After the announcement , every single Awakener turned to look towards the Starlit Forest .
The sight made everyone shudder . They saw a huge horde of monsters rushing towards the Stellar City . The dust and smoke released by the monsters together made the surroundings unclear but the blood red glowing eyes of the monsters could be seen .
The glowing red eyes ran a chill down the spine of lower level Awakeners . The high level ones looked towards the horde with cold , emotionless eyes . Everyone drew their weapons almost silently .
The ground seemed to be vibrating due to the weight of so many demons .
"Charge !!"
As soon as they heard the order , the Awakeners instinctively rushed towards the horde of monsters . There were more than 3000 monsters and only 500 Awakeners . Each Awakener was responsible for killing atleast 6 monsters . The higher level Awakeners were eliminating the beasts like a walk in the park but the main problem was still left .
Soon , the nightmare level demons fell short and the number of hell-level monsters exceeded the expectations . The high-grade hell-level monsters were still not attacking but the low-grade and intermediate-grade ones caused much more trouble .
Seina was constantly using her magic spells to cast AOE attack and kill a large portion of the beasts . The mages were a real help in these situations but eventually , they would run out of mana .
Suddenly , the people felt something was wrong . The monsters never seem to run out even though the slain monster corpses lay on the ground . The number of monsters weren't decreasing . The people noticed that the Starlit Forest was like a machine of monster generation , pouring out monsters from inside .
The number which was calculated to be 3000 was actually more than that . The exact number was still a mystery to all .
In a matter of an hour , the defenses started to fall . The mana and stamina of the long range mages as well as the close combat swordsman started losing its power . The heads who were watching this realized that it was time for them to take action .
But , suddenly , everyone heard a sound . A sound like explosion which originated above them in the sky , the people looked up to see a figure flying towards them at a high speed . The speed of the person was so fast that he even caused sonic booms .
The figure covered in black battle suit and surrounded by a thick wave of mana crashed onto the ground between the beasts . The monsters sensing a greater aroma of flesh and blood rushed towards the crater .
The others tried chasing them but the next view made them tremble in fear . The monsters who had rushed to the crater were all sliced in half . Their lifeless corpses lay on the ground as a pair of blue eyes which were cold and chilly made them feel fear . The aura they sensed was greater than the amount they sensed to this day .
Even Akari , Yuuki , Seina , Kendo , Akari and Kaori watched as the scene unfolded before them . The 4th year students could feel something different . The moment they first sensed the approaching power , they already estimated the person to be SSS-Rank but upon sensing in front they realized the gap in strength .
The 4th year students who were SSS-Rank were mostly people with 1,000,000 to 1,200,000 mana and stats comparable to SSS-Rank (Lower) Awakeners but the person before them had a mana of atleast 1,800,000 points and is in SSS-Rank (Intermediate) rank .
The dust settled as a familiar figure emerged . His bright snow white hair which had grown longer due to one month in seclusion but it didn't make him ugly , rather , the messy hairstyle suited the person . The pair of cold blue eyes beneath the hair which made the others feel fear . The body of the person was perfect in every aspect stood before them .
People from the Academy recognized the person who stood before them when they saw his face . This was Kaito Sakura . Akari also say the look on her brother's face and couldn't help but be suppressed . The aura releasing from him was suffocating . This was the power of an SSS-Rank which was understood by everyone .
"SSS-Rank ?!" exclaimed one of the students
This call seemed to bring back everyone to their senses . They all looked towards Kaito who slowly turned towards the beasts after flashing a smile to both Akari and Seina . Seina was actually quite relieved when she saw that Kaito was well and not only that he had also successfully broken through .
Kaito didn't waste time as he rushed towards the horde alone . Kaito raised his hand .
7-Star(Lightning Magic) : Descent of Thunder
The sky started crackling as a huge wave of lightning descended and scorched the beasts until they became roasted . This large AOE attack was enough to eliminate atleast 50 monsters . The huge crater on the battlefield was a living proof of the amount of power .
Kaito didn't stop after the attack . He took out two swords in each respective hand . One was the sword he created from the Academy and the other was the sword he was awarded during the ceremony . Kaito was as fast as lightning as his figure blurred out . His speed was so fast that the others failed to distinguish between his original body and his after images . The bloody battle in the front was already started .
The beasts were chopped off like butter . The few beasts who were out of range for Kaito were eliminated by the other students who gained confidence and hope after observing Kaito.
Kaito on the other hand awakened a trait when he was inside 'Skill Library' . His new trait was called 'Endless Mana' . The effects of this trait was that Kaito's body would endlessly absorb mana from the surroundings when he wasn't even doing mana training . Even now , his mana continuously regenerated even when he was fighting the monsters . His title of 'Master of Mana' further enhanced his trait .
