The smile on Goku's face faded, replaced by a serious look.

He didn't waste words—his actions spoke for him.

Crack!

Golden sparks burst out as Goku powered up to Full-Power Super Saiyan, his aura shaking the ground.

Vegeta's eyes widened. He could feel it—Goku's power was on another level.

"Very good, Kakarot!" Vegeta smirked, clenching his fists. Even if he knew the gap was huge, he refused to back down. He was Vegeta, the Prince of all Saiyans.

Seeing Vegeta's spirit, Goku decided to stop holding back. He focused, letting all of his Saiyan bloodline's power erupt. A storm of energy exploded out from him, shaking the land.

Vegeta struggled to stand firm, but his body trembled. His instincts screamed at him.

(What is this power?! Why does my body feel uneasy just from his transformation?!)

When the storm cleared, Vegeta finally saw it—

Goku stood with fiery red fur, long wild black hair flowing down his back, his aura so intense it seemed to bend space itself. His body radiated explosive strength.

This was Goku's strongest form—Super Saiyan 4.

"I've kept you waiting, Vegeta. This is Super Saiyan 4." Goku's voice was calm, but heavy with power.

Vegeta's jaw dropped. His eyes were wide with shock.

"Super Saiyan… 4?!" He grit his teeth. "Kakarot… you've gone this far again…"

Once more, Goku had leapt ahead of him, just like three years ago—when Vegeta reached Super Saiyan 2, only to discover Goku already had Super Saiyan 3.

But this time, Goku didn't hide it. He transformed openly, out of respect.

"I won't hold back this time. Get ready, Vegeta." Goku took his stance, his aura crushing down on Vegeta like a mountain.

"Hmph!! That's fine by me!" Vegeta roared as his power exploded, transforming into Super Saiyan 3.

But even at that level, the gap between Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan 4 was massive. More than ten times difference in strength.

Sweat ran down Vegeta's back as he glared at Goku.

(Damn it… he's covered in openings, but at the same time… he's completely invincible!)

Vegeta hesitated to move. Goku noticed and smirked.

"Well then… I'll start."

In a flash, Goku vanished.

(So fast!!) Vegeta barely had time to raise his guard before—

BOOM!

The ground split apart. Dust and smoke blasted out.

When it cleared, Goku's fist hovered inches from Vegeta's face. Just one casual punch carried the weight of death.

Cold sweat dripped down Vegeta's forehead.

The fight was already decided.

"It's over, Vegeta." Goku lowered his fist, his expression calm.

Vegeta froze. He hated it, but he couldn't deny it. The difference was too big. He had been crushed.

"Heh… hahaha… HAHAHAHA!" Vegeta suddenly laughed, wild and bitter.

He thought he was catching up—but Goku was already standing on another plane.

Finally, after the laughter faded, Vegeta muttered, "…You win, Kakarot."

The clean admission shocked Goku. But Vegeta's pride wasn't gone.

"But don't get comfortable! The throne of the strongest Saiyan won't be yours forever. Sooner or later, I'll take it!"

With that, Vegeta blasted off into the sky, his pride still burning.

Goku smiled as he watched him leave.

"Vegeta… you'll figure it out. I know you will."

Releasing his transformation, Goku flew back toward Mount Paozu. The fight was over… but not unnoticed.

At the Lookout, Piccolo had been watching the whole time.

He had expected Goku and Vegeta to clash eventually, but he didn't imagine it would end like this—so one-sided.

"Super Saiyan 4…" Piccolo whispered, a small smile on his face.

"Goku… you really don't give the rest of us any chance to catch up, do you…"

A blink of an eye.

A year had passed since the battle between Goku and Vegeta.

During this time, Earth was at peace. The Z Fighters, even Goku, had started getting used to quiet days, thinking maybe there wouldn't be any more enemies coming to threaten their world.

But this peace… was only the calm before the storm.

In the Realm of the Gods…

Far away from Earth, something stirred.

The God of Destruction, Beerus, had finally awakened—after thirty-seven years of sleep!

The moment his eyes opened, waves of destructive energy shot across the universe. Entire galaxies shivered. Powerful beings across the stars felt that terrifying force and froze in fear.

The last thing they wanted… was for Beerus to wake up.

All across the heavens, gods sensed it too. The Supreme Kai, the Grand Kai, King Yemma, even the lower gods who watched over planets—all of them felt their hearts tighten.

They knew exactly what this meant.

Beerus wasn't just awake—he was hungry. And whenever he woke up, countless worlds would be destroyed.

After all, the God of Destruction's job was to keep balance. That meant erasing planets, people, or anything that threatened the order of the universe.

Some feared it. Some accepted it. But one being was secretly glad—Whis.

For decades, the angel had been alone in the Destruction Realm, waiting. Now Beerus was awake, he finally had someone to talk to again. Of course, Whis could have visited the mortal world, but without Beerus's permission, it was forbidden. Angels held a special role—they could not interfere with the natural flow of events.

And so, Whis had waited patiently.

Inside Beerus's Palace.

The chamber shook as Beerus stretched, his aura of destruction slamming into the walls.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Each movement caused explosions of raw power. He was venting the energy that had built up during his sleep.

Whis sighed, watching calmly as the palace nearly crumbled.

"Honestly… Lord Beerus, you cause such chaos every time you wake up. I wonder if you'll ever rise without throwing a tantrum."

Still, Whis didn't complain too much. He understood. Being a God of Destruction wasn't easy. People thought it was just smashing planets, but the truth was far heavier. Beerus had to remove all the impurities of the universe—planets, civilizations, even beings—that slowed down its growth. The longer the universe lasted, the more work Beerus had to do.

And every time he finished a job, it drained his body more than anyone could imagine.

Most mortals thought creation was harder. But Whis knew… destruction carried an even greater weight.

Meanwhile, in the Supreme Kai's Realm…

On a cliff, Old Kai and Kibito Kai stood staring at the skies. Old Kai's usual cranky face was gone—replaced by one of fear.

He knew this feeling all too well.

Beerus, the God of Destruction, had awakened.

Kibito Kai glanced nervously at him. "So it's true…? This Beerus really exists?"

Old Kai scowled. "Of course he exists, you fool! Do you think I was sealed inside that sword for fun? It was Beerus himself who did it."

Kibito Kai swallowed hard, but still asked, "Even so… is he really that terrifying? Surely, with Goku around, maybe we don't need to worry."

Old Kai spun on him, furious.

"Idiot! You don't understand! Beerus isn't just strong. His very existence is beyond strength! Majin Buu, the monster you thought was unbeatable, is nothing more than an insect compared to him!"

Kibito Kai froze, speechless.

Old Kai let out a long sigh, his shoulders sagging. "Listen. Even if Goku were ten times stronger than he is now, he still wouldn't be able to match Beerus. That's the difference between a warrior… and a God of Destruction."

Silence fell.

Kibito Kai clenched his fists, frustrated.

Old Kai just looked to the stars with a heavy heart.

He wanted to believe Goku could one day surpass Beerus. But reality was cruel. The gap was far too wide.

The smile on Goku's face faded, replaced by a serious look.

He didn't waste words—his actions spoke for him.
