Chapter 101 - Chapter 101: Natsu is living in my house? No way!

"As expected, Natsu you really can eat fire."

Noah looked at the scarf-wearing boy as he finished gulping down the golden flames, then asked curiously:

"So, what good does it do you to eat flames?"

Natsu licked his lips with satisfaction. In just a few seconds, his energy visibly returned.

"I can recover my magic and strength by eating fire!"

Ultear, watching from nearby, turned to Wendy.

"If the Fire Dragon Slayer can eat flames, then what about the Sky Dragon Slayer? What do you eat?"

Wendy, who had been shaken by Noah and Natsu's fight, still had tears at the corners of her eyes. Hearing the question, she flinched and stammered:

"D-Don't hit me!"

Ultear quickly knelt down and wrapped the small girl in a gentle hug, patting her back.

"I'm not trying to hit you, sweetheart. I'm just asking can you eat something, like how Natsu eats fire?"

Wendy sniffled, thinking of Natsu munching on flames. In a small whisper, she answered:

"I… I can eat air."

A ripple of laughter moved through the guild.

"Ohhh, so you can even live on the northwest wind? That's pretty easy to feed!"

Noah smirked as he teased.

Ultear shot him a sharp glare before turning back to Wendy.

"Don't listen to him. Tell me how much Dragon Slayer magic can you use?"

"I don't use offensive magic like Natsu… mine is only support magic," Wendy said timidly, her eyes brimming with tears again.

"Support magic is also wonderful," Ultear assured quickly, stroking her hair.

Meanwhile, Natsu, still fired up from the duel, shouted, "I can still fight!"

Noah sighed, walked over, and knocked him out with a single punch. Canceling the protective spells around the arena, he hauled Natsu by the scarf toward Makarov.

"Wendy's magic is incredible," Noah declared to the guild. "She can detoxify, bring down fevers, relieve pain, heal wounds… and her support spells are extensive. Who dares to say that isn't impressive?"

Ultear's eyes widened in shock.

"Wendy… do you really know all of that?"

Wendy nodded meekly. "Mm."

"That's amazing, Wendy!" Ultear said warmly. "As far as I know, no other mage's magic can do all those things. Don't worry about not having attack magic what you have is already outstanding."

"Really?" Wendy's face lit up with genuine surprise.

Erza, Cana, and the others quickly joined in, offering their own words of encouragement and praise.

Wendy blushed, lowering her head shyly, her small hands clutching at her skirt.

Seeing her bashful expression only made her seem cuter. With Noah finished handling Natsu, the rest of the guild crowded around Wendy, their curiosity bubbling over.

"Wendy is adorable!"

"How old are you, Wendy?"

"How did you meet Noah?"

The lively guild hall quickly filled with chatter, laughter, and the warmth of Fairy Tail's newest member being welcomed into the family.

Wendy was clearly overwhelmed, and Ultear quickly pulled her into a protective hug. Erza, Cana, and Sorano worked together to hold back the flood of guild members swarming around them. For a moment, the scene was pure chaos.

Meanwhile, Noah approached Makarov, who looked up at him and asked:

"Well? What do you think?"

"His physical ability and magic power aren't weak," Noah answered thoughtfully. "His body is already much sturdier than most kids his age. But it's still not enough to properly sustain Dragon Slayer magic.

Dragon Slayer magic is strong, but the consumption is huge. Judging by what I saw, he can only unleash a few techniques before draining his magic and stamina completely.

I want Natsu and Wendy to train with us regularly. Their magic is too rare to let them walk around unprepared. They need the skills to defend themselves."

Makarov nodded, stroking his beard.

"Then I'll leave those two to you. Do you plan on letting them both live with you?"

"Wendy can, but Natsu definitely can't," Noah said flatly. "Even if he comes to my house, he'll need supervision. From what I saw today, if he and Gray start fighting again in my house, Grandpa… Magnolia itself might blow up."

Makarov imagined the fiery chaos of Natsu's and Gray's constant clashes amidst Noah's delicate research projects. Cold sweat immediately broke out down his back.

"You're right! Absolutely not. Natsu cannot live with you. Keep him away from your house at all costs!"

Noah gave a faint smile. "There's no need to panic that much. Just let Natsu stay nearby. He can train with us, but I'll make sure he doesn't set foot in my house during his outbursts.

By the way, where is he living now?"

"He built himself a little hut in the eastern woods," Makarov replied.

"That's not far from my place. Then it'll work. Gray already moved out with Ur not long ago, so I won't have to worry about fights spilling over there either."

Noah turned to Laxus, who had been quietly listening to everything.

"When you're not away on commissions, train with us too. We now have two Dragon Slayers who were personally taught by dragons. You can learn a lot from sparring with them."

Laxus crossed his arms, frowning slightly. "Do you really believe their story? Dragons raising kids and teaching them Dragon Slayer magic… It doesn't sound real."

"Magic makes the impossible possible, Laxus," Noah said evenly. "The stronger you grow, the more truths you'll uncover. That's why you need to keep training become even stronger."

As soon as he found the chance, Noah encouraged Laxus again, pushing him to chase further strength.

Laxus stared at him intently. "You really do know a lot more than you let on."

"Of course," Noah replied lightly. "I'm capable, so naturally I know plenty of things."

At that, Laxus's gaze sharpened, his expression hardening into something almost hostile.

"Noah… just don't forget your original purpose."

Makarov's voice came in, serious now. Noah's expression shifted, and he bowed his head respectfully.

"I understand, Grandpa. I'll remember."

Seeing Noah's solemn answer, Makarov's sternness melted into a gentle smile.

"Good. As long as you remember that. I'll head back in."

"Then I'll take Natsu and Wendy to pick up some supplies before starting their training."

"I'll head to the training grounds first," Laxus said simply. With that, he gave a brief nod and walked away, while Makarov disappeared back into the guild.

Noah glanced over at Natsu, who was still out cold. With a sigh, he pulled a vial from his coat and poured the potion into Natsu's mouth.

Moments later, Natsu's eyes snapped open. He leapt to his feet, fists clenched, fire practically bursting from him.

"Whoa! I feel great! Did I recover?!"

"Of course. I gave you a potion to restore your strength," Noah said calmly. "Now that you're awake, come with me."

Noah turned on his heel, walking back toward Wendy and the others.

Natsu hurried to catch up. "Where are we going?"
