Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE — “A Voice Before the Fall”

"Are you truly ready for this?"

The chamber stood suspended beyond time—where starlight had long since faded, and silence weighed heavier than eternity.

Two figures faced the breach in the world's boundary, a tear of raw chaos pulsing with impossible energy. Reality warped around it, unraveling in strands, as if resisting the existence of the wound.

One of them stood calm at the edge, her presence radiant but unraveling at the seams. Her eyes, once bright, were now deep with acceptance. The other stood just behind her, cloaked in flickering patterns of forgotten truths, voice trembling despite the ageless wisdom she carried.

"You know what sealing it will cost," the second figure said softly. "You won't survive it—not as you are."

"I know," the first replied, her voice like a sigh carried by the wind. "That's why it must be me."

"You'll lose everything—your form, your power, your memories. Even your name."

A sad smile curved the first one's lips. "And yet... you will still find me."

The breach howled in silence, stretching open like a wound across the stars.

"This isn't just one life you're giving up," the second figure whispered. "It's every one of them. Your echoes will scatter into the cycle, fragmented across timelines. You'll forget who you are."

The first nodded. "But someone has to do it. If I don't... everything ends."

The air pulsed. Light began to peel away from her skin, like threads of woven starlight coming undone.

The second figure reached forward, desperate to hold on. "If you vanish... I will search. Across time, across lives. I'll find you. Again and again."

The first looked back one last time. "Then I'll keep walking until you do."

She stepped into the breach.

A flood of light. A silent scream. Then—nothing.

Time fractured.

And far away, in a quiet forest where flowers bloomed without reason, a girl opened her eyes beneath a canopy of leaves. The sun touched her skin. The breeze whispered through her hair.

She didn't remember her name.

Didn't remember anything at all.

But someone did.

A voice lingered in the silence—unseen, waiting.

Watching.

Guiding.

Until the thread of who she was could begin to mend again.
