I was sitting in my office, coffee in hand, enjoying the view, when suddenly someone bursts in. That someone turned out be my best friend/ manager Caroline. Looking more outrageous than ever. "Seriously Diane?! This is the 10th one you scared off." She said trying not to look annoyed. By the 10th one she meant my assistant. "Oh come on. She wasn't even that good she was always telling me her little sob stories and her life. Like I could care less about her personal life." I said not even looking at her. "So you traumatize the poor girl who's just trying to have small talk with her boss?" She said getting more and more annoyed. "Ok. You are my best friend since college you know I suck at small talk." I said looking bored. "Ok whatever. I have another guy named Alexander coming for an interview for the assistant position. You better not make him quit too." She said as she slammed the door on her way out. She is so dramatic. I headed out to see a guy waiting outside. I looked at him for a moment too long. He looked so familiar I couldn't put my finger on who he was though. Until, I remembered he's..... Alexander Ferraro the same guy who used to bully me and stopped after middle school just to play with me in high school. What was he doing here?! I just hate the very nerve of him of even showing up at my company.
