—Why can't humans fly? Why can't they breathe underwater or run as fast as a cheetah?
—From my point of view, it's because life doesn't want to be unfair. We humans already have enough advantages over other living beings… why give us more?

—And that's why those very beings allow us to feel like we're a part of them. When we form a bond with one, our limits as humans dissolve, and the doors to an unexplored, unseen world begin to open.
—How would you like to swim through the ocean without the fear of drowning? Or fly through the skies without the need for technology or magic? All of this is possible thanks to those creatures who, in exchange for something —which you'll only discover once you've bonded with one— allow us to share their gifts.

The one who's supposed to be my father
Was something I never thought I'd hear, unless I was dreaming or inside a video game.
But I couldn't rule it out… after all, I had just been born.
Why would anyone give that kind and amount of information to a newborn baby?
Then again, maybe I shouldn't be that surprised… I understood everything. I got a pretty good idea of the kind of world I've... been reborn into?
I'm not sure if that's the right word, but for now, it'll do.
Either way, that man, Albert, must have a screw loose, or something like that.