Kaito also obtained some information about 'Ethereal Mana Body' which he gained after his system updated . This trait not only allows him to create clones but also provides a perfect mana control and a perfect mana circuit conduction . His body which has now opened 20 meridians combined with the perfect mana circuit increased his mana conductivity to a whole new level . His cultivation is only at SSS-Rank but he can easily fight against a person who is at lower X-Rank .
Kaito's clones have also upgraded . His each clone has a power comparable to S-Rank Awakener . He didn't use his clones right now but he can use them if needed . The other students of different years who are responsible for protecting the city were also fighting with all they have which made Kaito's expression a bit relieved but it didn't last long . He turned towards the monsters once again as his killing spree had already started . The continuous level up messages also didn't ignore his view but he didn't pay attention to them .
His leveling speed has significantly decreased and his each level up would provide a boost of 1 stat point each level up . Kaito didn't complain or felt that the system was unfair . He knows that if he continued to received upgrades like 2 or 3 stat points per level up then he would reach X-Rank within half a year which is too abnormal of a speed . He wants to power up fast but being too fast can attract a lot of unwanted attention .
He wants to take slow and grow stronger together with others . If he grows stronger too fast than he would eventually become lonely . High-level Awakeners are famous for being lonely . The people who reach X-Rank are people who had abnormal talent and almost endless potential within them . If Kaito who had potential greater than even those people than he would eventually become too lonely as he wouldn't find anyone with equal power to him .
He also noticed that Kendo , Akane and Kaori have reached SS-Rank during the time he was in seclusion . He felt relieved that the cultivation speed of the three of them are not bad . The most students reach SS-Rank at the end of 3rd year but they are only students who are in 2nd year . Kaito even reached SSS-Rank which is difficult to reach even by senior 4th years who are near graduation .

The first wave of monsters which consisted about 5000 monsters was over . The Super Class Monsters didn't show up in the end . Kaito stood in the center of the battlefield while the students from the Academy were showing signs of tiredness or exhaustion . He didn't have a single sweat on his forehead . The entire span of time required for them to kill these many beasts were four hours .
Seina looked towards Kaito . She had already realized that he had broken through but now she saw him up close . His height has increased slightly from 1.89m to 1.95m and his body was much more defined even with his battle suit on . His aura was even more suffocating . She noticed that when all the others were tired , he was looking towards the Starlit Forest as if suspecting more attack .
SS-Rank Awakeners naturally have greater stamina than S-Rank or below but even they would be tired while facing a horde of more than 5000 monsters . She saw that Kendo , Akane and Kaori were tired too . At this time , Akari and Yuuki came towards her .
"Are you okay ?" asked Seina
"I am , thank you" said Akari
Seina was a mage who specializes in long range AOE attacks while Akari was a swordswoman . Naturally , she would exhaust her stamina more quickly than Seina who were both at SS-Rank level . In fact , other than Seina , most of the members she knew and were friends with were Magic Swordsman , who specializes both in sword and magic . She immediately had a urge to start learning swordsmanship . She knew that the path of a swordsman is difficult than the path of a mage and the others were already far away from her creating a huge gap but that only made her determination to learn sword more stronger .

"I knew he was a bit special than others but I didn't even realize that he was this special" said Akari who felt proud for Kaito .
At this moment , Kaito turned towards the others and his figure blurred . The next moment , he appeared before his team who he haven't seen in more than a month with a smile on his face .
"You almost forgot your sister here" complained Akari
"Sorry . This one month wasn't easy ." replied Kaito
"You changed a lot . It seems you achieved more than just SSS-Rank" said Seina
"A bit . I opened all of my meridians , achieved the rank of Intermediate Swordsman ….." Kaito continued explaining the things he did in this month .
The look on the others faces started changing . Achieving SSS-Rank in a month was already difficult to begin with but Kaito also mastered many skills and techniques . He even revealed the fact that his 'Sakura Family Secret Art' had reached Chapter 6 .
"Stop ..Stop , my brain can't handle so much information" said Kendo with a frown on his face
"You seemed to enter SS-Rank too" said Kaito
"Yeah , just a stroke of luck" replied Kendo
They were continuing to talk and chat as the battle ended . The students and other Awakeners were already on their way to the city . The barrier wasn't completely renewed but it wouldn't take more than 3 hours . They turned towards the Stellar City to return but Kaito suddenly felt a fluctuation in the surrounding space as he directly pushed the others to a distance of about 10 meters from him .
The next moment , a huge blast occurred where Kaito was standing . Kaito's team who he had pushed didn't have time to react as the explosion occurred in an instant . The people returning towards the Stellar City also stopped . Seina took 2 seconds to register as her voice suddenly rung out .
"Kaito !!!!"
