Larissa's POV
It was hopeless trying to fall asleep after what had happened!
We were so close until we got interested. I doubt I will feel the need to try this again after….
"Get the physician!"
The front door swings open and Darrell staggers in, covered in blood. Peter had his arms around his waist to keep him steady.
I stared at him in horror, the sight before me was terrifying!
Darrell had lost a lot of blood, no doubt, and the fact that he was still standing remains a puzzle to me.
I hurried to his side, trying my best to look past his bleeding cuts.
"What happened?"
"He got hurt," Peter said simply as he laid Darrell on the bed.
I wasn't sure what to do exactly. Should I tend to his wounds, or should I stay away?
The smell of blood filled the room, and its scent was overwhelming; it hit me weak to the knees…
"Alpha? The Physician will be here in a moment. Please keep your eyes open…"
"How did this happen?" I cried, staring at Darrell in confusion.
