Odin was about to speak again when all of Asgard suddenly shook.
A distant building in the temple grounds exploded, alarms shrieking across the realm.
Automated defense beasts roared to life, spewing firepower as countless shells arced into the skies.
Gatekeeper Heimdall bellowed in fury—he had just destroyed one cloaked ship sneaking into Asgard.
But behind it came a swarm of cross-shaped warships… and among them, a colossal flagship.
Odin's heart clenched. His eyes widened in horror.
"Dark Elves! The Dark Elf army!!"
The king's roar echoed as he raced to the energy core of the realm's shield.
Thousands of black warships pierced the heavens, weaving between defenses with shark-like agility, raining fire upon Asgard.
"Fools of Asgard! Your king is decrepit, your son is weak, and you've forgotten the truth of war! I, Malekith, will wash your realm in blood!"
The Dark Elf leader sneered from his command throne.
His ambush caught Asgard unprepared. Buildings crumbled, civilians perished beneath fire.
Odin's gaze darkened with pain. His age weighed heavily—his strength nearly gone.
Yet he looked at Saitama, a faint glimmer of reassurance flickering.
So long as this trump card remained, Asgard still had hope.
"Daisy, Thor—the prison riot is yours. I must face the frontlines."
Odin's solemn decree stunned healers and warriors alike.
Even Odin spoke to Saitama as an equal. Truly, only this so-called Demon King of Terror could command his respect.
Saitama shrugged, following Thor toward the prison while Odin rallied Asgard's armies.
The realm burned.
…
The prison boiled with chaos.
Convicts howled, armed themselves with stolen weapons, cut down guards, and surged for freedom.
Thor descended in thunder, clad in his armor, hammer in hand.
"Return to your cells now, and I will plead with Father for mercy!"
His voice boomed with authority, lightning crackling around him.
For a heartbeat, order held.
Then—
Bang!
A shield smashed into Thor's face, nearly flattening him. He stumbled, barely staying upright.
"Damn you Asgardian scum! I'll kill you!"
"Slaughter them all!"
"Leave no one alive!"
The riot reignited in fury.
Thor flushed with humiliation. The future king, struck like a fool before soldiers and criminals alike.
He roared, trying to bury shame beneath rage.
…
Saitama stood beside a golden cell—Loki's.
"You look confused, Loki. Why hide behind illusions?"
Dead-fish eyes blinked, and the illusion melted.
The true Loki slumped on the floor, hair a mess, eyes hollow. Despair clung to him like rot.
But under Saitama's gaze, icy dread coiled through his veins.
"You're not so bad… for now."
Saitama muttered, uninterested.
His eyes drifted over the battlefield where Thor flailed and prisoners rampaged.
Dragging Loki by the collar, he called out:
"Hey, Thor! Bring them closer."
Then, his voice thundered across the dungeon:
"All of you—stop now. Return to your cells. Don't make me repeat myself."
The prison fell silent.
Every convict stared at the bald man.
Then came the scoffs.
"A bald brat?"
"Who the hell are you?"
"Kill every Asgardian! Leave the women!"
Weapons flew at him.
Saitama's stomach growled.
"…I gave you a chance, but you didn't cherish it."
His fist rose.
"Time to eat after this."
He swung.
"Normal Punch!"
