Kaito regained his conciousness in the infirmary of the Academy . He was unconcious of over 3 days . He was brought back injured and bruised by his team . The infirmary doctor Miss Aoi Hoshino wanted to know the reason for Kaito's heavy injuries but she noticed that they were hesitant to reply . She didn't push them furthur and just focused on his treatment .
Kaito's injuries were serious , especially the blood clot on his head . She understood that Kaito pushed his brain beyond his capacity and it was overexerted . She gave him a HF3 healing potion and a light dose of brain stimulant WI2 . His brain system was damaged but not highly . He didn't need WI4 brain stimulant and thus she gave him a slightly powerful one .
Kaito woke up on the fourth day as he couldn't recognize his surroundings before he noticed that he was inside the Academy infirmary . Aoi walked in at that moment when she noticed Kaito was awake . She slowly came towards him and said in a calm voice .
"Finally awake , are you ?"
"I am . Thank you for treating me"
"It's not a problem . You should look for your team , they were the ones who brought you here and that girl Seina comes every single day to ask about your condition"
"I guess , I worried her too much . Does my sister know ?"
"She is currently out in a mission to the Demonic Territory and so she probably doesn't know"
"That's good"
"Now tell me , how did you get so injured . You are a person who even killed a Demon King , right ?"
"Even an SSS-Rank Awakener can kill a Demon King but can they kill a wave of more than 800 monsters ?"
Aoi got stunned . She was expecting a more common reason like facing a difficult enemy on their mission but fighting a horde of 800+ monsters . It was a feat which was difficult for even an SSS-Rank to achieve .
"W-What ?!"
"I had to fight against a horde of 800 monsters inside the Starlit Forest"
"How did you do that ?"
"I had some trump cards which I had to use but even then I wasn't able to keep myself completely unharmed"
"But , where did this horde appear ?"
"This horde of monsters were responsible for attacking the Stellar City in a month"
"Wait a minute , I am getting confused . How did you know that they would attack Stellar City ?"
"There is an event which will occur in a month and these monsters were originally lured here"
"What event ?"
"Can't tell you the details but this isn't the end"
"Do you mean there are more ?"
"Correct . According to my estimations , there will be atleast 5 more horde of this size of larger during that day"
"Did you report to the headmaster ?"
"I can but he won't be of much help "
"Okay , go ahead . I won't question any furthur"
"Thank you"
Kaito came out of the infirmary . His head was bandaged and his blindfold was missing . His blindfold was completely destroyed and it was nothing more than a piece of burnt cloth at this point . He will have to request another blindfold from his grandfather .
He wanted to go to his dorm but later decided to head towards the class . He wasn't attending any classes after he started to take on missions as the classes were optional but he needed to clear his head so he decided to go to the class . His thoughts were all messed up and he couldn't think clearly .
The Academy was now having a break between classes . Kaito reached his class as he opened the door . As soon as the door opened all the students present looked towards the door . They saw Kaito coming in as everyone left a gasp . They heard about Kaito and his teams mission details as well as the fact that they had to face a wave of monsters . Kaito started hearing murmurs among the students .
He could feel that he had become the center of attention as he heard the murmurs . He also sensed a tone of admiration and respect from the students . The students of S-Class were the strongest in the Academy for each year and for them to show respect made the person a tier above them .
He didn't pay much attention but he heard a soft voice .
"Kaito ?"
He looked up as he noticed his team . Everyone was present . Seina was looking at him with teary eyes , when she saw him enter she was so shocked that she wasn't able to speak for a few moments . She slowly came down from her seat and stood in front of him .
Kaito didn't say anything as he flashed a delicate smile . Seina hugged him tightly as he was about to lose balance but controlled . He could feel his uniform getting wet as he understood her emotions . He didn't care that the whole class was watching or even that the students from corridor were watching . He simply hugged her back as he gently placed his hand on her head and whispered .
"It's alright . I am back"

He didn't attend class as he and his team left the school building . Seina wrapped herself around Kaito's left arm . He didn't feel embarrassed because it was known in the Academy and the whole of Stellar City and Solar City that Kaito Sakura who is the heir of the Sakura Family is engaged with Seina Shimuzu who is the heir of the Shimuzu Family . Although , they didn't have any official ceremony but it would naturally occur when they are of age .
"Is your head alright ?" asked Seina with a worried look and voice
"Mostly but it still hurts" replied Kaito
"How did you kill the demons , Kaito ?" asked Kendo
"Well , it's a trump card which I have . I had to use a 7-Star spell"
"Whoa , that range of spells is difficult to continuously use even if you are a 7-Star , right ?"
"Yes . I used many 6-Star spells before and then used the 7-Star spell . Naturally , it would create a high amount of pressure on my brain"
"Did you take any brain stimulant ?"
