Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - 5

Chapter 1 - "Expression"

That afternoon, Yureta sat in the back row of his class. His eyes were empty, staring out the window, letting his thoughts drift away.

Ever since that accident… I've had a hard time getting through everything, he thought quietly.

Suddenly, a cheerful voice broke his daydream.

"Hey, Yureta! Want to join the holiday trip? Lots of people are going!" asked Fernando, his classmate, as he walked over.

Yureta turned for a moment, then replied briefly, "I can't. I have to work part-time."

"Hahaha, don't joke around, man! Celia will be there," Fernando said with a small laugh.

Yureta's expression remained flat. "Celia, the one who's famous for being pretty? I don't care about her."

Fernando fell silent, slightly taken aback by the answer. No more words were exchanged, and soon, the school bell rang.

That evening, Yureta returned home.

"I'm home, Grandma," he said as he opened the door.

His grandmother, who had already prepared dinner, smiled warmly. "You're back? Come, let's eat."

The two of them sat at their small dining table, enjoying a simple meal. Even though life was limited, Yureta and his grandmother remained grateful for what they had.

Chapter 1.1 – "Jobs"

After finishing dinner with his grandmother, Yureta went to his room. He lay down on his bed and picked up his phone. His face remained unsettled, as usual.

Today, his teacher had announced that starting tomorrow, the school would be closed for a full month. This should have been good news… but not for me, he thought for a moment.

Suddenly, a message came in from an unknown number.

> Sender: Hi, is this HSA?

Yureta immediately replied in a professional tone.

> Yureta: Yes, this is HSA. Welcome. What kind of assistance do you need?

The reply came quickly.

> Sender: Can you come to my house tomorrow? I'll pay you later.

> Yureta: Alright, please give me your name and location.

A few seconds later, a long message arrived.

> Sender:

Name: Isanagi Nasserio

Age: 32

Location: Noka, No. 102

> Yureta: Alright, sir, thank you for booking our service. The payment for one day is 60 Tezar.

> Isanagi: Wow, that's so cheap!

Yureta simply stared at his phone screen for a moment before setting it down on the table. For him, work was just a routine.

Chapter 1.2 – "Celia's House"

That morning, Yureta arrived at the Noka housing complex. He walked along the row of houses, searching for number 102. After about three minutes, he finally found it.

Calmly, he pressed the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door opened—and what he saw surprised him slightly.

Celia.

The most beautiful girl in his class, known for being friendly yet difficult to approach.

"This is the house of Isanagi Nasserio, Noka Housing Complex 102," Yureta said flatly, as if confirming the address.

Celia looked slightly awkward. "Um… y-yes. You came here because of me, right?"

Yureta gazed at her for a moment, then gave a faint, genuinely sincere smile. "Of course not. You are a customer. Our main duty is to serve our customers well."

At that moment, Celia fell silent, her cheeks slightly flushed. She then invited Yureta inside.

"This is our house. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a dining table. Could you clean the kitchen first?" she asked.

"Alright, no problem at all," Yureta replied firmly.

"In that case, I'll go upstairs. If anything happens, you can call me," Celia said as she walked toward the stairs.

Yureta only glanced at her briefly, then smiled softly before heading to his work area.

Chapter 1.3 – "Clumsy"

Yureta began cleaning the kitchen. His hands moved deftly, wiping the table, sweeping the floor, and tidying every corner. However, his eyes couldn't ignore the reality.

This is really dirty… could it be that Celia is clumsy? he wondered for a moment.

He quickly shook his head slightly, dismissing the thought, then focused on continuing his work.

A few moments later, the kitchen was neat and sparkling. Just then, the sound of the front door opening was heard. A boy entered—it turned out to be Hanakie, Celia's younger brother.

The moment he saw Yureta, Hanakie immediately shouted, "Sis! There's a thief!"

"Hey, I'm not a thief!" Yureta quickly replied, a little startled.

"A thief, sis!" Hanakie insisted, his face full of panic.

The sound of hurried footsteps came from the stairs. Celia came down with a curious look on her face. "What's wrong, Hanakie? …Oh, this is Yureta. Our house assistant."

