The next day , Kaito and his team was ready for the next mission they received . It was a B3 grade mission which Kaito chose for his team . Today , their goal was simple .
The mission would be completed by Seina and the others while Kaito will search for the corrupted human organization and eliminate the corrupted humans as much as he could .
They reached the point where they needed to abandon the car and move deeper into the Starlit Forest .
Kaito was looking at his own tracker and was analyzing the positions of the corrupted humans .
"Do you need help ?" asked Seina
"Help ? No , complete the mission" replied Kaito
"But , if there were stronger than the ones we faced ?"
"Even if they are , they can't cross the boundaries of S-Rank . If so , then they wouldn't be in these organizations"
"Don't you think you are underestimating them too much ?"
"Am I ? I don't realize"
"You are same as ever"
"Don't worry and just complete the mission . Meet me at the planned location , alright ?" said Kaito as he gently patted Seina's head . Her face flushed red as she pretended to hit Kaito which he just laughed away .
"Is you lovey-dovey talk over yet ?" asked Kendo
"Are you missing your fiance ?"
"Don't talk nonsense" said Kendo
"You know , you can just accept it if you feel like it"
"Shut up !!"
"It's alright . Okay , let's head our own ways"
"You too take care of yourself" said Seina
"You got it" replied Kaito
He just blurred from the spot as his figure soared through the sky leaving only a streak of light which followed him behind .
"Idiot" muttered Seina
She then turned towards the others and said in a calm tone .
"Let's complete the mission"
"Yes" everyone said in unison

Kaito was rushing towards the encampment of the Corrupted Human . The nearest one to him was also more than 3 kilometers in the west . His speed was much faster than last time . He didn't use his complete speed last time as Seina would have difficulty keeping up . He had already planned to train her body making it more durable and stronger .
A mage has their main concentration improving their mana pool and also reducing the mana consumption of their spells . Kaito himself is a Magic Swordsman . He had both mana and aura as his energy source and thus his body is many times more stronger than any mage .
His mana pool is also greater than any mage . He even realized that his body has much more mana than it displays but most of it in a sealed state . His current mana is at 925,000 points with only a few thousand points from breaking through to SSS-Rank . The combat suit he was wearing was also a high-quality one given by the Academy , although inferior to the ones by his family but still much stronger than average suits .
Kaito reached the location of the first encampment as he crashed on the ground . The corrupted humans inside the base suddenly felt an explosion as they came out . They saw that dust and smoke covered their eyesight but even within the dust they could clearly see two glowing blue eyes which made them feel like a ghost .
Kaito who had opened his blindfold stepped out of the dust as they were shocked . There wasn't supposed to be any human near their encampment but here he was . A unknown human which was stronger than they had encountered .
Kaito's body was covered in sparks of lightning as his sword was drawn which shined with a bluish white hue . His figure disappeared from the spot as blood and screams filled the air . He had started his annihilation . The corrupted humans attacked him together but they proved worthless as his sword pierced the body of every corrupted humans and made them feel despair during their death .
He didn't use any of his sword techniques but his strength was enough to deal with these S-Rank corrupted humans . His combat suit was glowing green . His sync rate was between 60% to 70% . Kaito dealt with the corrupted humans faster than he anticipated . He wasn't the slightest exhausted but the other party was dead .
Kaito's suit was covered in red blood as he once again launched into the air leaving the same streak of light . He headed towards the other corrupted human organizations .

Kaito took 2 hours to eliminate the maximum number of corrupted human organizations near the Stellar City . He also noticed a huge flaw in the planning . If only these many corrupted humans had planned to attack the base city , it would have been completely meaningless .
The base city is under the protection of the sword families and even if the barrier is weak which allows the corrupted humans to pass through but they would ultimately die in the hands of the family heads . This was also the same for the Solar City . The family heads of the Solar City's magic families although weaker than the Stellar City but they too are X-Rank Awakeners . It doesn't make any sense that they would plan to attack these two base cities with the highest tier of defense and the highest strength among the 5 major base cities .
It was then , Kaito realized that he had made a mistake . The plan of the corrupted humans was never to attack the base city themselves but to lure the demons to attack the cities . No matter how much powerful a single or a few Awakeners be , they could never win against a hord of fiend-level to hell-level demons . Not to mention , the ones which are stronger than hell-level .
Kaito immediately stopped on his tracks . He quickly checked the trackers which reported him the locations and conditions of his team members . This was a device provided to the captains and vice-captains of the teams to locate their team members easily . It also reported them , the health conditions and mana levels of their members so that they could provide immediate support .
He saw that their locations were too close to the Death Mist . They were surrounded by countless hell-level and nightmare-level monsters which was indicated by the dark red and the less dark red dots . Seina and Kendo had their mana levels reaching rock bottom whereas Akane and Kaori although have a bit of mana left but couldn't provide too much support .
Their locations was in Kaito's opposite direction which was atleast 7km from his current location . He didn't waste any time as he rushed towards the place in full speed . His mana was close to 1,000,000 and so he didn't mind wasting a bit too much to reach the location if it meant he could get a boost in speed .
Kaito's location was quickly closing in .

