The next day, Sean was not home as he had gone out to buy groceries and something to celebrate Eliot's birthday. It had been a while since they had celebrated his birthday together. Sean came back after an hour to find the house empty. He did not know where Eliot was, so he thought that Eliot was at work or had gone for a walk, as it was boring to stay in a big house alone. Sean sorted the groceries, made lunch, and waited for Eliot. Eliot was very late this time, but Sean did not think much of it because Eliot usually came home on time, though sometimes he came home late. So, Sean had lunch and continued to wait for him. After a few hours, Sean decided to check the CCTV footage. It had been installed because the house was too big for just two people, and there was always a chance of theft. The footage was very disturbing. At eleven o'clock, when Sean was not home, a man came into the house and took Eliot with him. His car was without a number plate, which was very suspicious. The man looked like Thomas, the same man who had come to their house before. Sean went to the police station. Being part of the police team himself, he went with a few officers to get Eliot back. They looked at the footage and noticed that Eliot seemed shocked by something before going with Thomas. Since Eliot had no family to go with him or want him back, it felt suspicious. Sean sent a few officers to check the CCTV of the roads to see where the car had stopped. After they found the location of Eliot by tracking his phone, Sean rushed to the place immediately. The place turned out to be an abandoned warehouse where Thomas had taken Eliot. Eliot was tied to a chair; he looked scared, and there was blood on his face. The police officer who came with Sean took Thomas to jail for questioning about why he had kidnapped Eliot. Thomas looked furious about Eliot being rescued and said that he wanted an apology for being insulted in front of his wife and made into a laughingstock. Thomas was taken to jail, and Eliot was brought back home safely. Eliot was very weak; his fair hands had marks on them, and his wrists were scratched because of the rope. He was very scared to go with the officers because they did not seem trustworthy enough, and after what had happened, it was only natural for him to be afraid. Sean approached Eliot very gently and told him that they were not going to do anything to harm him and were only trying to help bandage his wounds, but Eliot refused. Eliot took a shower, and Sean helped him bandage his wounds. Eliot stayed with Sean and murmured that Thomas had told him he was in trouble and needed his help. Sean comforted him, and they sat in the living room together for the whole night. Eliot fell asleep with his head on Sean's lap, and Sean did not move because he did not want to wake him up after everything he had gone through. Soon, Sean also fell asleep on the sofa with Eliot still on his lap. The next day, Sean was woken up by a call, which also woke Eliot. Sean told Eliot to sleep a little longer, but Eliot said he was already awake and did not want to sleep again. Eliot went to make breakfast for the two of them while Sean spoke on the phone about work, as he had to go to the police station to question Thomas. They had breakfast together, and Sean told Eliot to take the day off work. On his way to the station, Sean called Eliot and told him that if he needed anything, he should call, and Sean would send it to him. Eliot replied that he did not need anything, but if he did, he would call. Sean reached the cell where Thomas was kept and seated himself in the chair before him. He started questioning Thomas about why he had kidnapped Eliot and what the reason was for the abduction. Thomas replied by asking why Eliot had insulted him in front of his wife. Sean remained silent for a while and then responded that Thomas should not have said anything about his family, and that the insult he was talking about was well-deserved. The questioning went on for a while, and it was decided that Thomas would spend six months in jail for abducting a young man who had been taken without any valid reason or connection to him. Sean went home after the questioning and found Eliot sleeping at the dining table with food prepared for him.
