Chapter 59 - Chapter 33 season 2

Bejad and Terant climb up to the deck of the ship, the surroundings of the majestic ship lose their beauty due to the crew wearing old or neglected clothes, not for lack of money, but out of habit.

A dark-skinned man with a deep scar covering the right side of his face, dressed in a black shirt whose sleeves appeared to have been torn off, and brown pants, approached them and informed them in a relaxed voice:

-The holy Lord Abrham awaits you.

As they walked down a ship's corridor, the white-painted walls adorned with pictures of naked women in various erotic positions, the scarred man, whose name was Cared, laughed. Terant thought as they continued walking, "What is this? A test?"

Even though Bejad was completely covered, Terant could tell he was calm. Within a few seconds, influenced by Bejad, Teran managed to calm down.

After walking for a few minutes, they reached a large wooden door, 3 meters high and two meters wide. Cared opened it without asking permission, and a strong aroma of tobacco and liquor arose. The interior beyond the door was a sumptuous hall with elegant furniture, gilded walls, paintings, a glass ceiling, and hanging magic lights. On an elegant sofa sat a robust man with strong features, red hair and beard, wearing an unbuttoned white shirt that revealed his hairy abdomen, and black pants. This man, at the top of the seventh rank, had a firm and intimidating gaze and asked Bejad in a rough, deep voice:

-How was that bitch? I remember having a lot of fun between her legs. Unfortunately, I was the third. Other idiots had already messed with her, ha ha ha.

"Saint, Mr. Abrham, the saint is fine; she remains a faithful believer in her convictions," Bejad said formally.

"That's fine; when she returns, her body will be juicy. I'll take care of her first, so I can test how firm her convictions are, ha ha ha," Abrham declared.

"How can such a man be a holy lord?" Terant wondered in his mind.

Abraham began to drink wine from a bottle, burped, and then asked Bejad:

-Did they kill that brat?

-No, holy lord, the will of the sun did not will it; only the sun knows how long that young man will live, but I believe his light will go out when he leaves the academy. -Bejad replied in his doctrinal style.

-The sun will always shine! -Abrham exclaimed, sipped wine and continued. -You know, Rinard will not be happy, it was he who received the offering from that woman.

-I will agree with whatever has to happen, in the end, everything is a product of the sun's will. -Bejad answered.

"What a strange guy! He always gives me the creeps," Abrham thought wryly and ordered him:

-Retreat yourself to your friend.

When Bejad and Terant left the sumptuous hall, Abrham looked at Cared and said mischievously:

-Bring me one of the slave girls we bought; I need to fuck to forget the words of that religious man.

Abrham and Cared laughed; soon after Cared left the sumptuous hall to fulfill Abrham's request.

Evans accompanied the instructor to the magical tower, they began to climb a spiral staircase, on the sides they could see the doors of the departments specialized in different types of magic, they continued climbing without stopping. Evans was glad he had trained like a warrior, otherwise he would have had to spend mana constantly to reach the 70th floor where Headmistress Vilian's office was located.

-I withdraw. -Said the instructor, walking quietly down the stairs.

Evans watched him walk away for a few seconds, then turned his gaze towards the Limgic wooden door that had an imposing image of a dragon carved around a volcano.

-Come in! -Headmistress Vilian's feminine but firm voice was heard.

Evans moved toward the door to open it, but before his hand touched the knob, the door suddenly opened and a hot breeze whipped around Evans who shielded himself with a barrier of icy wind.

-Oh, are you a wizard? Why are you behaving like a warrior? -asked the headmistress, being direct.

-Compensating weaknesses, a good physical condition will give me more options, whether I decide to escape or fight, I prefer the second but it depends on what is at stake. -Evans answered without showing fear.

The director stared at him, trying to decipher him, but after a few seconds she only concluded that she was in front of a prodigy who was confident in his talent.

-There is no doubt, you are talented, third circle, it is amazing; but, this year Asert takes the crown, he is at the top of the third circle, by the end of this year he will reach the fourth circle; Most importantly, Asert's circles are stable, his talent must have awakened long before yours, student Evans. Still, it is strange to see two wizards act as warriors, but it is stranger still that they are so powerful at their age. -The headmistress said.

"I too am surprised by the progress of that young man named Asert; but with good guidance, I think Aria can enter the Academy with three consolidated mana circles"

Evans was thinking about Aria while the headmistress was still watching him, he did not try to intervene because he did not want to raise suspicions if he unnecessarily showed an attitude unbecoming of someone of his age.

-Teachers and instructors praise you for what you did Why did you do it? -asked the headmistress.

Evans looked thoughtful, but not wanting to be labeled a hero by the headmistress, he answered:

-I relieved stress by killing those beasts, and incidentally improved my reputation, because for a nobleman in my situation, a little reputation doesn't hurt.

-In your situation? -asked the headmistress, squinting her eyes as she watched him.

-I wish, no. I will be the next Duke of House Qualty. -Evans replied with a firm look and tone.

The headmistress gave him a mischievous smile and said:

-It won't be easy, they already tried to kill you once. How about a job as a teacher in my Academy?

Evans sighed and then replied:

-I would be honored, if I didn't want the duchy; but you're wrong about one thing, it wasn't just an attempt.

The headmistress's gaze darkened, just as she looked at Carion some time ago, with a strong voice imbued with mana she asked him:

-What do you mean?

-You must have a slight idea by now; when I was alone in the forest on the island, almost at the same time the instructor appeared I felt a presence in the sixth circle that disappeared soon after. I don't think they were looking for the saintly Rose, am I wrong? -Evans answered, looking the headmistress in the eye.
