The next morning, I decided to take a stroll around the pack. The sun was barely up, casting a soft glow over everything, and the air was crisp and fresh. The quietness of the pack struck me—despite its size, it was peaceful, almost serene. It was strange, considering how chaotic things had been since I arrived. I let myself take in the surroundings, admiring the old architecture of the buildings and the orderly layout. It was beautiful in its own way, but I couldn't help but feel out of place.

As I wandered deeper into the pack's territory, I overheard voices coming from around the corner of one of the buildings. I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but their hushed tones caught my attention. Curiosity got the better of me, and I slowed my pace, just close enough to catch snippets of the conversation.

"Did you hear what Xavier did yesterday?" one woman whispered. Her tone was filled with disbelief and judgement.
