Synopsis
In a world where strength is measured by the beasts you command, aspiring tamers flock to prestigious academies to bond with legendary creatures. Among them is Ryujin Jormungandr, a brilliant yet scorned outcast. Despite his intellect and innate talent, a failed taming ritual brands him as Beastless Trash, a shame that costs him his future, his family’s honor, and his rightful place among elite beast tamers. But fate is mercilessly cunning. Banished to the wilderness, bleeding, humiliated, Ryujin stumbles upon an ancient ruin older than recorded history… the Sanctum of Dracarys, home to the Eternal Dragon Legacy, a mythical inheritance whispered of in forbidden texts. This legacy holds unfathomable power; the ability to command every Dragon in existence, from newborn wyrmlings to divine, world-shattering behemoths. Yet, it comes at a cruel cost. The Curse. All other beast contracts are forever severed. Ordinary taming is impossible. He can never command wolves, lions, or spirit beasts like other tamers. Only Dragons. In a world where taming a single dragon is a near-death miracle, Ryujin Jormungandr now carries the key to taming them all. Marked as a heretic and hunted by those who fear dragon supremacy, he begins a perilous journey to ascend beyond kings and conquerors… …to become the God of Beast Taming, with a dragon army that can shatter empires and defy gods themselves.

Chapter 1 - Power system

[WARNING: Read this chapter at your own risk. Spoilers ahead! If you hate spoilers, my advice is to jump straight to chapter 2.]

1. Beast Taming Power Rankings (Tamers)

Tamers are graded by their ability to command, bond with, and synergize with beasts.

*F-Rank: Can tame only weak, docile beasts. Bonds limited to 1.

*E-Rank: Slightly skilled. Basic control over small magical beasts (e.g., dire wolves). Bonds limited to 2.

*D-Rank: Can tame mid-tier magical beasts (griffins, giant boars). Bonds 3-4.

*C-Rank: Can command elite beasts, initiate dual-command tactics. Bonds 5-6.

*B-Rank: Capable of taming early mythical beasts; small squads of beasts. Bonds 7-8.

*A-Rank: Can command high-level mythical beasts (wyrms, elementals). Bonds 10+.

*S-Rank: Master Tamer. Can tame semi-divine beasts, unique bond synergies, and battlefield-level impact.

*SS-Rank: Only a handful in history. Known to command one true dragon or divine beast. Feared globally.

*SSS-Rank: Mythic, God-Tier. None currently exist. Allows taming all dragons, forging divine soul-links with multiple god-beasts simultaneously. Ryujin's legacy elevates him to this theoretical level on pure talent and potential.

2. Beast Rank System (Creatures)

Every beast in the world has its own power rank:

*Common (F – D): Ordinary magical beasts (wolves, giant boars, dire hawks).

*Elite (C – B): Strong magical beasts, rare hybrids (griffins, saber-tooth lions).

*Mythical (A –S): Legendary beasts with elemental powers (phoenixes, wyrms, thunder serpents).

*Divine (SS –SSS): God-beasts capable of natural disasters and ancient magic. Includes true dragons and primordial entities.

3. Dragon Classifications (Taming Difficulty)

Dragons are separate from normal beasts, possessing intelligence rivaling or surpassing humans. Few tamers in history have ever bonded with them.

*Lesser Drakes: (C – B) Mostly wingless, animalistic dragons, (e.g., Abyssal Drake). Rare but possible to tame by high-tier tamers.

*Wyverns: (B – A) Two-legged flying dragons, cunning but beast-like minds.

*True Dragons: (S – SS) Fully sapient dragons with elemental dominion (Flamewyrms, Frostfangs, Stormbreakers). Near-impossible to tame. Powerful tamers historically died attempting.

*Elder Dragons: (SS – SSS) Ancient, near godlike dragons that can level kingdoms. No recorded successful taming in human history.

*Primordial Dragons: (SSS) Cosmic, world-shaping dragons tied to creation myths. Considered forces of nature rather than beasts. Only the Eternal Dragon Legacy could hope to command them.

4. Taming Mechanics

*Spirit Thread Bond: Normal tamers connect their soul to a beast's, allowing control and communication.

*Submission Types:

- Domination: Overpowering beast's will (unstable bond).

- Harmony: Mutual trust and shared purpose (rare).

- Blood Oath: Beast submits only after mortal combat and respect is earned.

*Dragon Exception: Dragons reject standard taming outright. Their wills are too powerful. Historically, a single dragon bond was considered legendary.

5. Eternal Dragon Legacy (SSS-Rank) [Spoiler Alert!]

The mythical inheritance Ryujin claims grants him unmatched abilities:

Base Effects:

*Dragon Soul Resistance: Allows Ryujin to perceive and connect to dragon minds, bypassing natural resistance.

*Dragon Command Authority: All dragons instinctively recognize Ryujin's dominance (even hostile ones hesitate to kill him).

*Infinite Dragon Bonds: No limit on how many dragons he can command simultaneously.

Advanced Abilities (Unlock as Story Progresses)

*Draconic Aura: Overwhelming presence that terrifies weaker beasts and compels lower-ranked dragons to submit.

*Dragon Soul Fusion: Temporarily merges with a bonded dragon, wielding its elemental powers and physique.

*Primordial Call: Summons ancient, long-forgotten dragons from hidden lairs.

*Dragon Army Unity: Linked dragons fight with perfect coordination, acting as extensions of Ryujin's will.

*Sovereign's Ascension: Final transformation into the true Dragon God, enabling command of even Primordial Dragons.

6. The Curse.

*Beast Exclusivity: Ryujin can never bond with non-dragon beasts, normal bonds violently reject him.

*Blood of the Sovereign: His soul emits draconic essence, attracting dragons but also making him a natural enemy of conventional beast tamers (beasts fear or attack him).

*Human Hostility: The Legacy is feared and forbidden; empires, academies, and churches consider dragon mastery heresy.

*Soul Strain: Each new dragon bond taxes his body heavily. Without growing stronger, attempting too many high-ranked bonds risks death.