Hanakie's expression changed instantly. His face flushed with embarrassment. "Sorry, Brother Yureta… I thought you were a thief."

Yureta just chuckled. "Haha, no problem. It's alright."

He then turned to Celia. "I've finished cleaning the kitchen. Please let me know if there's anything lacking."

Celia stepped into the kitchen, her eyes widening. "Wow… this is very clean. Perfect, no complaints at all."

Yureta gave a faint smile, and in his heart, he cheered, Yosh! Let's move on to the next task.

Chapter 1.4 – "Yelza Spoke"

After a week of working as a house assistant at Celia's place, Yureta returned to his school routine. He sat in his usual seat at the back, trying to focus on the lesson.

However, he noticed something. For a while now, Yelza—his childhood friend—had been staring at him.

Yureta pretended not to care. Maybe she's still holding a grudge about what happened in middle school… the thing that made us stop being friends, he thought.

Not long after, Celia entered the classroom while chatting with a few of her female friends. Yureta glanced at her briefly.

Celia… she only hangs out with girls. Does she not have any male friends? he wondered.

Suddenly, a voice came from beside him.

"You… like her?"

Yureta was slightly startled and turned his head. It turned out Yelza had already sat beside him without him noticing.

Trying to stay calm, Yureta replied, "No. I just find it odd… that she doesn't have any male friends."

Yelza didn't say anything else. She just stayed quiet for a moment, then went back to her seat.

Meanwhile, Yureta's mind was still in turmoil. Why did Yelza want to talk to me just now… when she hasn't spoken to me at all since middle school?

Chapter 1.5 – "Yelza's Information"

The lunch bell rang. Yureta left the classroom, bought some food at the canteen, and headed to the school rooftop. The place was rarely visited by other students, so he could eat alone there.

While chewing, he muttered softly, "Earlier… what was with Yelza?"

Suddenly, a voice came from behind.

"You… love me, don't you, Yureta?"

Yureta choked in surprise. He had only just realized that Yelza had been quietly following him.

"O-of course I don't—"

His words were cut off by Yelza. "I don't really care. Whether you like me or someone else, that's not my business."

Without waiting for a reply, Yelza sat beside him and started eating. Yureta stayed silent, confused by her strange behavior.

When lunch break ended, Yureta returned to class. His gaze accidentally met Celia's, who was sitting across the room. However, Celia immediately turned her face away. Yureta didn't think much of it.

What truly bothered him was another thought. I can't afford to pay for that house bill…

While he was still drowning in worry, Yelza's voice came from behind him again.

"Yureta… your grandmother passed away just now. You should go home; I'll be the one to tell the teacher."

Yureta's world seemed to stop for a moment.

Chapter 1.6 – "Yureta Panic"

Yureta panicked. All the teachers at school had already heard the news from Yelza, so they immediately gave him permission to go home.

The moment he arrived home, his steps froze. In front of the door, he saw a group of thugs standing casually… as if waiting for someone. When he entered, the sight before him struck his heart—his grandmother lay lifeless.

Rage welled up inside him. Unbeknownst to him, Celia and Yelza had been following from a distance, witnessing everything.

Yureta grabbed a weapon lying near the table, then charged at the thugs. Blow after blow landed until one of them fell to the ground.

Suddenly, a man appeared from the direction of the gate. A neat black suit, the aura of a wealthy man, and swift movements—he took down the thugs with ease, then removed his glasses.

Yureta was shocked. "Isanagi Nasserio… Celia's father?"

When he turned around, his eyes met the intense gazes of Celia and Yelza. His chest felt tight. His thoughts were in chaos. Without saying a word, he ran away.

Now, he was truly alone. No family left. The only person remaining was his childhood friend—Yelza.

The evening sun was setting when Yelza finally found Yureta. He was sitting at the edge of the Ferka forest, not far from the Noka housing complex.

"Yureta…" Yelza's voice was soft, yet clear.

Yureta looked up, startled. His eyes glistened. For the first time, someone had managed to find him… when he was in trouble.

Chapter 1.7 - "Emotional"

Yelza sat next to Yureta. They were both silent, the only sound of the Ferka forest wind audible. The sky slowly darkened, signaling the imminent arrival of night.

