Rachel hadn't picked up Nicholas's calls after they got married.
Her phone vibrated non-stop for three days, but she always turned it off, telling herself she didn't owe him a thing.
She always thought back to the night they had shared together, she kept saying it was just for him to have a child, Nothing more.
She had the thoughts in her head, while she struggled to focus on the papers before.
But, every time she thought about that night, she felt a hot tremble inside, and she hated that.
Hated how her lips remembered how his felt.
Hated how her body had let her down.
She pushed her pen harder on the paper, acting like the signature needed that much pressure.
The office door opened with a creak. She didn't even need to raise her head.
"You're not talking to me, Mrs. Grey," Nicholas said in a smooth, slow voice.
Rachel didn't even move. "And you're not supposed to be here."