"Miss Aoi did give me a WI2 . It will naturally heal with time . My mana is still not fully recovered . I have to recover it completely first"
"It's okay . Take your time" said Seina
"Sorry but we will have to take one month off from the missions . I can't conduct any for atleast this month"
"It's okay , Kaito" replied Kendo
"Yeah , it's alright" said Akane
"Take your time to rejuvenate" said Kaori
"Thank you" replied Kaito
Seina accompanied Kaito to his dorm room . They entered as he closed the door .
"Seina , please wait here . I'm gonna take a bath"
"Go ahead"
Kaito entered the washroom with a towel and a fresh pair of clothes . It took him 10 minutes to finally complete his bath and come out . He was wearing a fresh hoodie and trousers . His hair was wet and his bandage was also wet . He went ahead to pick up his hair dryer as Seina came quickly and took it from his hand .
"Let me dry your hair" said Seina in an excited mood
Kaito agreed . He sat on the bed as Seina turned the dryer on and focused her attention on drying Kaito's hair . He felt her hands all over his head . She was carefully picking up his hairs and dried them . They both seemed like a newly-wed couple where a wife was drying her husband's hair .
She completed drying his hair as she pulled him back . Kaito feeling the sudden pull fell on Seina's lap . He looked at her with surprised eyes but she didn't say anything , rather , she carefully and gently caressed his head . He was lying on her lap as they started a conversation .
"How do you feel , Kaito ?"
"Incredible"
"Hehe . I am glad"
"I'm glad too" mumbled Kaito
"Hmm ?"
"It's nothing" he said as he flashed a soft smile
They stayed in that position for a while before Kaito got up . He was feeling incredibly good and didn't want to get up but he knows that he had a much important duty ahead of him . The time he had was short but the responsibility was high . He turned towards Seina .
"Seina , do you have any extra blindfold ?"
"I do have two more"
"If you don't mind , could you give me one ? My blindfold burnt during the last fight"
"Sure"
She got up and left Kaito's room only to return 3 minutes later . She was holding a cloth made of Seishin Silk which had the exact same color and pattern as the one she was wearing . Kaito looked at it for some time before taking it and wore it on his eyes . His vision returned to normal and the strain on his brain reduced greatly . It was a weird feeling as he didn't have any blindfold on for almost 4 days and his brain was slowly growing used to the pain .
He didn't delay any longer and took out the tracking device . The holographic screen showing the location of corrupted humans displayed . Seina noticed that the number of corrupted humans had decreased greatly . The red dots which amounted to almost 60 during the time she last checked was just a little over 20 in just a single day . She looked at Kaito with wide eyes . She almost couldn't come to believe that Kaito had already killed over 40 of them before coming to their aid but Kaito's eyes were frowned .
"Strange , I killed more than that"
"What ?" asked Seina
"I killed more than 50 corrupted humans before coming to your side but it had already increased to 20 ?"
Kaito could feel that something was wrong . He quickly swiped the map and brought it near the Solar City . He noticed that the number had decreased by a small amount . This discovery cleared his doubt . The corrupted humans of the Solar City came to the Stellar City for reinforcement .
Corrupted Humans were humans but they didn't possess intelligence like humans . They were more close to relation with demons than humans . They were also divided into ranks . The corrupted humans which Kaito killed were mostly Intermediate level corrupted humans . The corrupted humans with SS-Rank level strength were mostly Advanced level and those with SSS-Rank level strength were Evolved level . The corrupted humans with strength at X-Rank realm were Demon Levels .
The Advanced Level corrupted humans formed organizations with Intermediate Level and Beginner Level corrupted humans as members and these organizations were mid-grade corrupted human organization . The organizations with Evolved level corrupted humans as leaders along with Advanced level as members were high-grade corrupted human organizations whereas the organizations with Demon Level corrupted human as leaders and Evolved level as members were the supreme-grade corrupted human organization .
There are currently only 3 supreme-grade organizations with each leader having strength at X-Rank .
"Are these reinforcements part of your plan ?"
"Not really but it provides two valuable informations"
"What are those ?"
"First , the number of corrupted humans were limited and second , there is atleast an Advanced Level corrupted human guiding them"
"Isn't it too easy ?"
"You think ?"
"Yes"
"You are half-right . We know than an Advanced Level corrupted human is controlling their actions but what if the corrupted human isn't on Advance Level but rather in Evolver level ?"
"Would you have difficulty ?"
"I can kill him but it will damage my body"
"How so ?"
"Killing an SSS-Rank Corrupted Human is anything but easy . They have greater strength than SS-Ranks and also they have developed human level intelligence . That also meant , that they could use domains"
"Then , have you thought of a way ?"
"Yes . I will have to breakthrough"
"What ?"
"I took the leave for a month just to repair my body and to gradually breakthrough to become SSS-Rank"
"What is your current mana ?"
"Close to 992,000 points"
"That much ?"
Kaito just nodded . Anyone other than him knows that he had a system to help him and his strength can rise leaps and bounds as long as he kills demons and level ups .
