Chapter 14 - WEAPONS AND FIRST CHOICE OF TRAINING TECHNIQUE

The three techniques had surprisingly simple names, Stomp the earth, Five Short Destruction sword art and the Peach bow art. All of these three can help you train to the entry level of the destruction rule. Destruction is depicted by violence so choose carefully.

Wesley read through the arts and was startled at how complicated they were for just mortal grade spell techniques.

The Stomp the earth spell technique needed a body to be strong enough. It did not rely on any weapon just the body. The hands or fists could also be used to train in this technique. You had to train the feet or hands to be as strong as a weapon treasure in order not to suffer backlashes.

The five short destruction sword art needed you to have five swords to complete a matrix. Once the matrix was arranged well, it would release a destruction ray that destroyed everything in its path.

The Peach bow art needed one to be able to have a condensed soul at the infant stage because it needed the use of divine sense.

'Divine sense, divine sense so that is why my mind has been clear and can process tings faster, it is because of the divine sense. ' Wesley muttered in wonder.

'I choose the Five Short Destruction sword art and the Peach bow art.' Wesley finally chose and old Tresse.

'Good choice, the bow art will help kill and destroy your enemies from far and the sword art will train you in close combat.' Tresse shouted out in happiness.

'But you still need another technique in case you can not solve a problem. You need a body movement technique to either help you run away or to chase enemies.''

The scroll changed again and another spell technique named 'Earth Walk' popped on it.

'This technique was created using the displacement rule of the earth element so it will help in understanding this rule' it explained.

'And for your bloodline, lets start with the minor healing technique. I got this from a warrior in another world.'

Tresee snapped its fingers and this time a small scroll appeared in front of him. It threw the scroll towards him which enlarged to fit in his hands.

Wesley unfolded it and read through it. This technique needed one to meditate on the growth pulse rule and then introduce the spiritual aura of the rule into his body. The aura would then be infused into the blood line which would to activate it and as more spiritual aura was absorbed, the bloodline would grow in strength.

'The best thing about this technique is that it can both heal others and your self. And aren't healers in demand right now, you can become one to earn benefits and credits. The more you heal, the more you will understand the growth pulse rule which in turn will make your bloodline grow leading to you gaining affinity in the rest of the life rules.' Tresse spoke proudly.

Wesley felt emotionally touched. This is what it meant for a person to have an elder in a family who understood and planned for the family. He did not understand but he had began to think of Tresee as an elder who cared for him.

'The training space will not cater for you to practice in the strengthening of the bloodline because this space is full of the earth element. You will have to practice when you leave. Now lets go to the training space.' Tresse warned

It then snapped its fingers and they disappeared. They arrived in an area full of hanging and floating flat stones. Some were small and others so big you could build houses on them.

'This space is meant for you to start training in bow arts. If you look down there are moving beasts that make this place home. They are called Pit Beasts, they are quite dumb but love fighting and are hard to kill. These will be you targets while training in the peach bow art.' Tresse explained in a firm tone.

Wesley saw a lot of beasts that he could not name. They had long curled horns on their heads with stone clubs in their hands. Their brown bodies looked like they were made of stone.

'You will have to also fight them one on one if you want to learn anything of the sword art. As for the earth walk you will have to go back to the enlightenment space for that since it needs you to understand some partial parts of the displacement rule.'

Tresse waved his little palm and an intricate bow appeared floating in front of them.

'This bow is named the star light bow, it uses the elements or rules you have understood as arrows. It was made from twelve star ores so you can use it until you reach grand completion. It's the only divine grade weapon you will receive from this inheritance and that is because the earlier you refine it the better for you since it has to grow with you.

'divine grade' Wesley wondered about it. He wanted to ask Tresse about it but realized that it was still waving its small skeleton fingers.

Five short swords appeared after it finished waving its hand.

'These are mortal grade rank swords. Weapons are also graded the same way that spell techniques are. You can use them as practicing materials for the sword art. Do you see that round platform? Tresse asked as it pointed out to a floating round platform. That is the fighting arena. Once you step on it, you will be able to request an opponent of your level to fight against you. Fighting will help in honing your skills and also make you understand the destruction faster and better. After fighting it is better to meditate on the destruction rule plus the mistakes you make in battles. This will help you learn your strengths and fight better in your next battles. Trust me you will survive longer.' Tresse continued speaking slowly.

'Now which art would you want to begin with.' it queried Wesley

Wesley pondered over the question, he looked at the arena and then stared at the beasts below and asked a question.

'Are the beasts edible?' he asked Tresee with hope in his eyes.

'No they are not. You will receive a low grade mortal fruit every time you manage to kill off one those beasts.' Tresse said in a dry tone.

'Alright' Wesley said sheepishly.

'I think I will start with the sword art, then body movement technique and then the bow art.' Wesley said this time with confidence. He knew that he did not have any understanding in any rule so the best option for him was to start with an art that would help him quickly understand the destruction rule.

As he was pondering over where to start practicing from, Tresse waved its fingers and the stone they were on expanded by almost five times. It snapped its fingers and a stone cottage looking house appeared .

This is where you will be sleeping and training from.

It hen handed him the rest of the scrolls. Wesley picked out the Five short destruction and started reading it.