Finally, Yureta stood up to go home. Yelza got up and walked beside her, still without saying a word.

"You… intend to kill me, don't you, Yelza?" Yureta asked, trying to break the silence.

"No," Yelza replied calmly. "I'll stay with you until this house is confiscated by the government."

Yureta stopped in her tracks, staring at her in surprise. "How do you know? How long will it take?"

"Tonight," Yelza replied simply. "I know everything about you."

Yureta just stared at her silently. This person… is a witch, huh? How does she know everything… even where I am?

"I'm not a witch, hey," Yelza replied suddenly, as if reading her mind.

Yureta was shocked. "Huh? What do you mean?"

"You didn't realize?" Yelza's gaze pierced. "You have an Emotional Sharing to me. That's why I can sense your feelings."

Yureta fell silent. This was the first time he'd heard that term, and the fact that he actually possessed something like it confused him.

"Tomorrow your house will be foreclosed," Yelza continued. "And when that happens… the Emotional Channel will be gone permanently."

Yureta remained silent, letting the words hang in the air, pressing heavily against his chest.

Chapter 2 – "Celestia"

That afternoon, Yureta received a message from Celia's father, Isanagi Nasserio.

> "Hi Yureta, I need ALRT. My wife is at home right now. Can you spare about six hours of your time? I'd like to gather together."

Yureta replied quickly.

> "Of course."

Not long after, Yureta arrived at Celia's house. The door was opened by a woman he had never met before. At first, Yureta thought she was Celia's older sister, but it turned out the woman was Celia's mother—Celestia.

Hanakie immediately ran to her mother and said enthusiastically,

> "Mom, Yureta is an amazing and hardworking person!"

Celestia gave a warm smile.

> "Oh, really? In that case… could you cook for us?"

Yureta gave a small smile.

> "Of course I can. What would you like to eat?"

Hanakie quickly answered without thinking,

> "Hamburger!"

Yureta nodded calmly.

> "Alright. Do you already have the ingredients?"

He opened the fridge and checked inside. After looking around for a bit, he turned to Celestia and Hanakie.

> "Looks like we don't have the ingredients. Should I go buy them first?"

Chapter 2.1 – "Your Girlfriend?"

Celestia gave a small smile.

> "Sure. Wait a moment, I'll get some money."

Yureta simply stood by the door, waiting. Not long after, Celestia returned and handed him a few bills.

> "Here's the money. Oh, wait… I'll call Celia."

Celestia turned toward the stairs and called out,

> "Celia! Celia! Come down here for a moment."

Celia appeared, slightly in a hurry.

> "Yes, Mom? What is it?"

> "I want you to go with Yureta to the nearby store to buy some groceries," Celestia explained.

Hearing this, Hanakie immediately exclaimed,

> "Mom! I want to come too!"

In the end, the three of them set off. The store they were heading to was near Noka Housing, No. 85. The street was fairly quiet that afternoon, with only the sound of their footsteps.

However, along the way, they ran into Yelza. She stopped Yureta for a moment.

> "What time will you be back?" she asked flatly.

> "Around midnight," Yureta replied briefly.

Yelza just gave him a short look, then walked away without another word.

Celia, curious, immediately asked,

> "Is she your girlfriend?"

Yureta answered with a straight expression,

> "No. She's my friend. I live at her house… because my home was seized by the government."

Both Celia and Hanakie were shocked.

> "Yureta? Are you okay?" Celia asked with a worried look.

> "Big brother… why was your house seized?" Hanakie asked innocently.

Chapter 3 – "Bride"

On the way back, Hanakie suddenly said,

> "Hey, Brother Yureta, my sister looks really pretty today, right?"

Yureta gave a faint smile,

> "Yes, your sister does look pretty today."

Hearing that, Celia immediately blushed, her cheeks turning red. Meanwhile, Yureta just kept walking casually, not realizing that his words had made the atmosphere a little different. Indeed, Yureta was known as someone honest and straightforward—unable to read the feelings of those around him.

When they arrived home, Celestia and Hanakie sat at the dining table, while Yureta headed straight to the kitchen, busy preparing the meal. Not long after, Celia came over.

