Chapter 151 - Civil War Erupts, Dazzling Chaos

Everyone nodded. Thanks to Lin Feng, the Avengers had been formed ahead of schedule.

But so far, there hadn't been a single coordinated operation. Basically, everyone was doing their own thing.

S.H.I.E.L.D. agents handled their own missions, Tony Stark carried out his personal heroics.

Everyone had their own priorities.

No one had ever fully assembled.

The last time they had gathered on such a scale was during the Chitauri invasion.

When the team gathered at this magnitude again, it was no longer just an internal dispute—it was on a civil war level.

"Your Majesty!"

Seeing this figure, Captain Steve Rogers sighed helplessly. Great, here comes another super-powered fighter.

"Ross has given me thirty-six hours to bring you back!" Tony Stark said. "Twenty-four hours have already passed—help your brother out!"

"You've got the wrong person!" Captain America protested.

But Tony shot back, "Your judgment is flawed!"

"Your old ally killed a lot of innocents yesterday!"

"There are five other super-soldiers like him. I can't let that doctor find him first—I just can't!" Steve said, fully aware of what he was doing. He was trying to prevent an even bigger crisis.

"Steve, you know what's coming next!" Black Widow appeared, speaking softly. "Are you going to fight your way through again?"

Steve Rogers looked around, but before he could respond, Tony couldn't hold back anymore.

"All right, I've lost patience, Underwear Baby!"

His patience had run out. Secretary Ross hadn't given him much time.

At that moment, a web shot out, snatched Steve's shield from his hand, spun it in midair, and landed it on a car roof.

The armor had been upgraded—undoubtedly Tony's handiwork.

"Nice job, kid!"

Tony complimented.

Spider-Man, a little nervous under the praise, began babbling.

"The landing was a bit rough, still adjusting to the new suit…"

"But these are minor issues, Mr. Stark…"

"The outfit is perfect, thank you!"

Tony interrupted, sighing. "We don't need to start chatting!"

Clearly, Tony had grown accustomed to Spider-Man's chatter over time.

"All right, Captain, I'm Spider-Man, your fan," Spider-Man said, getting excited seeing Steve Rogers as well.

Both Tony and Steve were his idols—seeing them together overwhelmed the young hero.

"All right, we'll talk later," Tony said, exasperated.

"You're so busy!"

Steve calmly remarked.

"You're so foolish!" Tony snapped. "You dragged Clint in, rescued Wanda from where she didn't want to leave!"

"I'm trying to provide a safe place. I'm trying to prevent you from splitting the Avengers!"

Tony's frustration grew. He was trying to repair the rifts in the Avengers, cleaning up messes, yet they kept creating new problems.

"When you signed the agreement, we were already split!" Steve said coldly.

Tony had no argument—convincing him was impossible. The question of signing had already become irreconcilable.

"Hand over Barnes, and come with us. Now. It's still us!" Tony said firmly.

"Otherwise, a S.H.I.E.L.D. special ops unit will intervene—they won't hold back, believe me!"

Tony made a final effort to resolve things peacefully. He felt responsible, obliged. But Steve's counterattack was imminent.

Falcon, Sam, had located the Quinjet they intended to use, and Ant-Man, Scott, was already moving.

Civil war—erupted!

Those watching outside tensed. As suspected, it was the accords. Because of the accords, Tony had to obey the authorities, capture Winter Soldier Bucky, and even clash with Steve Rogers.

Tony wondered how he had ever agreed to such a ridiculous plan. If it were him now, there was no way.

He might as well be killed before agreeing to such terms.

Others understood as well. Civil war was inevitable. Both sides had their priorities, believing their own mission was the most critical.

Steve worried that if the other five Winter Soldiers were awakened, the consequences would be unimaginable. Five of them together could destabilize a small country's government.

Tony only cared about his allies' safety. If Steve refused to compromise, a special military unit would intervene.

Steve was risking everyone, while Tony didn't trust him and didn't care about Bucky's fate.

Under normal circumstances, they could discuss, debate, or negotiate. But now, time was too tight, and each trusted only themselves.

Both were overconfident and suspicious of each other.

Steve looked at Tony, clearly responding to Tony's earlier doubts.

Tony didn't believe him—he never would. He thought Steve was brainwashed by the Winter Soldier.

Tony was helpless. He didn't understand why his future self wouldn't listen, likely pressured by Ross, unable to judge whether Steve was truthful.

At that moment, someone appeared, catching Nick Fury's attention.

Ant-Man, Scott Lang, shrank to ant-size, then expanded, kicking Spider-Man and retrieving the shield.

"What's happening?" many shouted. How could someone change size like that?

This was clearly a new superpower they had never seen.

Only Nick Fury's eyes widened. This was the ability of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Being at the top of S.H.I.E.L.D., he knew almost everything except some Hydra secrets.

He remembered the agents—Ant-Man and Wasp.

Hank Pym had developed the Pym Particles, allowing size alteration. One of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top agents at the time.

An accident occurred during a mission—specifically, Wasp went missing. Only Hank knew the truth.

Hank eventually left S.H.I.E.L.D. to form Pym Technologies.

Seeing Ant-Man here was unexpected. Judging by age, this must be the second Ant-Man. Hank would be over sixty, far too old for this kind of battle.

"What's going on?" War Machine, Rhodes, asked, confused.

Once the Avengers' civil war began, it became uncontrollable. The viewers outside saw a dazzling, chaotic battle, each superhero displaying incredible strength far beyond normal humans.

Even when holding back to avoid killing each other, the fight was thrilling. Conversations continued mid-battle.

The fight spanned from the ground to the skies.

New heroes displayed astonishing abilities.

Falcon's high-tech wings, Spider-Man's incredible strength, Black Panther's martial arts, Wanda's chaos magic potential—all shone for the first time.

Thor felt a surge of excitement, eager to join the fray.

Odin, observing his son, understood his desire. Thor was notorious in Asgard as a battle-hungry warrior; anyone with combat ability would eventually face him.

"Wow, amazing fight! I want to join too," Thor exclaimed.

Odin smacked his head lightly. "Those are your current or future teammates. Them fighting—how is that good for you? This isn't a simple sparring match. They may hold back initially, but eventually, someone will get hurt."
