Finally, the day had come when they would start their travels in this world.
They were already inside the cave where their domain entrance was; they had already completed their mock battles and used their laws to battle too.
The amount of chaos law they could produce with the spirituality of level 3 was still less, as level 3 is just beginner level.
They walked out and saw the real world for the first time in their lives. The atmosphere here didn't have chaos and life in abundance, but all the laws were present in the atmosphere in very little amounts; the one that was in abundance here was the spiritual energy, and its concentration was way higher than in their domain.
They were on the mountain of the Khazret mountain range, and the nearest city from their place was Lonest City; it was at least a two-day travel for them at their top speed, and since they were going to rest in between, it would take them about three days to get there.
"Let's move, sis, we have a long journey ahead," Lucy said to his sister and sprinted in the direction of the city, and Eve followed him.
Although this mountain range acted as a natural barrier between the Human Kingdom and the Demon Kingdom, there still existed a trade route between them.
Demons were born when a creature or beast reached the immortal level; once they reached that level, they were able to change themselves into human forms. They couldn't be physically recognized as beasts, but recognizing them was still easy because of demonic energy which is easy to sense.
When these demons bred with humans or other races, the born babies were termed as half-breeds, with some human features and some beast features. The majority of the Demon Kingdom was filled with half-breeds, as these half-breeds themselves reproduced and produced more half-breeds.
Humans and demons were generally enemies, but not to the level that they wanted to kill each other on sight. So, trade routes were developed across the Khazret mountain range to connect both kingdoms.
They were going to one of the nearest routes for ease of their travels. Eve had already donned her hood, and they had also changed the color of their hair and eyes to simple black.
After traveling for six hours while taking some breaks, they finally reached the desired route. It was completely empty right now because the traffic was less on these routes.
"Why aren't you wearing your hood, brother?"
"I don't think that will be necessary, sis; although I'm handsome, I'm just a male anyway."
"Hah, whatever, but remember, if I saw you trying to flirt with any girl or woman, I will break your bones."
"Why would I even do that? After living with heavenly beauties like you and Mom, I doubt I would even feel anything from other women." He was lying about that, although his taste in beauty had already upgraded to new heights where only beauties comparing to Aunt Ella were able to make him feel that they are his standards, he has dragon blood, he can fuck any beautiful any girl as long as she is little beautiful.
"As long as you remember that, brother, everything will be fine." Eve really was scary in this matter... ahh, but he still wanted to taste different beauties of different races in this world... well, whatever, he would try that in the future if possible.
They started their journey in the morning, and the sun was totally above them. If they hadn't taken this route, they would have taken a lot of time crossing mountains. With this trade route, they still had at least three days of travel. "If we could already fly, it would have been easier, huh."
Once someone had strong enough spirituality, they could easily fly in this world. So, to fly in this world, one had to reach level 6 of mortal laws.
"And we are very far from that."
"Let's speed up, sis." Once they walked a little while to rest, they decided to speed up.
Trade routes were not safe either, since bandits always had an eye on these routes to loot the trade caravans, and since they were just two people, and one of them was a girl, they would definitely try to attack them.
They were not afraid, though. First thing first, they could always escape to their domain from any part of this world, and second, their strength was strong enough to fight even level 5 mortal law users as long as they were not some supreme talents who used supreme laws too.
And with the two of them working together, they could easily fight five level 5 users at one time; their synergy was just that great. They could understand each other like they were reading each other's minds.
But Lucy doubted that bandits could gather that kind of strength because, if they could, then they wouldn't be bandits anymore.
While they were sprinting, they saw a caravan going toward Lonest City.
"Oh, with that cage, I have no doubt it's a slave caravan, but its size is small, and only six slavers are escorting it. Are they that confident in their skills?" Lucy said that while he brought out his own hood and wore it.
These hoods that their mom had given them were artifacts imbued with concealment law, so these artifacts could hide their presence and also make them invisible as long as they could provide it with their spiritual energy.
The longest duration they could hide their presence was about an hour, while invisibility was half an hour, and if they activated both, they could maintain them for about 20 minutes.
And 20 minutes were enough for them to gather intel from the caravan.
Even in their invisibility, they could still see each other, as they allowed each other to see one another.
"Let's see what they have in there. How about you wait here while I gather some information, sis?"
"Why bother? They are just six people anyway. I will come with you, and if they are weak, we will just attack them."
"Fine, let's go." Lucy had already expected this kind of reply from her.
They reached the caravan and saw the cage that was hidden with a thin veil. It was hard to determine what specific beast it was, but it definitely was a beast, not a human, and there was only one beast inside that caravan.
Unless someone was using any concealment artifact, anyone could determine their strength by looking at them with their spiritual eyes. When he saw their levels, he knew they were not as weak as they thought: two level 5 mortal law users, three level 4 ones, and all of them were half-breeds.
No wonder they were not afraid, but why this strong setup for a mere one beast? Lucy looked into the eyes of Eve, and she looked back at him; she understood him, and they calmly followed the group to listen to their voices.

"So, how are we going to sell her? Should we auction her?" a middle-aged man who was at level 4 asked this.
"You really have a death wish, don't you? Even if a word of it got out, we will be wiped from this planet. We have to find a perfect middleman first who won't betray us, although the chances will be low because if they knew her true identity, they will definitely betray us to take all the profits.
And since we can't do that, the thought of an auction should be removed from our heads.
So, all we can do is get as much as we can from directly selling her to a dealer I have already talked with," the level 5 guy replied with a grim expression.
"But how many spiritual stones will they bring? Although you told them to bring as much as they can, what if it's still not enough? You know she is priceless, after all," the other level 5 stated after he heard his companion.
"I know, that's why I said, we will close the deal with as much as we can get. We are not strong enough to deal with the consequences anyway."
After listening to their talks filled with dread, they were really curious to know what type of beast they had captured.
The classification of beasts was somewhat similar to the classification of talents in human beings.
They were:
Mythical beasts
Heavenly beasts
Common beasts
The beasts don't get random affinity, their affinity depends on their bloodline, even talents too, bloodline is everything for them.
Mythical beast meant the beast had supreme talent, but that didn't mean they also had supreme laws too. That's why some mythical beasts were way stronger than other mythical beasts, like dragons, known as the kings of beasts.
Beasts also absorbed laws and leveled up in a similar way as humans did.
And since these six were talking like that, the beast inside the cage couldn't be a common beast; although some common beasts were rare and very valuable, they shouldn't be this cautious.
