★Nuel's Pov★
"I don't know what came over me!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as warriors pinned me to the ground, while others rushed toward Alpha Noca who was bleeding profusely.
"I don't know!" I kept shouting, my voice breaking as I stared at his bloodied face, at my own trembling, crimson-stained hands, at myself. I struggled against the men restraining me, desperate to break free, desperate to deny what had just happened because there was no way I could have done that.
Through the chaos, my gaze locked with that of the elderly woman. Her eyes were cold and unreadable and they pierced into me.
In Confusion and anger. Loss at what was happening. They were all written there, mingling on her face in ways I couldn't explain. I couldn't bear to keep looking at her, because her stare held something I couldn't name.
