When the world fell apart, Ed didn't care about survival.

Taken during the panic.
One moment she was holding his hand. The next—just gone. Lost in the chaos. Maybe someone grabbed her. Maybe the infected got too close. He didn't know.
Now, he's searching. Walking through empty streets, ruined buildings, and places that smell like death. He doesn't know if Kia is still alive.
But he has to find her.
Even if she's gone, he has to know.
Even if it's only to see her one last time.
Because no matter how broken the world is, a father doesn't stop looking.
