do was run away....

"Ned, I need to go to the bathroom. I'm not feeling well. Can you copy my notes for me?" the brunette asks his friend politely.

-Um, sure, fatso, no problem-Ned said, a little surprised by his friend who looked nervous and something was wrong, but he didn't want to ask him-

"Pro-Professor!!!" Peter said, raising his hand to get the attention of the aforementioned professor, who turned around. "Can I go to the bathroom? I don't feel so well..."

Oh, fine, but don't be long, Parker the teacher answers with a certain hesitation, continuing with the class.

Peter gets up from his desk and leaves the classroom. He hurried through the school hallways. He couldn't go straight to the exit because Jessica was sure to be waiting for him there, so he went to the back as a last resort. It was a good plan, after all.

Peter with his bag in a demonic grip ran towards the back of the school, more specifically to the emergency exit at the back of Midtown, using his great speed, he ran through the hallways with sweat running down his forehead and back.

Maybe the school would tell her aunt that she ran away, but all those worries vanished when she saw the emergency exit with her face lit up.

"FREEDOM!" -Peter thought, slamming the exit door and closing it while he tried to catch his breath, knowing that it was practically impossible for the woman to reach him on this side of the school.

"I see you tried too hard to escape," said a familiar voice behind him, causing Peter to freeze and slowly turn to look at the figure of an unimpressed Jessica, who was frowning.

B-But...you...what...what are you doing here? -The brown-haired boy asked, extremely nervous.

"What? I studied here, idiot, and just because of that I know every way out of this flea market like the back of my hand," Jessica replied.

"THEY MUST BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!" Peter thought, wanting to shout it from the rooftops, but he prefers to do it internally so as not to attract attention.

The brunette sighs and takes Peter's arm, who tries to break free from Jones's grip, but just looking into her eyes was like seeing hell itself. Peter doesn't do something stupid or things could get worse.

"Where are you taking me?" Peter asks, somewhat shyly. "And second, how the hell did you know where I studied?"

"Oh, so you're not going to deny that you're Spider-Man, are you?" she asked, turning her gaze toward the young man from Queens.

Peter fell immediately, that was true, he looked at her as she dragged him like a sack of potatoes, he just wondered how she had discovered his identity.

"If you ask me how I discovered your identity," Jessica said, "I think you need to be more careful where you leave your bags scattered all over Queens. There was a notebook that said "Peter Parker," and it wasn't hard to follow the trail back here."

"I WANT TO KILL MYSELF!" Obviously that was it.

How could he have forgotten that? Peter had a bad habit of always going on patrol and leaving his bags scattered throughout the city. He was so careless that he'd left one of his notebooks marked for anyone to find and put the pieces together. Although he's kind of grateful it was Jessica than anyone else who had done it. Otherwise, he'd be in danger.

But that didn't make him any less scared. Will she take him to the authorities. for being a superhero and a minor? If so, he'd have serious problems with his Aunt May, and also with Stark or Happy. He can already imagine the scandal that's coming.

Twenty minutes passed where they both arrived at a small park, it was empty at this time and Jessica throws Peter on a bench while he prayed to God that she would not report him or reveal his secret identity.

-I beg you, miss, don't tell anyone who I am... everyone I know will be in danger if they know I'm Spiderman - Peter said with a pleading look.

On the other hand, Jessica, instead of feeling sorry or anything like that, is just a little bothered by the brunette's attitude and bluntly says the following to Parker.

"Are you stupid or what?" That surprised Peter, who stepped back a little. "I don't give a damn about your age, although I do consider you too young to do certain things, but you've proven that you're capable of taking on anyone. Didn't you take the shield off the national symbol of this damn country? Or how you defeated two highly skilled guys without even breaking a sweat? Not only that, you stopped an arms trafficking ring; give yourself credit, mallas, you've got a good resume."

Peter blushed so furiously at being praised in that way that he lowered his face to prevent her from seeing his reddened cheekbones.

"... You need more training, though." Jessica snorted, taking his arm again. "After the shit you pulled yesterday, you could have almost died, stupid kid."

"I don't see you doing much to make less of a mess yesterday either!" the brunette complained, a vein popping out in his forehead.

"Details," Jessica said, making notions with her hand.

Anyway...I...didn't expect this to happen to me... Peter said sincerely-So you won't tell anyone about my identity, right?

"I already told you I won't tell, and what do I gain by doing so?" Jessica replies in the same serious tone. "Actually, it was a stroke of luck to have found you."

"Why do you say that?" Peter asks curiously.

"Because this way, we can talk about the Hammerhead thing," the woman said. "But first, I want you to answer a few questions for me..."

"What kind of questions?" Peter said.

"If I'm going to work with you, which will be temporary, I have to know about you," Jessica said, sitting on the bench next to the arachnid.

"What for? You already know who I am. I don't need to tell you about my private life, Peter said, arms crossed.

"Don't be stubborn. Tell me what I need to more or less trust you," Jessica said, rolling her eyes.