> "Yureta, I want to help. Can I?"

> "Sure," Yureta replied briefly.

The two of them began cooking together. The sound of footsteps came from the stairs—it was Celia's father.

> "So, do we have all the ingredients, Yureta?" he asked.

> "Yes, we do," Yureta replied, still focused on preparing the food.

Celia's father looked at the two of them and smiled mischievously.

> "Hmm… you two look like a bride and groom, haha!"

Yureta stayed silent, eyes fixed on the pan. But Celia immediately blushed, her cheeks turning even redder than before.

> "Dad! Don't say that!" she protested, half embarrassed.

> "Haha, I'm just kidding," her father said with a small laugh.

Chapter 4 – "Eating Together"

They all sat at the dining table, enjoying the dishes Yureta had just prepared. Everyone seemed to relish the food.

> "This is delicious," Celestia said with a smile.

Yureta only stood beside the table, watching them with a calm gaze.

> "Yureta, aren't you eating?" Celia asked.

> "No. I'm here as a house assistant," he replied politely.

Isanagi teased again,

> "What, don't tell me you're not eating because Celia's too pretty? Hahaha!"

Yureta just smiled without answering. Celia, on the other hand, blushed again, her face turning red.

> "Come on, sit and eat. Don't be shy. Even if you're working, you still have to eat," said Isanagi.

Finally, Yureta sat down in the empty seat next to Celia. They ate together, creating a warm atmosphere.

In the middle of the meal, Yureta's phone rang. It was a call from Yelza.

> "Yureta, when you come home later, bring some food," the voice on the other end said.

Yureta turned to Isanagi.

> "Sir, may I take some food for my friend at home?"

> "Ah, no need to ask. Just take it. You're the one who cooked it, after all," Isanagi replied with a smile.

Time passed, and soon the clock struck midnight. Yureta excused himself to go home. As he was about to leave, Celia called out,

> "Wait, here's your payment. My dad forgot to give it to you."

Yureta shook his head.

> "Ah, it's fine. Don't worry about it."

He then went home, carrying food for Yelza. When he arrived, he handed it to her right away. Yelza only glanced at it before taking it, while Yureta sat for a moment, gazing at the night sky through the window.

Chapter 5 – "Burning Anger"

That morning, Yureta went to school as usual. His steps were relaxed, but his eyes soon caught something that puzzled him. A group of girls—known for their jealousy toward Celia—were walking toward class, wearing smiles full of satisfaction. Something was strange—those smiles weren't normal.

Yureta's suspicion grew when he realized two things: Yelza was absent from class, and Celia was also missing. His heartbeat quickened. This isn't normal… he thought. Without wasting time, he stepped out of the classroom and began walking down the school corridors.

His instincts told him they were upstairs. Yureta went there immediately and found a door locked tight. Without a second thought, he lifted his leg and—BANG!—the lock snapped. The door flew open with a loud crash.

His eyes widened. There, in the windy corner of the rooftop, Celia and Yelza sat bound. Their faces were pale, but they were unharmed. Yureta rushed over, quickly untying the ropes.

> "Are you okay?" he asked with a worried tone.

"We're fine…" Celia replied softly.

Yureta nodded, but his eyes turned sharp. He already knew who the culprits were. Without saying much, he returned to the classroom, grabbed several of the girls he had seen earlier, and forced them into an empty experiment lab.

There, Yureta's gaze was filled with menace.

> "If you dare to do this again…" his voice was cold, then he smirked slightly, "…I don't care if you're a girl or a boy, you'll pay for it. Remember that."

One of them tried to fight back, but Yureta struck her once, making the girl stumble and fall silent in fear. His sly grin made the atmosphere even more suffocating. Several of them turned pale, and the one who took Yureta's punch seemed completely traumatized.

The next day, the school felt peaceful. There were no more whispers or jealous glances. Yureta noticed that those girls now always avoided Celia and Yelza whenever they crossed paths.

As he left through the school gate, Yureta spotted the store sign across the street: Huge Sale This Week!

His eyes lit up. Yes! I have to go there… he thought, walking away with high spirits.
