Jay's POV
Flashback:
( when jay was still living with her mom and step dad. Approx. 5 years ago )
I was in the middle of a fight outside my school. Getting into fights was my way of escaping from my miserable and mess life and to vent all my anger out because of the so called step dad of mine.
I was punching and kicking 5 guys on my own. And successfully defeated them. Then, a voice came from behind me,
"Wow, u r really good at this"
Jay: who the hell r u. R u with them.
"Oh no, I am not with. Let's just say I am an admirer of your skills. I am Mason by the way and u r"
He said extending his hand.
Jay: u can call me Jay Jay.
I said shaking his hand.
Jay: now if we r done here, I should be on my way.
Mason: wait, I have one more thing to say.
Jay( irritated ): what
Mason: I am from a big gang called THE LEAGUE and I was sent here by my head to recruit u. He has seen your skills and is amazed by u.
Jay: what's in it for me.
Mason: if u join us then we can help protect u and take revenge on your step dad's.
Jay: how do u know about that.
Mason: we have our ways. So, what will it be then.
Jay: yes, I will join your gang if it means finally having my revenge on them.
Mason: ok then. I have to take u to our head then. It's not that far.
Jay: fine.
We got in his car and drove to their base.
It took us half an hour to get their.
We got out of the car and went inside. The place was huge. He gave me a tour of the place first. They has a huge gym, a shooting range, a boxing ring, and place to relax and watch a tv and much more. Finally at the end of the tour, he took me to their head.
He knocked on a door before entering.
Inside sitting in his chair was a 70 years old looking man with black short hair and was wearing a suit.
Mason: jay, meet our gang's leader.
Head: hello Jay, I have heard so much about u. I am so glad u agreed to join us. I am draco but everyone calls me head.
He extended his hand.
I took it.
Jay: hi, cool place u have got here.
He chuckled.
Head: I am glad u like it.
Jay: so, why did u want to recruit me off all people.
Head: because I see great potential in u. I have seen the way u fight. And I want to use your fighting skills and use them to make u, to make us unstoppable. All u have to do is train and go on some missions every now and then and in return we will help u take revenge on the people that have hurt u.
Jay: if their is revenge on them involved then I am ready to do anything. Just tell me what I have to do.
Head: for now all u have to do is train, not only in mastering the art of fight but also but also learning how to use a gun. But for now u will start by fighting.
Jay: ok.
Head: let's go. I will introduce u to some of our members. Oh, and we also have some rooms here if u would like to stay, some of our other members who don't have a home stay here as well. U see we r not only a gang but also a family to our members.
Jay: I will think about it.
Head:ok.
I followed him and mason to what looked like a hall.
Head: everyone listen up.
Everyone quickly came near the head.
Head: this is Jay Jay. She is a new recruit.
He said pointing towards me.
Head: Jay Jay this Mateo, Aya, Alex, Sheen, Izzy and Penny. Penny will be the one to train u. She is also training Aya who is new here as well, so u will be training together.
Everyone: hi jay, nice to meet u.
Jay: hello.
Head: ok now, I will let u guys be. Enjoy for a little while and bond, ok.
Mason:come on guys, let's go to the watch and eat something.
Everyone: yes let's go.
We went to the screening room and had some fun. I made some new friends.
And for the first time in my life, I could be myself. Be truly happy. I finally felt free.
