Chapter 168 - Chapter 168: Those Who Cross the Circle Will Die! Loki, I’ll Take You to Fight Monsters!

Boom—

A deafening blast shook the heavens!

The terrifying shockwave of a fist tore through the prison. The convicts marked with negative Justice Values didn't even have time to scream before they exploded on the spot.

The god-forged underground dungeon cracked like rotten wood. Stones shattered, walls collapsed, and blinding sunlight pierced down through the ruins.

Silence.

Dust settled.

Everyone stood frozen, drenched in cold sweat.

A bottomless fissure, hundreds of meters long, split the prison clean in half.

Entire buildings lay in ruins, carved open as if by divine judgment.

A quarter of the inmates vanished with that single blow.

"Haaah…"

Saitama exhaled, lowering his fist with faint disappointment. At least he hadn't accidentally destroyed the palace this time.

"Now then… do you plan to go back to your cells?"

His dead-fish eyes swept across the mob.

Thud!

An orc warrior collapsed to his knees, trembling uncontrollably, weapon clattering from his hand.

Thud. Thud. Thud.

Like dominoes, one prisoner after another knelt.

None dared meet his gaze.

Even Asgard's warriors found themselves kneeling instinctively before the bald monster who had punched through Asgard's prison itself.

A being equal to the All-Father.

"I-I won't rebel again!"

"Forgive me, Lord!"

"I'll go back right now—please, lock me up again!"

"Wait, my cell's destroyed! Please, rebuild it for me, I swear I'll behave!"

The savage brutes of moments ago now wept and begged like children.

Some even grabbed shackles themselves, handing them to the soldiers.

Better prison than facing this bald demon king.

Three meals a day, free housing, exercise—what more could they want?

And so, the dungeon fell eerily quiet.

Even Thor was stunned into silence, face burning with humiliation.

Then, a scream split the air.

Both Thor and Loki jolted as their eyes burned crimson.

"No—Mother!!"

Frigga lay dead, slain by Malekith and the cursed warrior Algrim.

Thor roared, lightning surging, hurling himself toward the queen's chambers.

But he was too late.

Malekith sneered as he fled, leaving only ruin behind.

Back in the prison, the convicts obeyed without chains.

No walls were needed—Saitama's circle drawn on the ground was enough.

Cross it, and die.

Fear etched itself into every heart.

"...Saitama!"

Loki suddenly cried out, desperate.

Tears streaked his face, his once-smirking composure shattered.

"I beg you—help me! Avenge my mother! I'll do anything! Anything you want!"

The trickster prince knelt in the dust, trembling, blood staining his hands.

He was mocked as weak, rejected by Odin, overshadowed by Thor.

But now grief burned away his pride.

Saitama scratched his cheek, tilting his head.

"Hmm… fine. Not a big deal."

A casual tap shattered the golden barrier of the cell.

Loki staggered out, stunned, then overjoyed.

Saitama's dead-fish eyes blinked.

"Let's go, Loki. Time to fight some monsters."

Lightning crackled.

Together, the bald hero and the weeping prince shot toward the battlefield.
