Chapter 7 - Chapter 6

shortly after dawn. Aria was sitting in a chair moving her feet happily while looking at a book with children's illustrations.

Evans on the other hand, was combing Aria's beautiful and shiny hair, while Evans' maid watched them.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Evans' maid opened the door and outside was Henry accompanied by the prince and princess.

Henry carelessly entered the room and said haughtily to Evans:

-Brother, the prince wants to meet our sister.

-Aria! -Evans exclaimed warmly.

-Yes, I already learned it. -Aria said, getting down from the chair to immediately walk until she arrived in front of the prince and princess.

-It is an honor to meet Princess Amelia Razvenia and Prince Dereck Razvenia. I am Aria Qualty, the fourth daughter of Duke Alfred Qualty. "May the glory of the empire be Eternal." --Aria said repeating the words that her brother had taught her.

-It is an honor to know you. "The heavens will watch over our eternity." -Princess Amelia responded elegantly as this time she was alert.

Aria ran into Evans' arms and asked him tenderly:

-Did I do it right?

-Yes my little one, you are very intelligent.

Evans with Aria in his arms approached Henry and handed him something while saying:

-Take good care of your things, next time you can lose more.

When Henry opened his hand he saw the tooth he had lost the day Evans hit him. Henry looked back at Evans and felt a chilling depth staring at him from deep within.

-Prince, princess, my brother likes to be alone lately. We can visit you again when your mood has improved. -Henry indicated, trying to hide how nervous she was.

As the door to Evans' room was closing, Princess Amelia looked at Evans with bright, greedy eyes.

Evans looked at Aria and she smiled tenderly.

-Little sister, next year you will start learning magic.

-Yes, magic. -Aria said.

"There are a lot of vermin everywhere."

Evening. The duchess's room.

-Yes mother, that bastard practically threatened me. -Henry said to his mother with indignation.

The glass of wine the Duchess was drinking broke, but her face and body did not show the slightest sign of disturbance.

-You should not worry, my beloved son; everything will be resolved in the end. -Indicated the duchess.

After Henry left with his maid. The duchess's gaze turned cold.

"My dear Henry, you are a bad seed; and Osvald is worse than that," thought the Duchess as she wrote a letter.

-Janeth, you know what to do. -The duchess said to her maid as she handed her the letter.

-Yes, my lady. -Replied the maid with brown hair, with freckles on her cheeks, and an indifferent expression.

A few days later.

Evans no longer only meditated when practicing his confrontation with the imaginary soldier, he now moved while doing so to avoid trees, bushes, stones or any obstacle, all while keeping his eyes closed and making about one percent of his energy circulate through his body.

Evans knew that there was no room for excuses in battle; Excuses in battle could only be used by the dead.

Bang!

Evans collided with a tree.

In his mind, the sword fell on him.

Cut! blood!

Evans sat down to rest, then took one of the elixirs and meditated to improve the efficiency of the properties that restored and strengthened his physique.

When he finished, Evans headed to his room.

"I am getting stronger at a good rate; but I feel that this body has potential for magic, I will test it in the future if necessary."

Evans entered his room and his maid had already placed a change of clothes on the bed, but what caught Evans' attention was a letter, he opened it and read it.

"Hunting Tournament"

"I think someone wants to hunt me down"

Evans threw the letter on the bed and headed to the bathroom.

Evans took a low-level mana elixir to the bathroom, used a spell with his energy to strengthen the vial, and then began to slowly infuse his power into the mana elixir inside the vial. When both different substances merged, they caused a reaction that was contained in the vial.

"I think I'll have to infuse it with energy for about four days for it to be useful."

When Evans came out of the bathroom, dinner was prepared on a silver table, which was lately being cooked by the cook in the employee dining room, because Evans trusted the rest of the employees who worked in the mansion less.

-Ana, doesn't your day off start today? -Evans asked Ana as she sat down to start eating.

-I'm sorry if I've bothered you. -Ana said.

-Not at all, I am grateful. -Evans responded.

Night. After Ana verified that Evans was lying down, she left. Shortly after, Evans left his room.

Streets of the city of the "Qualty Duchy"; A tall, pale-skinned man with short hair came out of a bar. That man was Carl Nodian, one of the servants of the Duke's mansion and an individual who to this day looked at Evans menacingly.

The moment Carl passed by a dark alley he was dragged and only his screams were heard, but no one came out to help him.

The next day, some inspectors who arrived at the scene closed the area after seeing Carl's body, whose head was completely burned.
