Chapter 6 - Chapter 5

It was night. Evans got up carefully so as not to wake Aria who was sleeping hugging a teddy bear. Evans walked to the window and saw a dark sky. He extended his hand toward the sky, as if he wanted to grab something very far away.

Evans' soul trembles; Evans' heart begins to beat faster. Soul and body were coming into sync.

"What do I long for?"

Evans related his action to a forgotten wish, but since he found no answer, he just lowered his hand and watched the sky for a few more minutes.

The next day.

Evans was sweating heavily, his breathing was labored, he sat up and drank a low-level physical strengthening elixir.

Evans sat down to meditate and felt the properties of the elixir flow through his body, strengthening it little by little.

Several minutes later, he stood up.

"At this rate in two years I will have strengthened my body enough to use almost one percent of my power constantly."

After catching his breath, Evans knew that since he couldn't use the full extent of his power without hurting himself, he had to adapt to the current circumstances.

Evans closed his eyes, he needed to imagine a rival or enemy, but he had no memories.

"Those soldiers who attacked Evans and his family"

That fateful night when the real Evans; Despite the fear they felt, there were some soldiers who dared to attack him.

Evans imagined a soldier who had drawn his sword, covering it with aura; The soldier attacked.

Cut! Blood!

Evans opened his eyes, he had been cut in two with a single attack.

"How weak!"

Evans used his knowledge to evaluate the attack patterns of the soldier he had imagined, as he knew that a being that performed long-term repetitive movements was easy to defeat.

At sunset, immersed in his mind:

The soldier swung his sword, Evanz empowered his body to move agilely and maintain distance.

Evans summoned countless blades with his current power level; The soldier blocked all the blades and prepared to attack, but a flame of fire that erupted from the palms of Evans' hands temporarily stopped his movement.

The flame was cut off by a soldier with burns on some parts of his body; but the soldier did not stop there and swung his sword once more...

Cut! Blood!

Evans opened his eyes again, he was tired and somewhat fatigued. Sitting and leaning on the same tree as him, was Lizet who had fallen asleep with a basket of food in her legs.

Evans took out some food and drink, without waking Lizet. After eating, Evans took Lizet in his arms and walked towards the mansion.

"It's obvious that I wouldn't surpass a warrior at the fourth rank with the current level of this body; that only means that I should try harder."

Evans' maid sees him arriving with Lizet. Shortly after, Evans wakes up Lizet who is startled.

-Thank you for the food.

Lizet smiles sweetly and said:

-It's no big deal; Thank you for bringing me here.

Evans nods and immediately heads to his room.

-Young sir, are you sure you want her to be Aria's maid?

-Yes, it is the best for Aria.

"What's up with that question?"

A month after receiving the elixirs, Evans was meditating after training; In the depths of his mind, Evans continued to face the soldier again and again, currently he was barely able to dodge one or two attacks...

Cut! Blood!

Evans opened his eyes and in front of him were two boys his age.

"Who are they?"

Evans' maid who had walked to the place when she saw the little children approaching, said to him:

-Young sir, this is the second princess Amelia Razvenia and the third prince Dereck Rasvenia.

Evans looked carefully at the prince and princess.

Light blue eyes, clean white skin, golden hair and elegant light-colored clothes were the features that predominated in the appearance of the beautiful princess and the handsome prince.

Evans bowed and introduced himself.

-It is an honor to meet Princess Amelia Razvenia and Prince Dereck Razvenia. I am Evans Qualty, the second son of Duke Alfred Qualty. "May the glory of the empire be Eternal."

Surprised by the sudden introduction, Princess Amelia was the first to react.

-It is an honor to know you. "The heavens will watch over our eternity."

Regardless of the intention by which the princess and prince had approached each other, etiquette and the honor of the Empire were a priority, as Evans learned from some books on etiquette he found in the real Evans' room.

Evans took advantage of the princess and prince's temporary confusion.

-I have to say goodbye, my current state is not worthy of being in your presence.

The princess, who was the most impressed, saw how Evans walked away with his maid and felt like stopping him, but she knew that such an action would be an indiscretion.

-Anne, find out how long the princes will be in the Duchy? You must also bring Aria to my room.

Evans' maid nodded and left after Evans entered his room.

"I don't want them to cause problems for Aria; for now it's best to keep our distance."