....I don't know what you want me to tell you; I've been Spider-Man for a few months now, I got my powers thanks to a spider bite - Peter said, looking away.

You got your powers from a spider bite? That's unoriginal.

-Don't interrupt me; as I was saying, I got my powers from a field trip to Oscorp, and thanks to that spider bite, I got my powers. My senses went through the roof. I have more agility and strength, and it also gave me the body of an athlete.

-"I see..." Jessica thought, looking at Peter's body, slightly uncomfortable.

-And... I don't know what else to tell you, the only thing would be that he went to the civil war with The Avengers and I helped catch Adrian Toomes, ending his reign of more than five years, but everyone knows that. -Peter said, arms crossed.

Well, I think that will do (I'll figure out the rest later, I'm good at it after all) Jones thought about the last thing and turned to look at Peter-

"I have a question... who is this Hammerhead guy really?" Peter asked, wanting to know a little about the guy.

"Hammerhead is the main boss of the NY mafia," Jessica explained briefly, causing the brunette to open his eyes slightly. "I've been on his trail for a while, and I almost got him, but a nosy spider messed up my plans a bit, and now I have to start over."

"Don't blame me for everything!" Peter exclaimed indignantly, arms crossed.

"You weren't subtle about going after him either!"

-But I handled the situation better.

"Personally, no, you didn't," Peter said in the typical defiant tone every teenager has.

-"That's why I hate teenagers," Jessica thought, annoyed, running a hand over her face while sighing,

"So what are we going to do now to catch him?" Peter asks again.

"First, I need to figure out what their next move will be," Jessica replies in her usual serious tone. "Second, I'll call you if I find anything..."

"Do you have my number yet?" Peter asked, raising an eyebrow.

It's not necessary, I'll find a way to contact you...but let's be discreet when we meet up the woman explained You can do it, can't you?

"Of course I can do it, I'm always discreet, Peter replied with a slight smile.

"I doubt that a little, seeing your performance last night," the poker faced detective thought simply, then sighed.

Jessica nodded, but something inside her just said, "Things just got interesting," as she looked at Peter Parker, her new "Robin," in a way.

The woman got up from the bench and Peter did the same, while Jessica looked around and paid attention to the young man.

-Well, I have to go, do me a favor and don't do anything stupid until I call you - Jessica said mockingly to the brunette who made a slight pout.

"You must be an expert at that..." Peter said, playing along with the joke even though it might cost him his life.

But to Peter's relief, Jessica just snorted half-laughing at the spider's words and glared at him slightly.

"See you, tights," Jessica said as she headed straight home.

-Um, yeah, see you Jess-Peter said, making the brunette stop slightly, she murmured under her breath "Jess?"

She shook her head and walked away, disappearing into the crowd, and the brunette sat back down on the bench to place his hands in front of him in a "thinking" pose.

-I don't know why, but I feel like my luck will bite me in the ass sooner or later... Damn luck Parker, I hope it doesn't attack me..

Let's just say it's the start of some complications in the spider's life that not even Peter Parker could explain to himself.

Change of scene (unknown location)

A man with a light beard walked toward a dark room, so to speak. The only light was a spotlight. Beneath it, a person was sitting at a table reviewing what appeared to be warehouse plans. The bearded man seemed nervous whenever he was around his "boss," and he'll be even more so when he tells him what happened last night with the drug transport.

"I notice you're nervous," the guy at the desk said in a deep voice, making the bearded man gulp a little.

-E-Ehm, I have bad news for you s-sir...

W-Well... the drug shipment that was supposed to leave NY yesterday w-was ambushed and couldn't reach its destination.

The person at the desk simply stood up, took a bottle of a very high-quality whiskey out of his drawer, then poured it into his elegant glass and downed the entire contents in one gulp to calm himself.

"Are you telling me one of my subsidiaries failed to make a delivery? I mean, you're my best man. Besides the fact that this is damaging my reputation, what happened?" he asked in a normal tone, if not for the fact that the bearded man was trembling and watching the glass in his boss's hand steadily crack.

-1-1 can explain! - The guy exclaimed nervously. - J-Jessica Jones and Spider-Man attacked the warehouse yesterday! T-The detective is looking for him!

The person then leaned forward, revealing his face; the face of the fearsome Hammerhead, who smashed his glass against the desk, shattering it into a thousand pieces, causing the subject to step back.

"You mean... a woman who can barely stand on her own two feet and the rookie who took out Toomes interfered with my plans? Is that what you mean?"

-Y-Yes! I'm so sorry, boss! I swear this won't happen again!

Hammerhead just snapped his fingers for two guards to enter the office and take the guy by the arms and drag him out of the office. I know because you're fired, I hope you know what that means.

-NO! WAITI G-GIVE ME ANOTHER CHANCE!!!

But it wasn't over yet, as the door closed, leaving Hammerhead with a literal headache. He sat down in his chair and took two photos out of his drawer: one of Jessica Jones and the other, a blurry one, of a boy in tights swinging. between the buildings of New York.