Seina's body was covered in injuries . She realized that her mana was hitting rock bottom . She looked to her side as she noticed that Kendo wasn't looking in good shape either and Akane and Kaori were trying their best to provide support but weren't able to because their strength is a bit less and eliminating such a huge wave of monsters wasn't their feat .
She saw that the hell-level monster corpses they killed lied near them but she also noticed the countless monsters rushing towards them . She was sure that this was the last view she would see in her life . In her final moments , her mind projected her a face . It was Kaito . A smile spread across her face when she remembered his face .
The countless memories they shared together rushed back to her . Their first meeting , their first laugh together , their first date and even the other memories they both made together . He was the only person who truly ever understood her . She thought about the face Kaito would make when he will see that his entire team was killed and he wasn't able to save them . A sad feeling spread across her chest as she felt it tightening .
But , suddenly something unexpected happened . A huge wave of mana landed before them like a shield and swept through the wave of hell-level monsters . She couldn't see his face but she knew that the person was undoubtedly strong . The mana waves released from the attacks was enough to even make an SS-Rank like her to feel pressured . She noticed that the aura emitted by the person was very familiar but she wasn't able to identify it .
Kaito's annihilation started the moment he reached their location . The wave of monsters surrounding them had many hell-level and nightmare-level monsters whereas the majority of them were either low-grade nightmare level or high-grade fiend level . His sword passed through the bodies of monsters eliminating them completely . Kaito's sync rate started increasing . It went from green to yellow and finally to red . He exerted 90% of the suits power .
The wave of monsters which felt as if it would take an entire army to eliminate was being killed by Kaito alone . His combat power and clear mind also helped him greatly to clear the monsters . Hell-level demons are strong and possess intelligence but it didn't completely develop to the level of humans .
Only the Demon Kings and Demon God or any other demon above SS-Rank can successfully possess human level intelligence .
Kaito's killing spree continued . He descended over the demons like a god of death , eliminating a part of the wave with one swing of his sword . His sync rate has reached 90% and his combat power with stats have increased atleast to the mid-tier of SSS-Rank . With such a strong combat power , it was like cutting a butter to kill these monsters but even he has a limit . He can fight against such a large wave for about a couple of hours but he also needed mana and aura .
He could feel his aura core drying up . His mana level wasn't decreasing much as he wasn't using any techniques or spells but it too was slowly decreasing . His aether circles were constantly replenishing his mana circles as well as his aura core . Kaito's patience was also reaching its limit .
6-Star (Lightning Magic) : Thunder Blast
A huge wave of lightning descended and killed the demons . He didn't stop . Kaito continued using his spells .
6-Star(Fire Magic) : Inferno
6-Star(Water Magic) : Water Wave
The demons were reaching an end . There were atmost 100 demons left . He thought that this was the time to use an ultimate spell . Kaito inserted his sword in his sheath as he closed his eyes . His aether circles stopped supplying energy to aura core and magic circles . He dipped into the state of conciousness as his aether circles started spinning vigorously as it supplied a huge wave of energy to the mana circles .
Kaito's mana circles receiving the huge amount of mana absorbed it directly . Kaito opened his eyes which now were glowing with a purplish hue . He raised both his hands and placed them over one another .
He casted an AOE spell . The ground where the demons stood were covered in two magic circles . One above them and on below them . Kaito closed his fist as the magic circles descended making a void like space between them .
7-Star (Void Magic) : Void Space
The two spaces descended over the demons trapping them as it started compressing . The space grew smaller and smaller as the space between it crushed the demons inside . Kaito's mana was reaching bottom as he was having difficulty maintaining the spell . He still tried his best absorbing energy from his aether circles and converting the energy into mana . The space finally closed as blood splurted inside killing the demons trapped within .
Kaito released the spell as his mana was completely exhausted . His aether core which too was almost dry was using itself as a last source to provide Kaito with little energy it could provide to atleast keep his conciousness intact . He stood within a barren land within the forest . The ground still had traces of mana lingering within .
The other members who were now a little healed with the support of the potions and the help of Akane and Kaori watched Kaito standing like an invincible being . He turned his head slightly as a smile flashed on Kaito's face . Seina saw that blood was leaking from both his head which covered one side of his face and an eye along with the blood coming out of one corner of his mouth . The battle suit wasn't having any glow . It was completely torn apart and was no longer able to be used for combat . His body wasn't too injured but it still had claw marks on his torso .
Kaito's head was bleeding because he calculated a large number of equations in a small amount of time for the magic spells he casted along with the analysis of his eyes which provided additional sprain . He just walked slowly towards them . His steps weren't in sync as his body was completely devoid of energy . He just came near Seina and fell on her shoulder finally closing his eyes and slipping away from conciousness .
