"I'll buy some groceries for you and Wendy first," Noah said, "then we'll go train together."
"Training? What kind of training?"
Natsu tilted his head in surprise. Noah glanced back at him, his tone sly and tempting.
"Do you want to become stronger? Stronger than Gray the guy who just stripped off his shirt to fight you? Do you want to surpass him?"
Natsu didn't even think before answering.
"Of course I do!"
"Good. Gray and the others train with me regularly. That's why they've gotten so strong."
"I want to train too!"
Natsu's eyes lit up with excitement. Even though this was only their first real day together, the idea of being weaker than Gray gnawed at him. He wanted to surpass him no matter what.
Walking ahead, Noah couldn't help but chuckle to himself. As expected, the moment Gray's name was mentioned, Natsu got fired up instantly.
Was this fate at work?
Noah pushed through the crowd of guild members, gently pulling Wendy, Ultear, and the others free from the mob of curious wizards.
Once outside, Erza and Ultear both let out a sigh of relief. Noah noticed Wendy's wide, teary eyes. For such a shy girl, being surrounded like that was exhausting.
"They really were over the top," Ultear said, shaking her head. "Much more than when we joined the guild ourselves."
"Of course," Noah said with a small smile. "Wendy's young, cute, and new it's only natural. Don't worry, the excitement will calm down soon.
Wendy will be living at my house from now on. For now, I'll leave Natsu and Wendy with you. Go pick up whatever daily necessities they'll need. You can decide what to buy. I'll head ahead and prepare the training ground. Once you've finished shopping, leave the things at home and meet us there."
Erza's face immediately lit up, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.
"Leave it to us! I'll make sure Wendy looks absolutely beautiful!"
Ultear sighed, shaking her head as she glanced at Erza's eager expression.
"Just leave it to us," she told Noah. "Go on ahead."
"Alright. I'll be waiting."
Leaving Natsu in their care, Noah made his way toward the training grounds near his home. When he arrived, he found Laxus and several guild members already working out, sparring, and practicing magic.
After exchanging greetings, Noah moved to an open area beside them and began setting up. Magic circles glimmered across the earth as he constructed barriers, reinforced targets, and prepared the space for intense training.
When the arrangements were nearly finished, he looked up and sensed Ultear and the others approaching.
"It's huge! Is this entire place the training ground?"
Natsu's voice echoed as he followed Erza to the gates. His eyes went wide as he looked at the massive wall, three meters high and stretching an unknown distance across, the Fairy Tail insignia painted boldly across its surface.
"Of course," Erza explained matter-of-factly. "All this land was bought by Noah. He even flattened the mountain that used to stand here to build the training grounds."
Natsu's jaw dropped.
"Buy it?! And then flatten a mountain?!"
"Naturally. Noah's an S-Class wizard," Erza continued. "The rewards from the S-Class jobs he takes are enormous. He can afford it."
"S-Class wizard? What's that?" Natsu asked, still staring in disbelief.
"An S-Class wizard is a title granted only to those strong enough and officially recognized by the Guild Master."
"Once you become an S-Class wizard, you can take on more dangerous and higher-paying S-Class commissions," Erza explained.
"But those commissions are extremely dangerous. If you're not careful, you could lose your life. That's why only the strongest are allowed to take them."
"S-Class wizard? I want to be one too!" Natsu exclaimed, fists clenched and eyes blazing.
"You?" Erza gave him a pointed look. "It's still far too early. First, we start with training.
This training ground is very special. You could say it's unique to our guild. I've never heard of another guild having something like this."
Erza stopped and pointed proudly at the enormous structure before them. Ultear, Sorano, and the others watched with fond smiles, while Natsu and Wendy stared at the towering wall curiously.
In the middle stood a two-meter-high, two-meter-wide door. The heavy gate was closed tight. Beyond it lay Fairy Tail's secret training grounds.
Natsu, impatient as ever, demanded, "So? What's so special about it?"
"You'll know once you and Wendy go in. Just push the door open," Ultear said gently.
Excited, Natsu and Wendy walked forward. Natsu pressed his palms against the door. As he pushed, the Fairy Tail emblem on his body glowed faintly. The door opened smoothly, and Wendy followed right behind him. Her emblem shimmered as well.
The two stepped inside and immediately froze.
Wendy's eyes widened, her voice full of wonder. "The air here… it's so fresh!"
"To be precise," Erza explained as she and the others entered, "the concentration of magical particles here is far higher than normal.
Noah used ritual spells and other magics to condense the surrounding ethernano into this training ground, maintaining a constant high density.
For us mages, this means we can recover magic faster, and over time, the very quality of our magic improves.
It's an incredible advantage for daily training. And more than that, only guild members with the Fairy Tail emblem can enter this place. Anyone else is automatically kept out.
There are many other functions as well, which you'll discover gradually."
"Amazing!" Wendy whispered.
"Of course. It's Noah, after all," Erza said proudly.
Ultear, Sorano, and the others all nodded in agreement. They had watched this place being built bit by bit. At first, they recognized that Noah was using ritual magic, but later, the complexity had far surpassed anything they could identify. That didn't lessen their pride it only deepened it.
"Alright, let's head over. Noah's calling us," Ultear said when she saw him waving them forward.
They walked deeper into the grounds, passing rows of neatly divided training squares. Each grid was outlined in glowing lines of different colors, with guild members inside training hard.
Natsu's eyes wandered. Some areas had large black grids, sealed off so tightly that nothing could be seen inside.
"What about those ones with the different-colored lines?" he asked Erza.
"You'll find out soon enough," she replied calmly.
"What the ?!" Natsu muttered, frustrated at her secrecy. But with no answer, he had no choice but to sulk and keep walking.
At last, they reached Noah. Two square grids lay near his position, one outlined in red, another in blue, and a third yellow grid right beside them. Inside, Laxus was training, lightning flashing around him as he moved.
He noticed them approach, gave a small nod in greeting, and then went right back to his fierce practice.
