"What's going on?! Why is there a Inter-Dimensional Portal?!"
Stephen stared intently at what was happening in front of him, his pupils trembling, all his attention focused on the young man's hands. He had clearly seen that this young man had no Sling Ring! He had opened a Inter-Dimensional Portal with his bare hands?! Had the world gone mad?!
"Wong, tell me this isn't a dream!" He was questioning if he was still asleep. The Sling Ring was the key for sorcerers to focus their magic. Without it, it was nearly impossible to control magic unless you had an extremely high understanding of magic and a natural affinity for it! But... that was just a theory. How could someone like that possibly exist? He was a walking, breathing magical holy body!
Wong finally spoke. "You're not dreaming!"
He had just pinched his own thigh. He couldn't believe a magical genius had actually appeared!
Wong's eyes were nearly bulging out of his head. He had only been passing the time, hoping that on one of these tours, he might find someone with a bit of magical talent. He never imagined that a true magical genius would appear at this very moment. When he saw what was happening, his mind went blank, and it took him a long time to recover.
The tourists around the Sanctum were staring at the brilliant streams of light, their eyes gleaming.
"This is incredible! I can't believe someone is actually casting a spell!"
"I think he came in with us; he's one of the tourists!"
"I thought these books were fake! I can't believe someone actually learned magic!"
"This shouldn't be possible. If it is, I should have been able to cast a spell, too!"
Most of the people who came to the magical library were just looking for entertainment. Even though there were magical books, they didn't take them too seriously. They never expected that one of their fellow tourists would actually learn magic. This made them all try to imitate Cassius's movements, but only he could cast a spell in this situation.
"I can't believe it worked on the very first try."
Cassius looked at the open Inter-Dimensional Portal, his mouth twitching as he muttered to himself. He had just picked up an ancient book that happened to have the spell for a Inter-Dimensional Portal. He thought he would need a Sling Ring to open it, but after reading the instructions, he tried it anyway.
He just had to visualize the location, make a circle with his hand, and the golden light instantly appeared. He couldn't believe it was that easy. He had a sneaking suspicion it was because he was already imbued with magical energy, and with his God-Tier Magic Talent, it became even easier to cast.
"First try?!"
Even though Cassius had muttered to himself, Stephen and Wong heard him. When they heard those words, Stephen, who was usually calm, almost fell to his knees.
"You're telling me you succeeded on your first try?!"
Stephen clearly remembered that under the tutelage of the Ancient One, he had practiced day and night, spending countless hours and a great deal of effort to open a Inter-Dimensional Portal. He had to endure both mental and physical strain to achieve this.
But even with all that, he had not succeeded! It was only after being sent to a snowy mountain, when he was pushed to his limit, that he was able to open the Inter-Dimensional Portal.
The young man's words were like a steel blade, pushing the usually calm Stephen to the brink of an existential crisis.
On his first try?!
How could he even say such a thing?! This man was an absolute monster!
"Unbelievable. Is this what a true genius looks like?" Wong's throat bobbed as he looked at Stephen with a strange expression. The Ancient One had told him that Stephen Strange was a once-in-a-century prodigy. And Stephen had shown great talent under her guidance.
But compared to the young man in front of them, he wasn't even on the same level. For a moment, Wong wondered if he had brought back the wrong person. The one the Sorcerer Supreme spoke of should have been this young man.
"He's a monster!" Wong had lived for centuries, but this was the first time he had seen something like this. It was more than just shocking. In today's terms, it was mind-blowing!
"Who exactly is this guy?" Stephen took a deep breath, his voice trembling slightly. His mind was racing, but he couldn't figure out the young man's origins. If this really was his first time, the Ancient One would probably have to change the successor to the Sorcerer Supreme to this young man.
As they stood there in awe, Cassius stopped what he was doing. The shimmering golden Inter-Dimensional Portal slowly disappeared.
"I think this is how it goes..." Cassius frowned, recalling the words from the magical book. He stretched out his hands and waved them. The temperature in the Sanctum dropped rapidly.
'Blizzard!' Cassius thought to himself.
The next moment, a gigantic circular golden spell formation appeared above the library. A brilliant light filled the room, and everyone's eyes widened.
Whoosh!
In the next second, snowflakes began to fall from the sky. As the snow fell, it turned into a raging blizzard. The wind picked up, sending papers and books flying everywhere. The tourists, who were watching in astonishment, saw their own breath turn to fog. The fierce wind forced them to bend over, trying their best to resist it.
In an instant, the temperature inside dropped from 18 degrees Celsius to negative 3 degrees. In the blink of an eye, the entire library was covered in a blanket of snow. As far as the eye could see, everything was a brilliant white.
