Seeing Doctor Strange, Lin Feng's first reaction was to stay far away from him, because Doctor Strange was connected to a super big shot, one of the few Father-level figures in the first phase of Marvel, the Ancient One.
Doctor Strange was key to the Ancient One's ability to retire safely in the future, so she had always been paying attention to his affairs. Lin Feng didn't want to be noticed by the Ancient One at the moment.
Although the Ancient One didn't have the absurd abilities of the TVA, she was undoubtedly the biggest of big shots in the current Marvel. Who knew how many dimensional demon gods she had killed?

Others, like the Ancient One, or Odin, or even the extremely powerful Thanos, at least had a physical form!
But this Dormammu was different. He was completely integrated with the Dark Dimension. Basically, as long as the Dark Dimension wasn't destroyed, he would always exist. How do you fight against such a being?
You simply can't!
Only the magical side, like the Ancient One, can fight against him using magical methods, and even then, it requires using the Three Sanctums to form an array to block Dormammu's arrival.
